We ran three blocks to try Hot Sauce and Panko just as they're closing for the night. Ordered the Chris's (8/10) and KFC (7/10). Oh man, Chris's was so good, loved the hot honey and the crispy wings. Service was fast, waited around 10 minutes for our orders. Next time, I want to try Ledroooo's lemon pepper and ultra waffle sandwich!

Came to try some of the best wings in San Francisco, and they weren't bad. We got satay and the sauce was nice, the chicken was warm and juicy they just weren't crispy at all. We also tried their fish and chips for $11, a steal in the city. The panko crust was pretty thick and heavy. The fish inside was kind of mushy from how long each piece needed to be fried, but it was hot, crispy, and great value for the size and price. The tartar sauce was nice, there was wasabi in it which surprised me in a good way. My favorite item here was surprisingly the tempura battered potato wedges. They were crispy but soft inside. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I'd go again if I was in the area, but there is no seating so takeout is best.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

These looked so good in pics I had to try it! We door-dashed it as it is a to-go place. Wings were $8 for 6 wings of each flavor so price was reasonable. 1. Fire wings (Buldak) 2. Mango habanero 3. Panko The fire wings were my favorite, they were soo spicy yet flavorful, def keep water by your side before starting to have them! I'd say mango habanero was really good too, I think best way to describe it is it tasted exactly like Wingstop, which has a perfect balance of sweet and spicy. I was really thrown off by the panko wings since I usually don't like dry wings but they were so crispy and the panko sauce with them was the perfect compliment. Definitely coming back here to try more flavors!

Takeout spot only that does fried chicken right!! - panko fried chicken sandwich (5/5) : the chicken was crispy and juicy! Coleslaw was the right amount as well as pickles. Perfect ratio of things - chris' wings : chicken wings were juicy and fried well! The flavor i chose was a little bit too honey forward - i would opt for a different flavor next time!

I wanted to see what the hype was all about so came here right after having lunch! Couldn't believe that there was a line forming right in front of the restaurant on a Sunday at 1pm. I soon realized that the line was for those to pick up their orders. There is a sign posted to order by scanning the QR code. The website was easy to navigate but waiting for my order was a bit of a headache since you have to stand right by the door (with the crowd) to hear them call your name. I ordered two different types of wings - Panko Wings and Soy Garlic Wings since they were the most popular ones. The soy garlic was sticky with a nice coating, but the meat had no flavor. I did enjoy the panko since it was nice and crispy. The sauce that was given did make it taste better. I'm glad that I was able to finally check this spot off my list. Curious about the taste of the other wings if I ever come back. The wings are definitely on the pricier side given that it was almost $20 for 10 wings.

The waffle and Chris's wings were cooked nicely and yummy. The potato wedges were okay. Wait times can take up to 20-25 minutes even though there were only three people ahead of me. It's best to call or go online to place a pick-up order. Decent customer service. Street parking only. [[HIGHLIGHT]]No indoor or outdoor dining.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

2 orders: KFC (Korean Wings) on the left. Soy Garlic Wings on the right.

I finally checked out this tiny place after seeing a small crowd outside this spot many times during the weekend lunch hour. I now understand why! There are only 5 wings per order ($7.89+ tax), so you'll want at least two orders. The KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) wings and Soy Garlic wings are equally excellent. Note however that these chicken wings aren't the OG, jumbo, double-fried kind that you would get at a Korean establishment. Quick service (if there isn't a line). Takeout only. You can order at the window or pre-order on their website. If you order in person, they give you a small buzzer to notify you when your order is ready. Credit card/ApplePay and cash payment are accepted. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. [[HIGHLIGHT]]No seating or bathroom nearby, so take these home or somewhere where you can wash up afterwards.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Service 5/5: sweet workers, can see them working diligently through the window Fries 2.5/5: crispy outside, soft inside, nothing special Panko 5/5: amazing crunch, great subtle flavor, sauce elevated dish GBP Hot 4/5: strong garlic flavor (which I enjoyed), bacon and parm came at the end Jerk 4/5: subtle flavor, sweeter than expected, liked the more I ate Chili crunch 3/5: needed to be spicier

I've been wanting to go this place for awhile now and now I finally had the time to try it! I went here around 2pm on a Friday and there was no wait. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a small restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Anyways, I ordered the Garlic Bacon Parm Wings and Chicken Parmesan Sandwich. I liked the flavors of both items, but some items could've had more sauce since the sandwich felt dry. I was also disappointed in the size of the wings. It seems a little too pricey to buy 5 small wings for the price I paid for. The wings did taste very good and I was able to taste the bacon parmesan flavor it has though! I'd recommend this place if you like flavorful wings even though their wings are on the smaller side.

Yummy, a to go spot only, no dine-in available. The panko burger is delicious and solid size for a meal. Order a panko sandwich($8.79) and 5 piece chicken wings ($7.89). A slight line/wait on the sidewalk during lunch. If you order through QR code, wait 10 minutes and head to window to ask for order. [[HIGHLIGHT]]A hole in the wall spot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The chicken sandwich was crunchy and juicy, has a few cucumbers and slaw which compliments well with the sandwich. The lemon pepper wings (wet) were flighty spicier. So next time, trying them dry might be better. Overall, items were large and delicious for the values,

I got the Lemon pepper buffalo sauce just to try something new and it was decent. I just think it was too tangy and acidic for me. It would be good with some honey drizzle to balance it out. The wings for regular sized and not too crispy. It was sauce very well and came out pretty quick. I would come back and try other flavors.

Cheap and quick food! I ordered at the window and was served my to-go food around 10 minutes later. I ordered their 5 piece chicken wings (Lemon Pepper Hot) and tempura wedge fries. Both came out to around $13. The fries were piping hot, crisp, and flavorful. The wings? Idk...I ate the wings 10 minutes after they served it to me and it wasn't CRISPY??? I was shocked. I know it's coated in sauce but I've had crisper saucy wings before. Maybe I need to come back. The flavor was good though!

I ordered their Panko Fried Chicken Sandwich online and it was ready in about 15 minutes. In general, it's a good price point where after tax it was still under $10. It's a hefty sandwich and you get a large piece of chicken. The breading is crispy and there are many pickles. I found the chicken to be a bit dry, and although I ordered the HOT version, I didn't get any kick from it. There was also a hint of a spice (maybe nutmeg) that I personally was not a fan of.

    No its not.

Is it a good wing spot?

Hello locals and visitors! If you're in the area, this place is a MUST-TRY!…read more It has that small, family-owned, hole-in-the-wall feel--and sometimes those are the places with the best food! The gentleman at the register was nice and welcoming. They have a great variety of food to choose from, including sandwiches, burgers, spaghetti, pizza, wings, and more. This was hands down the BEST food we had during our 4-day visit to San Francisco! I especially want to give a huge shout-out to the cook, Victor! You may think, "It's just pizza and wings," but NO--Victor made everything to perfection! The wings were cooked well done, just how we like them, with the perfect crispy texture. The pizza was delicious too! I only wish we had found this place on our first day. We ended up having dinner here on the last two nights of our vacation because we loved it that much! They also offer a 3% discount if you pay with cash. We paid around $35 for a small pizza (6 slices) 10 wings, and a drink. It was more than enough food for two people, and we even had leftover pizza. if you buy 1 slice of pizza the slices are pretty big. Other places we were spending almost $50 for two people each meal. I truly hope this place stays in business for many years to come. Great food, friendly service, good portions, and reasonable prices.
