    Texas Redfish & Shrimp

The food was amazing! This is a must go to place if you are visiting Dallas, Texas! When we got to the place the server told us that we only had 10mn to order and they still sat us down. It was pretty quiet but the place looked amazing. They have an outdoor and it was very welcoming and cozy! The Texas Red Fish was so flavorful! This was my first time having Red Fish and I enjoyed every bit! A must go to!

What do they say? 10/10 would recommend! Ambiance is energetic and lively. Seating is spacious with an outdoor patio that is great on a beautiful day. Adorned with a water fountain and ample seating, you'll have a great time. Indoors is darker with lots of overhead lighting to make it feel less stuffy. Service was super kind and helpful. Lots of smiles and warmth. Most questions were answered with cheer. I ordered the red fish with crab and shrimp over dirty rice with a lemon white wine butter sauce. Seafood was fresh and seasoned very well. Shrimp was overcooked but that happens from time to time. Butter sauce could have had more body to it as well. But the focus is the seafood and it was delicious. At the end of the day, I'd come back and bring people with me.

I have been to other locations but a long time ago. I came as a part of a larger group and they requested a more private room and we got the wine room. It has a big wine rack wall and the table is fairly large in the room so you aren't just getting up and leaving but it was private and can hold 10 and the door closes which was pretty cool. The service was great and they didn't forget about us in the closed off room. I went with the chopped salad with Salmon. The salad was huge and was a bit of work to finish it. I went with medium well on the salmon since they said it comes medium rare. I highly suggest you try the chopped salad when pretending to be healthy!! All the other dishes other people got in the group looked really good and the portions were all large! When in the mood for seafood with the bayou twist come to Pappadeaux's

Phenomenal- like every other time I've been to a pappadeaux. The shrimp and grits are off the charts. Favorite chain restaurant meal anywhere. (Carrabba's chicken Marsala is #2) The gator bites are perfect. Not gamey at all. The sauce is to die for. The sautéed spinach is a perfect compliment to the shrimp and grits. Sooooo goood

Went to the one close to Irving,TX on Northwest Highway and I35E. Went on a weekday so the restaurant was not overly busy. Food was very good. Service was good and reasonably attentive. This is a very good seafood restaurant. Prices are high because it's seafood. Good place to go for special occasions. Has outdoor seating in a veranda styled setup.

I love this place it always has a nice feel about it! Our server was Andre and he was very accommodating! We enjoyed oysters on the half shell and they were very tasty. For entrees we had Mardi Gras pasta and Seafood Tagliatelle pasta they were both delicious! Thanks Pappadeaux for a wonderful meal on Valentines Day!

Great Food and Friendly service. Work friends went to dinner after work. The only reason I gave it a 2 in service is when they split our group in two tables, they forgot our order. Our friends on one table was done eating including desert and we have not received our food yet. But when we did get it it was very good. The manager did take off 3 dinners from our table

So happy to be back at pappdeaux's

I love it here! The staff and food here are amazing! We were in Dallas for a conference five days and ate at pappadeaux twice. It is that good! I took my cousin for her first time and made her a believer too. The calamari- delicious. The cocktails- delicious. I had this new item on the menu-it had salmon, lump crab and I think they were called street noodles. It was so good! I don't even remember what I had on the first visit but I just remember it was so good too. I love Pappadeauxs and it never lets me down. Whenever I'm in a city with one, I always make sure I go.

She brought great vibes and was nothing but sweet and attentive the whole dinner. 100/10 Let's jump into the food portion! ***Starters:*** Avocado dip - DELICIOUS! This had a lot more flavor than what we expected and the homemade chips made it the perfect appetizer. 10/10 Rainbow Sushi Roll - this was also great. The roll tasted fresh, but it is on the spicer side so don't order unless you can handle some heat. 9/10 ***Entrees:*** I got the Beverly salad and subbed my shrimp for seared ahi. According to our waitress, she said the receipt would reflect the Seared Tuna salad since there is an upcharge for the substitution but the food came out just like I ordered. My salad was fresh, bright and didn't leave me feeling heavy. 10/10 My cousin ordered the Maple Salmon. I believe the waitress said they now use gochujang sauce instead of maple. My cousin really enjoyed her meal and said she would definitely order it again. 10/10 The bachelorette ordered the steak frites, she ordered it to be cooked medium but it came out a bit more rare than she preferred. She still ate it as is and said it was tender and flavorful. 9/10 Lastly we ordered the lobster mac, this was sooooo good! The mac was runnier than I would like but the taste made up for it. I would order it again. 9.5/10

They utilize team approach where someone else brought the drinks and food runners brought the food. Manager checked on us to make sure everything was good. Our water glasses were never empty. I ordered a Bloody Mary that they returned with a shrimp and celery stick. Nice touch. I specifically went here to try their soft shell crab and it did not disappoint. Others in the party had lobster rolls and the fried shrimp basket. I forgot to mention that we had the appetizers , crab hush puppies and fried oysters and both were excellent. We also tried the bread pudding and key lime pie for dessert that we really liked. Overall we would definitely return.

The mocktail was delicious. Our crab fingers appetizers were in a tasty sauce. The salad could've used more flavor to it and fresher lettuce, but i appreciated the amount of Parmesan cheese on top. I personally thought the presentation of the salmon was too much and a bit odd. I wish there was more sauce (or at least a side of sauce). The risotto was too bland, but the brussel sprouts were tasty and lemony. The salmon had a great crust, but it was too undercooked for me and wasn't the best salmon I've had. The filet mignon was ordered medium rare, but too us it seemed a lot more rare and wasn't seasoned well. The mashed potatoes were delicious. Our server was kind and helpful.
