    Crab fries
    Corella D.

This was my first time trying this place. Let's say based on what I ordered, 3 stars is extremely generous. I'm only taking into consideration the issues they've had with staffing lately. I ordered a Buffalo chicken salad. It was supposed to be lettuce, celery, carrots, fried chicken, Buffalo sauce, and blue cheese. What I received was lettuce and grilled chicken. I had to use my daughter's Buffalo sauce and ask for the blue cheese. We asked for a Philly cheesesteak sandwich and they didn't have the ingredients. We asked for sweet potato fries and didn't have those either. The only redeeming item were the crab fries with cheese sauce. Those have great flavor and the cheese sauce isn't your run of the mill nacho cheese.

Not surprised ESPN has no idea what they're talking about

Should have known this would be a joke when ESPN rated it #1 for something. Their ticketing system for the kitchen has to be a joke, since all of our food came out separately, mine taking an extra 10 minutes, and coming out cold. For being in a theme park, you would think it would be more organized than a regular restaurant. It took 10 minutes for a water, so god forbid I ask for a hot (temperature) Buffalo chicken cheese steak sandwich. The chicken for it was also as bland as bland can be, and the sauce and cheese did not make up for it whatsoever. Also, they don't have a kids menu, but they have some overcomplicated system for a kids portion size. Fries do not come with your food either. They are an additional $9 to your already unsatisfying $11 sandwich. On a positive note, though, these are the best thing they serve, any way you get them (seasoned, sweet potato, and also unseasoned which isn't on the menu, surprise). The fries alone make this place deserving of 1 star. They only have one bathroom for males and one for females, so have fun waiting when this place is busy. This place is overpriced, and over portioned. If they cut the portion size down by 1/4 and took $2-3 per menu item (especially since fries are a separate charge) it would be a lot more worth the time I wasted there. Well, ESPN, you don't know what you're talking about, once again.

First time here and it felt good just to sit down and warm up. We ordered onion rings, buffalo boneless wings. And nachos. Onion rings were good. Buffalo boneless wings were cold we took them back & the cheese on the nachos were cold too. Took that back as well! It was somewhat better then continuing to eat from the food trucks all day. Food was OKAY.

But they're so much more. C.ocky L.ittle A.sian G.uy namesake Khan joined us for a lot of our visit and shared about his business, beers, and life story. Sandusky seems like a city reawakening from another time, and CLAG is definitely an anchor in the downtown area. The brewery is located in what seems like an old department store; there's lots of free parking outside. It's divided into a few main areas: inside the door you'll find a ton of refrigerators with 4-pack cans and limited bottles ready to go. Their prices are ridiculously low for the quality, a great option to stop before a party to stock up. They have a casual lounge area right inside and a shelf filled with the leftover label stickers from past releases, all free to take. The main area is the bar and restaurant (see separate review), with another lower bar which felt more casual to the left/down. Behind the bar is the brewery area, which is huge and not being completely used yet (they could expand, but doesn't seem like they need to). Khan took us on a great inside tour of these area, it's as simple as they come with an amazing finished product. Outside of their flagship hazies, they also excel at other styles including super clean rice lagers, and big boozy styles. They also have merchandise including tons of glassware inside. If you're a fan of great modern beer, pop culture puns, and great people, this is a must-visit brewery.

Everything was clean and looked nice. Staff were very friendly and they chatted with us and made recommendations. The proprietor was there and was a riot. (He's the guy on their fun beer labels). When we first arrived my friend spotted an old beer he loves on the top shelf. He asked the owner if it was for sale. Soon my buddy had a bottle of Lizard of Koz by Founders. Great service. The beer and food were great. They seem to specialize in New England IPAs (juicy and hoppy but not bitter) as they have so many on the menu. They also had stouts and porters. What a great tap list. I don't want to leave out the great food. I had a beef Pho and my friend had the TNT roll. Both great and flavorful. A big thumbs up. A place not to miss if going to Cedar Point.

Upon arriving, Chappell Roan was playing and the waitress was singing so we knew we made a good choice! We also got the meatball sandwich, and the bbq bacon burger. The burger was on the small size, but the aioli in it mixed with the grilled onions made the burger so savory sweet I loved it! For an appetizer, we ordered the wedge salad and the Buffalo Chicken dip. I got the perch dinner for my main course. The kid got a chicken sandwich and my wife got the brisket Mac n cheese. They said that the kitchen was backed up. Honestly, it was totally not an issue. We were just relaxing, watching the game and chilling after a 7 hour drive from NJ. What was an issue was...... appetizers came out exactly the and time as the main courses. WHY????????? It couldn't have taken that long to throw blue cheese, bacon and tomatoes on a chunk of lettuce and pump out the Buffalo Chicken dip and then worry about the main courses later. Now we have to decide, do we want to eat the entrees or even touch the appetizers. That alone always ruins everything. Food was very good. Like I said, people were very nice but you just can't bring everything out at once. Defeats the point of "starting" with something.

My husband, who is extremely picky about meat quality, declared it the best burger he's ever had. Stuffed burgers are notoriously tricky to cook to a preferred well-done without drying out, but the kitchen nailed it! My only minor critique--and this is just personal preference as a bit of a seasoning buff--is the perch. The fish itself was amazingly fresh, which is the most important detail, but the fried batter was a little plain for my taste. I would've loved a kick of Old Bay or extra seasoning in the batter, similar to how amazingly seasoned the fries were! All in all, this spot is a great hidden gem in Sandusky. Highly recommend stopping in!
