It was late afternoon & we were quite hungry. As we approached the counter we were treated by a perky young lady who pointed to the sign on the register that listed about 10 items they were out of. For me it wasn't a problem because I grabbed the last to go Cranberry Kelly from the cooler but my friend was interested in a sandwich that is supposed to come with a side. They were out of all the sides. So my friend got her sandwich without a side that was included in the price. We got our food & decided to sit in and eat it. She did get a pickle with her sandwich & said it was good. I believe she got the traditional. I dug into my Cranberry Kelly which was consistent with the same I've had at other locations. At the end of my salad I went to use the restroom. It was filthy dirty ! Had I seen that before I ate I probably would've skipped it. It was the first time we visited Chick Salad Chick while visiting Florida during our trip. This restaurant has a very pretty deco and is very elegant. We carried out on Veteran Day and the restaurant was very busy. The workers were very nice and friendly. Being our first time we ordered a croissant with chicken salad that was slightly spicy (can't remember the name) witt macaroni and cheese for side. The wait time was very longer but I totally okayed with it being Veteran day. The meal came with a drink and I absolutely love the design of their drink cups. By the time when my name was called, I picked up the carryout bag without checking. When we opened the bag at our resort, we realized that the girl gave me the wrong order. We ended up with an extra order and the chicken salad was rather plain but very good. We didn't get our mac and cheese. Instead we got grapes in this white sauce with brown sugar and pecan pieces. Everything was very good. Now I wonder how good is their mac and cheese :) We will have to go back and try other food items on the menu next time we visit Florida. read more

I came in after a disappointing day of bike shopping (if you didn't know - nobody has any). I was greeted with a smile that shown thru her mask :) It was a pleasant welcome that was extended from every employee, to me and all their customers. It packs the perfect ratio of jalapeños, siracha, bacon and ranch. There are other ingredients involved but these 4 are the ones I enjoy the most and found the flavors to really come through. I loved that the meal comes with a delicious sugar cookie and you can choose to have it on a croissant, other assorted breads or just with crackers. If you're on a diet, this restaurant will definitely be able to accommodate as I don't believe they pack heavy mayo into their salads. The inside of the restaurant is very girly and this makes it a perfect place for a lunch date with a group of friends. The restrooms are clean and there is plenty of parking all around the building. Kick'n Kay has just enough heat to let you know it's there but doesn't overwhelm your senses. The friendly cashier, Emily, helped me make my way through the menu and gave me some suggestions. I chose the Kickin' Kay Lynne sandwich on a croissant with pasta salad. The chicken salad was bursting with flavor and the croissant was soft and flaky. This sandwich is a combo of buffalo sauce, ranch, bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, jalapeños, & Sriracha. It's like a party in your mouth LOL. But don't let all the spicy ingredients fool you, it's not hot. But it is very tasty! I enjoyed the pasta salad as well. I did have one issue on this visit which was promptly handled by the manager. I placed my order at 6:51 PM, and when I had not received my order by 7:10, plus I noticed customers that came in after me received their food, I went back to the counter to ask about my order. It seems there was a computer glitch and my order did not print out in the kitchen. The manager recognized that I was having an issue and personally delivered my order to my table along with a coupon for a free scoop or sandwich on my next visit.
