Since you've upgraded your app, I can't access my points because it was on my work email. Since I retired, I don't have access anymore. I had to use work email for receipts. I go to this location because it has good food but, I also have the rewards app to redeem things , which I haven't done yet. They downloaded a new app and now you can't scan your receipt to earn the rewards. It seems very manipulative and I won't return until it's fixed or added to my account. It's not food that great and I'm not too happy. I called and the manager said they couldn't do anything about it. Really? Fantastic. My fiancé and I were in town for a tennis tournament and saw that this chicken salad chick was close by and got excited because we both are big fans. This was probably the best experience we've ever had at any CSC location. The manager (Craig) treated us with genuine southern hospitality. It was obvious that he took pride in this establishment. He greeted everyone he encountered with a smile and a helping hand. Some of the girls behind the counter were a little lethargic (maybe just tired - probably in college and exhausted). Anyways, Craig deserves to be recognized because he was leading his team and setting an example for how to treat customers. 10/10 would recommend. read more

It's my favorite place to get chicken salad ever. There is no place that will give you more than 10 different flavors of chicken salad incase if plain wasn't enough for you. Going back to eat regular chicken salad is difficult because I'm so used to having nuts, fruits, and other zesty flavors in mine. The service and restaurant are nice. Good thing about ordering is that you don't have to wait more than a few minutes. They seemed to get the hint that it only takes a second to dump this hearty scoop of fat onto a piece of bread, and you're on your way. I went there for the first time today with a group from work. I understand that this is a franchise that began in (gasp!) Auburn, AL. They have 15 different kinds of chicken salad ranging from fruity to spicy to the Classic Carol, a no-frills, basic chicken salad. They also have a few deli sandwiches for dining companions who are not chicken salad eaters. The restaurant is in the shopping center next to Winn Dixie, behind Applebee's. The dining area is cute but a little noisy. They also have 2 tables outside. You order your food at the counter, get your own drink and are served your meal at the table. They had a large table for 6 so we didn't have to push tables together for our group which is nice. They will give you a sample of anything but I ordered the Chick Trio which allows your choice of a combination any three chicken salads and side items. It comes with a handful of packets of wheat crackers and a pickle spear. I ordered the Fruity Fran (apples, grapes, pecans), the Sassy Scotty (ranch, bacon, cheddar cheese) and the pimento cheese. You get a good-sized scoop of each which I found to be a little too much food for lunch. I enjoyed each of the chicken salads. The Fancy Nancy is sweet and has just enough apples to be crunchy and whole grapes. I've had chicken salads like this before and really enjoy them. I went out on a limb with the Sassy Scotty and was happy that I did. It is not what you expect from a chicken salad. It's more savory than the Fancy Nancy. It's bacon-y and has a little bit of a spicy kick with definite chunks of bacon and cheese in it. I also got the Pimento cheese which I really liked. Cheesy, a little kick, not too much mayo. Just the way I like it. The unsweet tea is good also - brewed and fresh. My co-workers ordered and liked the Classic Carol, Cranberry Kelli (dried cranberries & almonds), Buffalo Barclay (kinda like chicken wings made into chicken salad), and Fruity Fran which is the Fancy Nancy with no nuts. Their only complaints was lack of chip and cracker choices. The chips are Mrs. Vickie's Kettle chips which they say are "too crunchy" and you cannot get plain club crackers. They also have a cookie of the day. Today it was a chocolate chip cookie which I was told was "moist and chewy." I will definitely go back again. I will probably order a Original Chick which is a sandwich or one scoop of salad with a side and pickle spear with a cookie since 3 scoops of chicken salad is a little too much of a good thing. read more

First I want to say the cashier was not much help. I got a trio, which she told me they had. She asked if I wanted to make one flavor a sandwich. I said " I dunno know I haven't been here before". She said " you can get a scoop or make it a sandwich either one." I asked for the 7.99 combo ( I was expecting the 2.00 for the 3rd scoop). I got 2 sides and bread. My bill was almost 22.00. Seriously, I almost just walked out. For lunch? Wow. So I sit and look at bill while I'm waiting. I was charged 7.99 for the meal. And the one scoop made into a sandwich was charged almost a 6.00 fee? When I got my plate I see the only difference is bread and one slice of tomato? The reg chicken salad was horrible. Chicken and mayo I can do at home... the Dixie Chick was good... but just added onion... could have done that at home too. I got one with Apple and grapes. That was pretty good. The fresh fruit Was sad. 1/2 strawberry.. one blueberry and about 5 grapes. The grape and nut salad was delicious. If I went back, that's what I'd order. If the only problem was the food... Ok let me just say that I LOVE THIS PLACE!! I am an extremely picky eater & I NEVER eat chicken salad outside of my kitchen. However my mom wanted to try it. I decided to go with her & I'm glad I did!! She ordered the classic carol (basic chicken salad). Let me just take a second & say that this chicken salad must have been prepared by angels!! It was THAT good!!! Very very basic chicken salad and it was just very delicious!! Moms meal (the thrifty chick) came with one scoop of chicken salad, crackers, chips & a cookie. Yes, it's a bit expensive, but well worth it!! Now, I had ordered a turkey sandwich. It was okay. A little too much bread & the turkey wasn't the best in the world, but it was a decent sandwich. Lastly, the staff was very friendly. The cashier offered to give me samples of any type of chicken salad ( there are TONS of options!!). The waitresses were very friendly as well! The family that sat behind us (we sat outside) waited about 5-10 mins for their food. When the waitress brought me & my mom our food she said: "Y'all have been waiting a while. CSC offers a variety of chicken salads as well as garden salads, pimento cheese, a grape salad and a couple desserts. If you can't choose just one variety of chicken salad, get the trio. Sassy Scotty is my fave! Both kids love eating here since there's so many flavors of chicken salad to choose from. If you want to cut out the carbs, they offer a plate with just chicken salad scoops. I don't really know what star to rate this place.... The food is excellent. Everything that I've tried here has been delicious. The Jalapeno Holly, the grape salad, and the brocoli salad are a few of my favorites. However, this great food is paired with horrible service. The girls are the counter are not friendly. I don't feel welcome when I have dined here. A customer shouldn't feel like a inconvenience. I actually even had such a horrible experience that I sent an email complaining. The manager responded with apologies. I've since returned to the restaurant, and the girls (one specifically...older, too much hair and makeup) was again not friendly. I've tried this place a total of three times and it is good, it just lacks the "great" quality. All the salads taste the EXACT same. I would advise changing it up. The name of the restaurant implies coming here will provide a unique experience into the chicken salad world, which it doesn't. The owners should come up with their own unique twists to their chicken salad sandwiches making THEIR particular recipes stand out among anyone else's. The Kickin' Kay Lynn didn't change either. Don't simply mix in the jalapeños, add a heaping serving of them onto the sandwich. Change the appearance of each individual sandwich so it is dramatically different from the others, for the three times I've been there, there has been pretty much zero change in each of the three different sandwiches I ordered. Absolutely delicious! My husband went there for the first time yesterday for lunch and called me at work and said that we were going before church. I had never been. The Sassy Scotty is NOT spicy at all, which was in a previous review, but very flavorful. This one is my favorite so far. I tasted the Jalapeno flavored one (I can't remember the names of them...sorry) and that one was good, if you like Jalapeno's. When you get the trio, you can replace a chicken salad with fruit, or any of their sides. You don't HAVE to get all 3 chicken salad's. I got 2 Sassy Scotty's and a fruit cup. Our 11 year old got the turkey sandwich, which he loved as well! I can't wait to try more flavors, but right now, Sassy Scotty is my fave! 'Love! Normally I love this place, however, I went on May 8th and the service was terrible. They only had one person at the counter. She was obviously very new. She was slow to take my order, and even after I gave it to her, it had to be repeated twice. The line was very long....out the door. I watched numerous patrons leave when the line seemed to just be at a stand still. Just in the 20 minutes I was in line, I saw over 10 people leave. After I was seated, even more people left. There was only one person bringing out food to the tables. When people left, the tables were not wiped down, not once. I am sure this was an isolated event, but if it becomes commonplace, then as much as I like the food at Chicken Salad Chick, I may have to find somewhere else for my lunchtime b/c I only have a limited amount of time for lunch, and I don't like spending it in line just to place my order. It probably would be wise to staff the store with more than the few people I saw, particularly for the lunch hour. read more
