My husband and I stopped in for an early dinner. The menu is quite large. I ordered the chicken fajita taco salad. The ingredients tasted great. Due to the bell peppers, the taco shell got soggy quick. That did not necessarily bother me because I never eat the whole taco. My husband had the Plato Mexicano. The portions were a good size. The service was quick. The experience and food was good if you are looking for Tex Mex in NE Edmond.

To-go chips, queso and salsa

I was very disappointed in the price of their to-go chips, queso and salsa. I was charged $20 for a large queso ($9), a large salsa ($5) and a bag of chips ($4). I'm not one to complain but I have never paid this much at any other restaurant.

I've heard mixed reviews about this place so I was excited to try it for myself. First impression easy access from15th street. Once you enter it's a spacious open restaurant. We were seated quickly and our waiter was alittle impatient and watching the door. I didn't understand his impatience. I'm a quick order but my husband takes alittle longer and I think he was kinda short. We received our food at separate times which was okay both our meals was hot. The salsa was kinda spicy and the chips pretty good. Overall my enchiladas were good and my husband happy with the burritos. I'd return and hopefully have a nicer server.

Positives: Love the salsa and loved the chicken tortilla soup! The soup has chicken, rice, carrots, zucchini, cauliflower, broccoli, and other veggies in it. Much better than your average chicken tortilla soup. My dad loved the enchiladas saying their sauce was better than other restaurants. Negatives: Service was lacking in our server was not very proactive. She never offered or brought us water or asked if we wanted a refill or another drink. We had to ask for small plates for when we were eating our appetizer of queso and guacamole. The blanco queso tasted good, but is runny, so plates are necessary. We had to ask for more chips when we had about 5 chips left and a ton of queso and guacamole left to eat. Our server should have brought more chips when she served our appetizer.

This restaurant just opened this past week. I thought it works be worth a try. I have mixed feelings, on one hand they might have one of the best Coctel de Camaron aka Shrimp Cocktail that I've tasted. The Guacamole Casero was fine. It was chunkier than I like but a quick mix at the table got it to the consistency that I prefer. My wife choose the Single Fajitas 1/2 chicken 1/2 beef. In my opinion it lacked seasoning otherwise it may have been a great dish! The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. In order to be fair about my rating I will have to go back and try other menu items.

OMG. Absolutely nothing negative to say. The frozen margarita was the perfect combination of cold but drinkable (and NO BRAIN FREEZE!!!), the salsa and queso were so good we asked for more chips, and everyone enjoyed their entrees. The server was a little eager to take our order so we had to repeatedly ask for more time, but that's a positive not a negative. There's plenty of room between tables and booths making navigating the restaurant easy. Add to that the Scan to Pay at the end and we're in love. This is easily the best Tex-Mex we've had in Oklahoma, and I see this becoming a place we hit up on the regular. So excited since this is the one thing (really good Mexican food) we haven't been able to find since moving here from Houston. Recommendation for those who like a little spice: mix the spicy sauce that comes with the street tacos in with a bowl of salsa. It's the perfect balance of fresh salsa with a little heat!

Tacos Al Pastor

Had lunch there today and it was excellent. I had the combination fajitas and the flavor was perfect. The staff was attentive and helpful. My wife told them what liked and they suggested the tacos al pastor. She loved it. We will be going back!

Food and queso was excellent. Paying for sopapillas that came with a big blob of whip cream instead of honey not so good.

Below average. Nothing special. Carne Asada was two small pieces. Cops and salsa were poor.

I was craving poke today and remembered this place existed and decided to try it. It is an unassuming place with just a few tables and dim lighting. But, the lady who runs the place is super sweet and informative. I ordered a tuna and salmon poke bowl with pretty much everything on it and added seaweed salad and an extra scoop of tuna. It was absolutely DELICIOUS! In total, I think I paid around $21, but I got a traditional styrofoam Togo box full of food. Everything tasted so fresh! The fish wasn't fishy and tasted so good. I might have just found this place, but I'm gonna make up for lost time! I'm already craving it again lol If you like fresh poke and delicious Asian flavors, I fully recommend this place. (No, there's no picture bc I literally sat in my car and devoured my meal. That's how good it was)

We always leave happy, full, and we know another visit here is in our future. It's a mom-and-pop shop that's earned every bit of its loyal following--and they absolutely deserve your support. The vibe? Like family. We always dine in, and one of our favorite things is watching the owners greet regulars like old friends: "Hey, good to see you! How's your kid's soccer season going?" "We've missed you--haven't seen you in a while!" Or even, lol "See you next week!" It's that kind of place. And if you're grabbing takeout? They've got that down, too. I think more folks get to-go orders than dine in. They have a few modest tables and a small TV that plays something in the background. This place is the epitome of your favorite casual spot where you come back again and again and order your one favorite thing because it's just that good. Build your dream poke bowl. Whatever inspires you--go for it. In my humble opinion, this is still the best poke bowl in the OKC metro. We've tried others... but we always end up comparing them to this one. And honestly? Nothing beats it. So we stopped trying and just keep coming back here. I love to add the seaweed salad and all the sauces on mine. I go back and forth between 1/2 salad and rice or just rice as my poke base. The Salmon and tuna (along with all the other ingredients) always taste fresh. Come here. It's the perfect lunch or dinner on the go spot before your Target or Lowe's run, they're both nearby-that's what we do. Thanks, The One Cafe team. You know we love you. See you soon! July 2025

The entrance has had a light refresh as well. Gone is the big glass dessert display case but the additional walking space is nice. Sadly we learned that the cakes are being discontinued, RIP the wonderful carrot cake. Fortunately we snagged one of the last pieces. It's my understanding that cookies and other sweet treats will still be available. The menu is loaded with new and exciting choices. Deciding what to choose was a great problem to have. We started with the Trio Dipper with house made chips and balloon bread, which is like pita bread on steroids and just as delicious. The dip selections were terrific and we were brought more chips when ours ran low. Two of us ordered the Tuscan Chicken. They were exceptional bites. They were parmesan breaded chicken fritters stuffed with the tomatoes and cheese. It's an inventive take on a traditional recipe and a tasty home run! My husband ordered the Chicken Piccata, looking for a lower calorie option. The lemon butter wine sauce was delicious and it's a terrific option. The last guest chose the fried chicken which is an old and familiar favorite. You absolutely cannot go wrong. We ended the night sharing a piece of carrot cake and a salted caramel cookie.
