Outfitting some church ladies in some wonderful ensembles! Some of the outfits this year were just jaw dropping! I'm heading over to take a look after meeting with Atzaira after the luncheon. She was so funny introducing the models describing what they are wearing and encouraging our ladies to have fun and enjoy their appearance and how beautiful they look! The decor is cute and customer service is fine. Definitely went in assuming this is a boutique with higher quality clothing. Most if not all of the clothing is very cheap quality and made in China from wholesalers. I saw a few pieces that seemed a tad better quality. The store is curated with the boutique look, but it is fast fashion similar to forever 21 quality clothing at significantly higher prices. I also saw some makeup products that I have seen sold at Marshall's and Ross. I tried something on straight out of packaging in the back and it was stained. Just be aware what you are buying if you check it out. There also are no refunds.

Wendy always helps me when I'm there and picks out the cutest stuff for my kids, who go nuts for all the stuffed animals. Half the time we leave and they talk more about how great Wendy is and how they want to go back just to hang out with her in the store than about all the toys they just got. Even if you aren't staying at Terranea, make sure you shop around Marea. They will sometimes still have limited edition Jellycats that you can't get online! Same with Mon Ami. I walked around the small boutique for approximately 15 minutes and not once did either of them greet any of their customers or ask if anyone needed assistance. I purposely walked up to the counter where they were standing to see if they would acknowledge me and they still both ignored me, even inches away from their faces. Rude, unprofessional and lazy. I order three items online, and I planned on returning two of them that did not fit to the store (instead of just mailing them back), because I figured it would force me to go there because I wanted to do some shopping for spring clothes. Well, life got crazy with youngest getting ready to graduate, and I missed the return policy by TWO DAYS. When I went to store (way out of my way), they said they couldn't help as it was beyond their authorization abilities, but I should contact customer service and they should be able to help me. The friendly gentleman I spoke to said he would have to check with another associate and even commented on this being my first occurrence of asking for such an exception. THEN, he came back and said that associate said they couldn't do anything to help me.....nothing. So, now I have two items valued at $160 that I cannot wear, and I guess I will just donate them to a worthy cause. Someone is going to make out well with my donation, so I guess that is some consolation for me, but White House lost a loyal customer. And for the record, it really takes A LOT to make me write a bad review. More than being made, I'm just really sad to have to end this relationship. Bummer.
