The ambiance has a cool vibe with fun arcade games. TV monitors plaster the walls with live sports events. The service was phenomenal with happy servers! Great staff! The food was some of the best Cajun food we ever had, with unique twists on some of our favorite dishes. Scrumptious!! I ordered the Voodoo Shrimp and Grits. So good! Sweet honey glaze bacon was wrapped over plump shrimp and cooked to perfection. And the Boudin balls were OMG fabulous, too! My hubby fully enjoyed his dish, a combination platter of catfish, crawfish and shrimp. Of course, I had to taste it... so good!!! The portion sizes were more than enough for a meal, and a late night snack for later. (Trust me, it won't last past the night.) The Service Manager, Latia Horton, took our experience to the next level!! She genuinely chatted with us about how the restaurant was started. As a former Operations Director, it was a pleasure hearing someone talk so passionately about their job and position. I had ordered onion rings as my side, and when my dish was finally served I had gotten fries instead- but again, too little time to raise a fuss. We all enjoyed our dinner, but the wait ate up any goodwill we had. The view, however, is fantastic especially as the sun begins to set. Maybe when I have more time to kill, I'll give 205 another shot but until I see an improvement in service it will not be a high priority.

$28 Pasta... With the Wrong Noodles…read more I had been looking forward to trying Sugo for a while, so this visit was pretty disappointing. I ordered the Pasta Carnivora, which the menu clearly lists as coming with spaghetti. What arrived at the table was fettuccine instead. That might seem like a small change, but pasta shape actually matters. Different noodles hold sauce differently, and swapping spaghetti for fettuccine completely changed the balance of the dish. The thicker noodles made the plate feel heavy and didn't complement the meat sauce well at all. The bigger issue was that no one mentioned the substitution. If the restaurant was out of spaghetti, that's understandable, but customers should be told and given the option to order something else. I absolutely would have chosen a different dish had I known ahead of time. For $28, I expected a lot more attention to detail. When a menu describes a dish a certain way, especially at that price point for just sauce and noodles, it should either be served that way or the change should be communicated. Maybe this was just an off night, but if the dish had been served as described on the menu, the experience probably would have been very different. Unfortunately, this visit ended up feeling like a waste of money.

I would recommend their happy hour. The Margaritas were really good and street tacos were small but filling. I enjoyed them so much I went back a 2nd day. They have outside seating also. I can see a small group coming here and having a great time. I was traveling solo and still had a great time sitting at the bar. It's a great location with the riverwalk in walking distance and you can walk off food if you indulge too much. If in town again, I will be back.
