Perfect spot for a late night snack especially after or before going out to the bars in this close to mission area. Walked past it and saw the pizza and knew this was a fresh and quick place! One slice is 2 little slices and reasonably priced. The staff were so friendly and kind and they had a pretty broad menu. You can eat inside but it's a quick spot with no chairs, there are tables and napkins. Def a spot if you're trying to get a snack while out drinking. The food, service, and delivery was spectacular. It is very rare that I write reviews, but here is a story. I didn't realize Chico's was a chain, and ordered from the wrong location... right before Super Bowl kickoff. I called and asked them to switch to delivery, and they did it within minutes. I implored the delivery driver to accept a better tip, and he declined. What amazing service. I am a loyal Chico's enjoyer now. As for the food, both pizzas I've tried from here are amazing. Good pizza, sketchy area! We had some drinks and decided we needed some late night greasy food so pizza it was. The fact we were not completely sober made the journey through the dirty streets, lined with homeless people, not as daunting. Pizza is reasonably priced, with one large slice ranging from $3-4 depending on the number of toppings. Only downside is they charge a 75 cent fee for using a credit card, so bring cash if you can. The pizza itself was filling and cheesy. The atmosphere is a bit sketchy but I can tell it's a local favorite! The workers are always very friendly. They don't always have every flavor for slices only what they have for the day. We've been ordering Chico's pizza since 2008, took a break for the past couple of years with all the new places that popped up and just recently ordered from them again. Why did we ever forget about this place???? I do not know!!!!! But taking that initial bite brought us back to our comfort zone! The crust is so fluffy ... if you like thick crust ... it has just the right amount of crunch to it's pillowy inside and the flavor was so balanced. We stopped by because of the location is near our apartment. It was good impression until I saw the guy without a glove touching the food, then someone came to order and with the same hand, he touched the tablet, and another one came & paid in cash, he touched the cash, put it in the register. If you're on the fence ordering from Chico's Pizza, just pull the trigger piglet. You won't regret it. Their pizza is fresh with very tasty ingredients. The meat, cheese, sauce, and crust we're all absolutely perfect. The California Pizza was to die for. The right amount of meat without being overwhelmed and not too greasy. Hit the spot and was exactly what we were looking for when we were craving pizza. The garlic bread is wonderful too and was a great addition to our meal. Also, it's incredibly affordable compared to pizza places in the rest of the city! My only issue is the Seafood Pizza. The description didn't list what sauce was used and we mistakenly assumed it would be a type of white sauce, because red sauce doesn't go great with seafood pizza. It ended up being a red sauce and the pizza was alright but not good or great. If it had a different sauce (and maybe baby shrimp) it'd be perfect. Highly recommend going in if you can or calling them directly if you want to have your pizza customized to your liking. Chico's Pizza has a great variety of items on their menu. I previously wrote a review of this placing mistaking it as Supreme pizza that's literally 25 yards away. I can say that out of the two, this place is definitely the superior pizza place. If you're looking for a cheap hole in the wall place for your late night dinner after a night out on the town. Like all establishments around the tenderloin district, you're bound to run into some homeless on the way here. This welcoming and small pizzeria offers various Italian American foods for bargain bin prices. As for the food, it was pretty good all things considered. I bought a pizza slice and drink combo for $6.25. I got the combo slice, which was quite thick. And I mean thick. I'm a growing boy (or so my Mom tells me) and I was already filled after one slice. Dam Great Slice of Inexpensive Pizza, But Absolutely Hell To Get To SITREP Chico's is totally in a ghetto neighborhood (6th & Mission) and the parking sucks - this really is a stop if you just happen to live nearby OR be walking past it like I was after the NERO show @ The Warfield this past Thursday Night. Do you remember the end of "The Blair Witch Project" when the pushy girl keeps screaming and follows Mike downstairs. Then we see Mike standing in the corner, and she drops her camera and it keeps rolling. Remember that classic freak-out scene? I think that would be a typical evening at Chico's Pizza, only nobody would pay attention since you're more than likely to hear somebody screaming on that adventuresome block of 6th Street anyway. I guess I must be Mike in this allegory since I took my life into my own hands, walked briskly from Mission and decided to get a $5 slice of anything. Although the pizza was decent by the slice, I am not recommending you ever come here. This is 6th Street and this place was swarming with crackheads at 2:30 a.m. This place is so real, you should really stay away. After leaving a downtown club and parking on 6th Street, we headed back to the car when our french guests were hungry. I really didn't want to go in, but we did. There was a line, but all you need to do to get service is act like a fool. They shuffled two customers through the line before us, so we let them go. This guy was short .50, so we took care of that too. He walks outside and two seconds later is back in and done with his pizza. One of my friends made the remark that he must have been hungry. That's when he mentions that he had not eaten in days and shared the slice with two other guys. My friend felt bad for him and gave him $5 for another slice and a drink. After we left, my friends were left with the feeling that we left "New Jack City". I was pretty embarrassed to have brought them here, but they wanted to go. I'm completely disappointed. I ordered a pizza that should be half cheese and half with a toppings of Canadian bacon and pineapple. That cost about $14 and some change. But you guys gave me a WHOLE Hawaiian pizza. A whole Hawaiian pizza cost about $16.50 if I got that right. But I wanted just half of it yet you didn't give me what I ordered. I also ordered a mozzarella sticks. It was slightly warm. Not sure if that should be enough reason why my mozzarella aren't soft anymore. Well, let's just say my buddy and I were craving some wings since we needed to sober up after the Giants game, and came across this place walking around. The 2 guys working the counter were friendly and let us know it would take about 10-15 minutes for the wings. During our time waiting, we witnessed several crazies come in and out of the place several times. At one point, one of the staff members had to raise his voice at a lady who was going all crazy and yelling weird things. I felt bad for them, being that this area is filled with homeless and mentally ill people. This area borders Tenderloin and is definitely a social economically depressed area of SF. At night time you can only imagine it gets worse, and that's when we were here. They made our wings in a timely manner and provided several small ranch containers for us. The wings were honestly very basic and didn't have much flavor, but since we had the drunk munchies, they probably were better than we thought they were. I wish we had tried the pizza, but I give credit to these guys who have to endure all the BS that goes on in the neighborhood with the local bums coming in and starting a raucous. Probably won't be back anytime soon, but this place is worth a shot if it's late and you're craving some pizza and a show! read more

If you want the best pizza in the city, go to Chicos pizza! I been to this location several times but also get it delivered. I tried everything on the menu and it does not disappoint. It's definitely our go to spot and if you ask any locals in the area they will tell you to go to Chicos. The people that work there are pretty cool too. Living relatively close to Chico's, I can't comment on the fast and free delivery but I'd assume it's decent (and better than Dominos for sure). The prices on the pizzas themselves definitely are some of the cheapest I've seen in the city. Their Large pizzas are 16 inches, while most every other pizza place I checked out has 14 inch Larges, and even with the larger size their Large pizzas are competitively priced. A 16 inch Cheese is 16 bucks, and most of them fall under $20. Compare that to a 14 inch Cheese pie for 16, 18, or even 20 dollars from others like DNA, Dominos, Papa John's, or ZPizza. Pricing aside, I feel like the quality of Chico's pizzas are really respectable. The flavor impact of the ingredients wasn't particularly outstanding like something from Tony's, but the pizzas we got had a generous portion of toppings and were perfectly cooked. The crusts were of a medium thickness with some fluffy dough surrounded by a crunchy exterior and the cheese wasn't a mess of orange grease. No burnt spots anywhere either, and the leftovers we had reheated perfectly, with no special treatment needed to retain the rigid and crispy crust. We ordered the following styles: - Custom with Jalapeno, Mushroom, Olive - delicious, and the ingredients were all on the top level so picking off olives was easy for the person that didn't like them. Like I mentioned before though, there wasn't much flavor aspect so the flavor of the olives was hardly present at all to begin with - Veggie with bell peppers, tomatoes, olives, and a ton more - Great representation of a Veggie pie, it was almost hard to eat due to everything on top. - Meat Lover's/Chico's Special - Loaded up with sausage, pepperoni, and a bunch of other meat, this was just like the veggie pie in being almost hard to eat due to all the ingredients. No complaints on that though! In our take-out order we also ordered the Wings. I thought I had seen them advertised as BBQ on the menu, but the ones we got definitely had Buffalo flavor components to it. Not bad by any means, but be warned that they weren't just mild BBQ wings and instead had a bit of kick. We also got an order of the Garlic Bread/breadsticks topped with cheese, which were good but not amazing. All in all, I'd definitely get the custom and the meat pizza again, and the wings were really quite amazing as well, especially when topped with a hot sauce like Aardvark (smoky) or Ancho & Morita (sweet raisin/tamarind) Thanks Chico's for the fast take-out prep time, delicious and cheap pizzas, and decent sides!
