I went in person to get a quote to have my SUV looked at, and possibly repaired, for a minor frame issue. Was advised that their welder was not available therefore was I wasn't given an estimate I was hoping for. This was one of the best experiences I've ever had at a shop before I called yesterday was having trouble getting my 97 Chevy pick up aligned. They got me in the next day. The guy's been there for 45 years or more has a lot of experience on older trucks Tire Pros on Shaw could not align it. I took it back three times. They finally gave me my money back. I had an appointment at two. I did have to wait about 35 minutes for them to look at my truck and then they had it done within the hour and fix the tow truck drives. Terrable place to take your truck or mororhome ! Steve, the GM is a complete asshole. He will tell you he's working on your rig and the whole time its sitting on the street or back lot, he is full of shit. The General Manager is a male stripper, absolutely no (zero) experience as a mechanic. Then after telling you your truck or motorhome is ready to pickup; its full of oil, greese, and dirt, they either did not really fix the issues you had, and/or they break something thats not actually broken when you brought it in. This place was recommended to me by Cummins Service person who did notice the problem while servicing my generator. Reluctantly I brought my RV to this place. Took my brz here to get the fronts aligned as my toe was off. The guys took care of me even with my car being low (tucking tire). Love being served via appointment. I was in and out in about less than an hour and my car drives super straight. Steering wheel is straight as well. Reasonably priced especially for an alignment. Our family has used Chick's for years and vehicles have included: farm equipment, a 40 foot RV, a Jeep Wrangler and multiples work trucks. They always do superb work and have taken really good care of us. They treat all members of our family well. Our young sons are never intimidated and they treat me as a woman with respect and courtesy. Ironically we frequently run into people we know there and everyone always says the same thing "Chick's is the best in the valley!". This shop is targeted at trucks, so don't bring a car. I paid for a 4 wheel alignment and the right rear tire was still wearing unevenly, so I brought it back and they basically ignored me. I waited for 45 minutes and then left and brought the car somewhere else. That shop confirmed the alignment was way off, so Chick's did a terrible job. read more

Took a chance getting a track car aligned here. Alignment felt good but steering wheel was over a quarter turn off centered rendering the alignment useless. The alignment tech did not make sure the wheel was perfectly centered before adjusting tie rods. This happens often when techs set the wheel straight from outside the car. Might appear to be straight from that angle but when sitting in the car it's way off. The only other explanation is the wheel was centered correctly but then not properly secured allowing the wheel to move off center when the tie rods were adjusted. Have seen this mistake many times. From a seasoned shop I would expect more. Didn't bother turning around to go back. read more

We are very happy with the work done to our vehicles by Chicks. The quality of the work and parts used were better than i expected. We had alot of front end work done to a 2005 cargo van and when we got it back it pulled to the right a bit. They told us to bring it back in and took care of it. They honored their word and they have great professional attitudes. They have worked on 2 of the 3 vehicles we own and I would recommend them to any one. Don't go to these guys. All talk and that's about it. Asked if I need an appointment and they said no just have it here tomorrow by 8 am. Brought the car in at 8 am and it sat there all day-Then they said they didn't have time to do the work. They did not align the front end like they were supposed too. The only thing they did was balance the front wheels and charge me an outrageous price. These guys are morons and will rip you off. read more
