The only cleaners I go to! They truly try their best to make sure all their customers are 100% satisfied. I got wine all over a Kate Spade dress and they called to keep me posted that they will need to clean the dress a couple more times to get the stain out. Great place for alterations. I took my bridesmaid dress here for alterations and they did a good job. I had gone somewhere else for a quote for the same job, that place charged me 2x the price. I really appreciate good service and reasonable prices. The dress was really expensive and chiffon fabric was delicate, so I was worried about how they were going to fix it. This cleaners is one of the best I've been to. My friend spilled red wine on my tuxedo shirt during my wedding and someone spilled red wine on my wife's wedding bath robe. I surely thought these two pieces would have to be thrown away. We were obviously busy with our wedding affairs and left the stained clothes sitting for about 2 weeks. Keep in mind these were very large spills. A few days after dropping the items off, we retrieved our clothes back and they look brand new. 2 day dry cleaning dress: $6 sport coat: $5.50 I've always had a great experience with this place. Dry cleaning is done in 2 days. One time I had spilled some juice on a white top and they offered to do another session for free. I have never experience that kind of service. The prices are very reasonable. It was a week before my friends' wedding and my bridesmaid's dress did not fit! I was desperate but Mei was super helpful and assured me she could make it work. She added a whole panel to the back with a tie up back. She had it done in less than a week so we could make sure it fit. I was blown away by how great it look and how little they charged. I go there every so often and they are okay. Nothing to really rave about. The reason they're getting two stars is because I went and dropped off a coat that costed me $250 I got it back two sizes smaller. I don't know what they did, but they shrunk it and I couldn't wear it anymore. read more

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars! This morning I was helping my sister put on a dress that she would be wearing for a sweet 16 (that of course she was coming out in!) It was half an hour before her ride came to get her and her side zipper completely broke in half! Half the zipper in her dress the other half in my hand! After 5 mins of trying to figure out what options we even had I hurried and got on yelp luckily chief cleaners was at the top of the list I called and spoke with mei which told me that she was extremely busy and I would expect atleast an hour wait. To not waste any time I drove to her but on the way I tried 2 other nearby places, also good reviews, but none could accommodate this emergency! As soon as I got to chief cleaners they received my dress, were extremely friendly, and got all my info and told me to call back in 20 mins. If it was not replaceable we would just have to sew the zipper on while my sister was in her dress. I was fine with that knowing that she would never wear this specific dress again. So, I left to a nearby ATM, as THEY ONLY TAKE CASH, and before I was even on my way back mei called me and asked me to come back quickly. When I got there she greeted me with a smile and the dress in dry cleaners bag with hanger and told me, "ALL READY!" She even sewed up the back of the dress where she noticed was starting to rip up. I was beyond thankful for her and her hospitality and how quickly and perfectly she had done this and how fast she replaced the zipper (all under 30 mins). I couldn't say it enough!! Thank you! If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. There is no such thing as customer service at this place. They had ruined a piece of my clothing and expected me to pay more to fix it, can you believe that? I politely indicated that it was their responsibility to handle items with care from the get go but instead she was very defensive and kept saying we can't guarantee anything. The previous lady even indicated they had not touched the piece of clothing when clearly they did and messed up the whole top. Subsequent to that another lady admitted they had touched it. They even have a sign that says "we are not responsible for any damage on items that have been left here more than 30 days". Why would items be damaged? Do not trust this place if you care about your clothing. Plenty of other dry cleaners in Alhambra and worth paying more to avoid the hassle of this place. read more

I do have to admit that they do a pretty good job and cleaning your clothes. My main complaint though is that they fail to tell you that if you're going to use your ATM debit or credit card its got to be a $10 minimum. I asked them if they can just charge me a bit extra for me to use my ATM and they say no. They automatically send you to the bank to get cash. Long story short my 2 items was $6.75 and ended up paying aditional of $3.50(half of my fee) in using a bank that wasn't mine on fees. FYI you don't want to pay extra make sure that your things are more than $10 there are no signs anywhere letting the customers know. I did let the workers know but it would be good to have a sign. read more

I brought 1 bridesmaids dress and 1 wool coat to be dry-cleaned here. There were several problems: 1. The decorative flower was misplaced. They eventually put it back to the right spot on the dress after I went back. They did not comp me for their mistakes or my trouble. 2. I brought a wool coat but they charged me the cost for dry-cleaning a down coat (double the cost). They deserve 0 star. The lady/owner was just trying to get my money. read more

This is the only place I go to for dry cleaning. Never been disappointed. They're always on time, and my clothes are always clean and not ruined. The most I've spent there is 10 mins, I've always had a fast service. They're never late either. Everytime I pick up my clothes, they're ready. I unfortunately cannot say anything about their tailoring, but will definitely go to them if I need to. I just love how I can go in and out in a few minutes, and be on my way. I came here for alterations on my coat and pants. Upon walking in, I already heard one lady screaming at another lady in the back about something. May came out and quoted the price of half the prices that I paid for my coat and pants for alterations. When I came back to pick it up, she claimed that they had to cut on the two sides of the coat to fix it. That is not true, they only cut the bottom and she told me the sides so that it seemed harder and asked for more than what it should have been!! My coat is not even now because they decided to cut one side of the bottom to fix it and she claimed that I was the one that made it not even because I washed it with water before. They made sure that all the alterations were 100% to my liking. I told them I purchased my tux too late and that I needed a rush job and they were more then willing to help me out. I went to chief cleaners to get a Halloween costume altered last month and they did amazing work! It was ready in 3 days time which I found very quick and convenient, I don't remember how much I paid but I do remember it was affordable. I also went in a week after than to have the same costume dry cleaned. I received the same great service and they even remembered me from my previous visit. I plan on taking a few work pants in to have hemmed when I get the chance. I highly recommend. Also, take cash because they do charge for debit/credit. read more

I made the mistake of bringing my silk DVF dress here. I had been here before with no problems so I thought it would be okay. I did tell her to cover the buttons before dry cleaning. When I got my dress back the same evening the buttons were dis colored. She said she covered them and pointed to the sign that states she's not responsible for buttons. Wow. I know the buttons were not covered. I asked if my Vince pants had been cleaned yet. She said no so I asked for them back. I'm not risking anything else else with this company. If you have cheap clothes then this place is most likely fine, but go elsewhere with your high quality clothes. read more

Don't let the store fool you, it may look dinky, but service is quick, friendly, and good. It was very reasonably priced! It was fifteen dollars to get the job done! When I picked up the dress the stitching was beautifully done and my dress looked brand new!
