I ordered the "the chick" on a croissant with the fancy Nancy chicken salad with lettuce and tomatoes. My side was the pasta salad and I received a cookie with it. The sandwich was good I felt it needed a little more seasoning so I added salt and pepper on it but overall decent chicken salad. The pasta salad had good seasoning but for me it was a little dry. I think they should add a little Italian dressing on it. My meal came to $8.65 for the sandwich and the side which is not that bad. Definitely worth trying out. I visited Chicken salad chick around 12:45 on a Friday. The place had a nice crowd but they quickly got everyone through the line . I got the BLT with my choice of chicken salad I got the fancy Nancy which is chicken,grapes and I believe pecans were the type of nuts that was in it . It came w/ a side I got fresh fruit , a pickle slice and cookie . The sandwich was ok needed salt but the pickle helped w/that I wish they would of spread or preach down the scoop of chicken Salad because it was all in one place. The cookie was so good !!!! I wish. Very convenient location and really appreciate the allergen labeling on the menu plus the additional allergen list provided on their website. This location in spruce has a patio which is very nice. Was my first visit at the Irving restaurant. The store is in a perfect location, right off the service road of I-635 and Beltline Rd. This is a rapidly growing area of restaurants. It's easy to access and plenty of parking. I am a huge chicken salad fan so I was excited to try it out. Immediately walking in, the decoration is gorgeous, giving the customers a very southern, home style feel. Very cute and vibrate colors. When walking up to the front counter, there are available chicken salads that are packaged and ready to go! The menu options has various selections. Went there recently to treat myself to lunch. Had the Fancy Nancy chicken salad. The chicken salad was wonderful, appeared really fresh and was tasty. The salad part was likely from a bag and could have been a little fresher. Service could use some work. It was after lunch hour and several tables needed bussing. Also, when my meal came I was given a spoon (should have been a fork) and no dressing. I had to retrieve both from the folks at the counter who never acknowledge or apologized for the mistake. He asked me if I never been there before and when I told him no he explained how the many works. I ended up getting a classic chicken salad with grapes on a croissant. The meal was actually fairly large, it comes with the sandwich or scoop, a cookie and a pickle. It was plenty of food for one person. I also had a coupon for a free scoop and decided to get the one that has apples and pecans in it for my husband. He loved it, and we both love the addition of the crackers. Went here specifically to try a unique flavor. Ordered the Barbie Q (barbecue) scoop with a "scoop" of fresh fruit, to go. Got to the office, opened my lunch to find a plain chicken salad. Ok. Mistakes happen, I get it. But this plain chicken had no flavor except salty. You can barely see the specks of celery in it.
