I am a local Oklahoman that grew up in San Diego and spent many a weekend in high school going across the border to Mexico with my friends to party and eat real Mexican food (Cali Mexican food is legit in its own right too though) and I can say without a doubt the breakfast burritos here at Sinaloa stand out amongst the sea of mediocre Mexican joints here in OKC. Tbh I was fully prepared to have another average breakfast burrito, but was pleasantly surprised with how delicious it was. I had the Jeff's Way burrito and it is an example of what a solid breakfast burrito should be. I have not had any other dishes here at Sinaloa, so their burritos are the only thing I can vouch for. Sidenote: It's a bit wild that a place that's pumping out some of the best breakfast burritos in the greater Oklahoma City metro is located in north Edmond of all places. lol read more

I was looking forward to some good Mexican food along with some creamy spicy salsa from this restaurant but when I asked for hotter salsa my waitress said that they didn't have any. I saw it on the other table so I'm not sure why she originally didn't give it to me. When my food came out she gave me the green salsa but not the red orange one until I asked. Not sure what's going on. She also never came back to check on me and felt like she was ignoring me. As I was waiting for a to go box, a table of people sat near by and when they got their food she immediately asked them if they needed salsa...... This place use to have fantastic customer service, we have been here 40+ times but I will not return after today. I came in today with a coworker they sat us down and we sat there for over 10 minutes without a single person to take our drink order or bring chips and salsa. Then another group of Latin American guys came in and they brought them chips and salsa, and immediately started talking their drink order so we politely got up and I told the waitress that was taking their order that we had been waiting 10+ minutes and we were leaving! Visited Sinaloa Signature and had a pretty underwhelming meal. We ordered the queso as an appetizer, but it arrived very watery and had little flavor. The main disappointment was the $30 fajitas. They were extremely oily, with a surprisingly small portion for the price. Service was the biggest issue, though. Our waitress was friendly at first, but several times we tried to flag her down for drink refills or the check, and she was clearly more focused on chatting with friends who had just come in. It made the whole experience feel overlooked, especially since the place wasn't even that busy. read more

This is not your typical Tex-Mex or interior Mexican restaurant. As the name implies (a state along the Sea of Cortez) the menu offerings lean heavily towards seafood. The chips are the thick variety and the salsa is chunky. The house made hot sauces are a bonus. Our oysters were the largest, juiciest we've ever had in Oklahoma. The seafood tower was chock full of tuna, shrimp, octopus, fish, lump crab. The lime/ Worcestershire/tomato dressing was good, but almost overwhelmed the seafood. The avocado was bursting with freshness. The prawns were huge and were coated in the same delicious sauce provided and grilled. I saw a post indicating the prawns they were sourced from Edmond Seafood where the owner brings in fresh seafood from the gulf every Wednesday. I bet the gulf oysters were, too. The server was friendly and worked to provide us a leisurely dining experience we requested. The ambiance was abut stark, but it's a new place. We will definitely be back. read more

The food was ok. The best thing ordered was my son's shrimp. But it cost $24 for a lb. Everything was a charge. Tortillas cost, cheese sauce costs. If you ask about a military discount they bring a separate ticket for the one persons meal. So you have to run your card twice if paying with card. read more

My entire family are happy to see that a new restaurant, under new ownership, has taken over this location. Sinaloa is an excellent demonstration of how really good Mexican food should look and taste. We have now been dined at Sinaloa several times only to be impressed each and every time.
