    Fajitas

Everything was absolutely amazing. The Paloma was the best I have ever had. The salsa was so good and so was the fajitas.

Friday fajitas for 2 at a price of $25 is a fantastic deal. The chicken and beef are very flavorful.

Food is delicious and authentic Mexican. Hard to find good Mexican food that isn't Tex Mex.

Ordered the 2 piece fish lunch special at the counter, took about 5 to 10 minutes, and it was brought out to me. Decent size of food for the $9.99 price. The fries were ok, the hush puppies were good, but small, and the 2 decent sized catfish were good too. They were playing cool music to go along with the Louisiana theme and it was enjoyable. 2 more groups of people walked in while I was there, so they were very slow for lunch. I don't know if it's locally owned, but I try to eat local in Edmond as much as possible, go give them a try!

The building entrance is kinda weird if you're not entering directly from the side of the street it's on, but it's definitely something you can figure out. My husband and I got the Monday special- 2 for $32 and it was a perfect serving of food for us. We got the bayou mix butter/seasoning which had a little bit of a kick- good for me but on the spicier side for my husband. One thing I would recommend is watching a video on how to open the crab legs up prior to coming. We figured it out eventually with the tools they have but it took some practice. We also asked the staff there and she said she didn't know how to either which was pretty strange for that being a big item on their menu. Overall we enjoyed the food.

Staff is still on point and ready to make sure your meal is hot when it arrives. We did try the Shrimp Yaya this time around and that was fantastic! Just the right amount of sweet and heat. Recommended if you like that type of thing. For me it was the crawfish étouffée because, I haven't had it in what seems like forever. Probably way too long. Anyway, I have enough for tomorrow's lunch!

You can definitely find something you will like. We started off with Shrimp YaYa. I'm not even sure an explanation could do it justice. The sweet and bold flavors, the size of the shrimp and the fact they give you so many pieces make this a great appetizer. It has also been a full meal for one before. My meal was Charbroiled Oysters - Half Dozen. The flavor was amazing and the size of the oysters was plenty big. It came with 4 buttered pieces of toast and a light creamy dipping sauce that was a perfect pairing. My husband got the Fried Seafood Platter. It started with Ana amazing Crab Cake (usually not a fan but theirs is great). You get some regular fried shrimp and some double stuffed fried shrimp. Fried oysters and frog legs. The tartar sauce was a great pairing and not overly tart. The customer service was excellent, atmosphere was great for a couples date night or a large family meal. It's a little on the pricing side but the food is worth every bit of it.

Chef Kevin Lee took his original Korean fried chicken concept and evolved it into this upscale Korean steakhouse that somehow feels trendy, comforting, and wildly creative all at once. We ate our way through dishes like: Tteokbokki with wagyu ragu Sweet potato burrata Incredible cocktails Korean-inspired steaks cooked perfectly Every single plate had intention behind it. Nothing felt thrown together for social media hype. This was flavor first. And somehow after all of that...that banana pudding still stole the finale. Nearly impossible to finish, but absolutely impossible to stop eating. Also, Tony gave some of the best service I've had in a long time. Knowledgeable, engaging, and made the entire dinner feel like an experience instead of just another table turn. A lot of people forgot about Birdie's after the buzz around Maht exploded, but trust me...this spot deserves your attention. If you can't land a Maht reservation for the next century, Birdie's needs to be your next dinner reservation

Drinks we started with Inca Kola (lemonade) and Maracuya (Mango Juice). These were a great starter, not tarts but not overly sweet. As an appetizer we got Patacones con ceviche de camaron. These are fried plantains like chips, topped with shrimp and an amazing sauce that will make your mother water. It's served warm and best to be picked up and eaten. This will get you ready for your entree. For a fish entree we had Ceviche de pescado. This is a dish with fish and corn in lemon juice and hot peppers. It's served cold on a bed of lettuce with sweet potato slices. It's very easy on the eyes, flavorful, good mix between the fish and red onions. The sweet potatoes gave it a good contracting flavor. Best eaten with the hot peppers and lemon juice. Our final entree was Lomo Saltado. This is a beef dish served over beans and tomatoes with rice, red onions and cilantro sauce. I put a bed of rice down, covered with onion, then beans, then the beef (which had the most amazing tenderness) and topped with the cilantro sauce. The sauce pulls the whole meal together, and all the flavors works amazingly with each other. Finally we finished with Flan Lucuma. Picture traditional flan but instead of a caramel type topping it was covered in a Peruvian fruit juice that gave it some amazing flavor and not an overpowering sweet. We will definitely be back for more. The staff were so sweet and kind. Very helpful and helped us pick out some great choices. You won't be disappointed.
