2 chicken scoops salads Original & Dixie Chick. grape salad that was not cheap to add. Not same portion in their picture. Would you pay $20?

Poor, poor chicken. I hope she had a good life before ending it up delivered to me. She must have been a skinny Chick. I guess her other friends on the garden were not fed much. I ordered the meal Dixie Chick meal. I like their food, but the portions keep getting smaller than they used to be in the past. The grape salad was not the same amount shown in picture I guess if I were there, I maybe would have gotten the amount/size portions. Unfortunately I am bedridden sometimes and to go orders are the best way that I can eat. It really stinks for me because I have to spend a lot more $ to have it delivered.

This statement may seem odd to some, but for those that love chicken salad, you will understand!! Chicken salad chick is a dream come true!!! Their chicken salad is just perfect and they have numerous iterations of chicken salad to please every palate!! All I can say is fabulous!! Second thing I say: I wish we had this restaurant close to home!! But, this is a permanent stop on every foray to North Carolina and I can't wait to have it again! The food honestly speaks for itself. Super tasty blends of chicken salad on great breads, croissants or just on its own. Also, I can go on and on about the grape salad and the pimento cheese, either with crackers or also in a sandwich! The food is so good!! I also love the interior, super homey and nice outdoor seating as well! Each time I have visited, the service has been great! And, don't forget the little frosted cookie! A sweet treat! Love this place!! Until next time....

Have you really ever taken a step back and thought about chicken salad? It's kind of a gross concept... right? Like, hey, let's take cold chicken and tear it up, throw a bunch of mayonnaise in there, add a few miscellaneous ingredients, and hope that people don't realize they'd much rather be eating fried chicken. That's the entire concept. Well, thankfully for all of us that overthink things... there are good people out there like the Chicken Salad Chick, that have managed to take this strange concept, apply a little artistry to it, and overall make the entire thing really enjoyable. I went in with zero expectations. Chicken salad has been an afterthought most of my life. I like it, but have never sought it out, anywhere. On arrival, I was so impressed by all the different spins they had available on what was a simple concept at its core. They'll even let you sample whatever you want! I ended up getting three scoops of the types most appealing to me. One was a seasonal special that was a Thai peanut inspired chicken salad, and honestly, it was my favorite of the bunch... and the bunch was darn good. My other favorite was the "Sassy Scotty" which is a combo of ranch, bacon, and cheddar in the chicken. Like a loaded baked potato without the carbs! Overall. I was impressed with the taste, the amount of food, the price, the friendliness and welcoming attitude of the staff, the cleanliness and COVID adherence of the restaurant... I have no complaints, and I don't think you will either!

This location is nicely situated in the Palladium area. Ample parking and plenty seating indoors. I love the dining area as you walk in. Because it is my first visiting, I just immediately walked through the dining area straight to the counter. There is a walk around path to the left to avoid doing this. I didn't notice it until later (whoops). I noticed they have pictures of local attractions on the wall. That is such a nice personal touch. The menu is not overpowering and the cashier was so polite in taking my order. She walked me through the menu and even offered me a sample! Absolutely the best customer service. I would return to this location just for that. I picked the Olivia's Old South chicken salad. It was delicious. The drink cups are nice size and they have plenty of fresh drink options at the drink station. The croissant was so fluffy and buttery. I just wish they would give you a larger portion of the chicken salad in the sandwich. The tomato and lettuce looked and tasted as if it was personally handpicked for perfection. I think next time I will pick an extra scoop of chicken salad. The meal came with the sandwich and a side. I chose the pasta salad. Yum! It was seasoned well and great texture. A pickle and a cookie were complimentary with the meal. I didn't wait long for my food to arrive and when I finished, I dropped my plate at the trash area to the right of the door. Can't wait to go back! I'm definitely adding this to my frequently visited places.

Myself and my friend went to check out the soft opening of Chicken Salad Chick and it was amazing! The staff was amazing, food was amazing and super quick! I would say by the time we got our drinks and sat outside we were not waiting more than 5 mins before our food was delivered to us! The have a beautiful, spacious patio on the side of the building which gets nice shade so that the sun isn't blinding or beating down on you! Overall experience was wonderful, I will be back again! Regarding Covid - Everyone had on mask and there was sanitizer when you walked in and I mentioned lots of outdoor seating, I felt very safe. Photos: Classic Carol BLT with Macaroni and cheese and a side of pasta salad. Dixie Chick with Grape salad! I had never had the grape salad before OMG highly recommend!

The concept of a restaurant based around chicken salad was mind blowing to me. I couldn't imagine that many people woukd be interested in something like that. But what I didn't take into account is the amount of variety chicken salad can have. Chicken Salad Chick has taken the mundane and made it creative and delicious. With so many choices it can be hard to decide which to try, but thankfully they have a 3 scoop option that you can mix and match. For some reason though, I always seem to go for the Fruity Fran on a croissant. I love the hint of sweetness from the pineapples. But if sweet chicken salad isn't your thing, at least give the grape salad a shot. You'll be glad you did. The wait can sometimes be long around lunchtime but I can truly say I've never had a bad experience here and the food is always great.

If you love chicken salad you've got to check out Chicken Salad Chick. I ordered the Jalapeño Holly, Lemon Basil, and Classic Carol for dinner. All were absolutely delicious. Jalapeño Holly was my favorite. The restaurant was very clean, nice outdoor patio, and the staff were super friendly.

I have to admit I went in with low expectations. My wife wanted to try the chicken salad and I said sure. I tried the Chicken Salad BLT on Wheat-berry with fresh fruit. It was really good. My toasted wheat-berry bread was fresh, tasted great, and toasted to perfection. The Fancy Nancy chicken salad was tasty. The restaurant was very clean and everyone was very courteous.

Love this restaurant!! It is consistently delicious. I have never had a bad meal here. I placed my order online and went to pick it up. I walked in the door and was greeted by two employees with smiles on their faces. The restaurant was extremely clean and organized. When it comes to Covid standards, they are extremely cautious. There is hand sanitizer in several places throughout the restaurant. All of the staff was wearing masks and gloves. The tables are six feet apart and there is a lot of room for people. I am looking forward to going back to dine in when Covid is over. Every time we get chicken salad from here, I get The Chick which is a sandwich or scoop with a side, and a cookie. I have had several different kinds of chicken salad. The Classic Carol which is a plain chicken salad is good for people who like simple. Olivia's Old South is my favorite because it has eggs and pickles. It is my go to chicken salad. I have also had the Fancy Nancy which is delicious. We have had their soups which were good. The broccoli salad is a must-have if you like broccoli! The pasta salad is a marinated salad with feta, black olives, and artichoke hearts. The macaroni and cheese is elbow macaroni with a cheese blend. Take a trip to Chicken Salad Chick!

    Trying something new!

I wanted something different but I didn't want to feel like I needed a nap after my meal! Since I hadn't tried Chicken Salad Chick before I thought I would give it a go, and it didn't disappoint. The facility was clean and has a very distinct style of decor! It also had a huge patio, but it began storming and I'm not a huge fan of eating in the rain! The options on the menu are plentiful and I wanted to try them all. I opted for the Dill-icious on Croissant bread. It was AMAZING, and so fresh. I also got a scope of the spicy pimento cheese. I love pimento cheese and needed to know if this was an option for future pimento cravings! It was delicious as well. Only downside is it came with crackers that weren't much to rave about. I would have preferred a better cracker, or even some cucumber slices. The hubby got the Jalapeño Holly with Broccoli and Cheddar soup, and it was also delicious. He said this is def better than Panera, but felt a lot like a Panera environment. I would absolutely go back, but I would also happily order this to go. This would travel great, and feels like a healthier option than yet another burger!

I ordered the chicken sandwich with the medium heat level. I personally didn't find it overly spicy, so it's a good choice if you enjoy some heat without it becoming overwhelming. The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and made for a satisfying sandwich. The fries were just as nice and crispy, and their hangry sauce (rich, buttery, a hint of vinegar and pepper) paired well with my sandwich and fries. One thing I appreciated was how quickly the food came out. Even during a busy time, the service was efficient, making it an easy place to stop when you're looking for a quick meal.

Thick, fresh, juicy chicken with an incredible spicy soy garlic flavor that had just the right amount of heat. Every bite was crispy, messy, and absolutely worth it. And those waffle fries? Perfectly seasoned, hot, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and impossible to stop eating. Big shoutout to Sean, the assistant manager, for being professional and genuinely friendly. He came by to check on me and made sure everything was good, which says a lot about the customer service. The restaurant was also spotless, spacious, and had a great atmosphere. If you're hungry, don't come here playing around. Come with an appetite...and maybe stretch beforehand because that sandwich is no joke! I'll definitely be back.

They also made a really good margarita and I am not typically a fan of traditional margaritas. The food and drink recommendations she made for the table were great, and the onion rings are definitely the best ones we've had in the area since relocating here. Both sandwiches we had were great. The Chicken Philly had a little bit of a kick to it, which made it a nice change from usual Philly sandwiches and the Cuban was different from a traditional Cuban as it had some barbecue sauce on it. It was a little different for me at first, but I ended up really liking it. Both salads were pretty big and both people really liked the salads. The person that got the blackened grouper Baja salad thought that the grouper was fabulous, seasoned perfectly and loved the salad overall. Great casual atmosphere, the staff have really come into their own, and the food is simple but has little touches that often make it a small cut above most other sports bar type places around. My favorite things to order are the smashburgers, chicken philly (almost as good as the one at Old Town, a restaurant also belonging to this same owner), and now the fish and chips. I decided to get those last night, and the fish was two good size thick cod filets, fried and breaded perfectly. The fish was flaky and tender, the remoulade it came with really elevated it, I'm glad it was not plain tartar sauce (gross). The appetizer favorite here is the pulled pork nachos for me, otherwise, we usually just get meals. If I had one small complaint, it's that the tea is usually brewed pretty weak. Steep it a little longer, and you've got me fully hooked.

My initial introduction was when they were located in Stock and Grain Food Hall. I had wanted to try them for a while and luckily I was invited to a Yelp Event where I was able to sample some items. But as some months passed, they are no longer in Stock and Grain but in a food truck in High Point. I highly suggest following their Facebook page for dates and times where you can catch them. The service was still wonderful and the food was really good. The sweet potato cornbread is one of my favs and the chicken wings and catfish bites were fried to perfection. I love collard greens but do understand, everyone makes them differently. My family is from eastern NC so we make ours savory, theirs have a little sweetness to it. I don't mind it but this time around was so much better, it was very well balanced. The mac and cheese was delicious as well. Although not pictured, do check out their Russian tea drink. I felt very nostalgic and I have no other words but it was great. I try to savor it when I get some. I wish he sold them in half gallon jugs because I would buy it. That's how good it is. They have other items like Rasta pasta, oxtails, pork chops, and turkey wings. I can't wait to come back and try more food. Give them a follow and check them out. You won't be disappointed.

After much hype and inquiring with a friend, we decided to try Pantry Fried Chicken, a.k.a. "gas station chicken", selecting a location closest to our house. We opted to order a la carte items, which saved us almost $10 (essentially eliminating drinks). Our meal consisted of chicken tenders, boneless chicken wings, fish fillet, large side of wedges, side of coleslaw, and fried okra. Soft rolls were a bonus! The breading on chicken is crunchy & tasty and comes with an array of sauce selections. The large size wedges could feed an army (at least 4-6 ppl). Potatoes were crunchy on outside (coated?) and soft & tender like a baked potato on the inside (our favorite). The okra was chewy. Now, I'm not sure how to rectify this issue as it had been sitting in a closed container, possibly trapping moisture (maybe wax paper bags?) ‍ Unfortunately , the fish was included in okra container (problem for those who don't like their food touching, but we didn't mind), and fish seemed a bit undercooked, hard to cut, a bit chewy/fishy for my liking. Not sure what type of fish they used, but I do prefer mine cooked a bit more (maybe they accommodate this request?). The coleslaw was tangy (I could definitely identify the horseradish!). All in all portion sizes are plentiful and they provide good value for the money. Everything cooked appears to be deep fried and nothing really stood out besides salt/pepper as seasoning and the potato wedges. You do get good portion sizes and value for the money. Add-ons also seem reasonable. We ordered via app (they have a rewards program) which provided follow-up texts regarding pick-up instructions and thanking us for our order/visit again. You can additional items (per piece price) to a la carte items. Again, this is located at a gas station in a strip mall near Scientific. The ambiance is storefront carryout with lots of parking lot traffic (so be aware). Not sure if dine-in options are offered (aside from your car interior). Recommend checking them out--even if it's once--and form your own opinions. (I was raised on broasted chicken/potatoes, so I may be a bit biased.)
