They had a lovely live musician, I wish I would have remembered her name, she had a guitarist with her and she sang covers. Her voice was beautiful. The meals were delicious, ahi tacos perfect, salad was fresh, and the chicken was crispy and juicy with a flavorful, yet not overpowering sauce. The menu is quite small but everything we had on it was fantastic. The virgin pina colada was pretty but didn't taste like any love was put into it. I guess go with the real thing, it might turn out better. The desserts were also to die for. That is probably the best key lime pie I have ever had. Creamy and not overly tangy. It was perfect. The snickers waffles were good, interesting dessert and delightful. Service was nice and no problems with our visit. Just wish they had a few more options to choose from.

I skipped the cocktails this time, but they looked good, so that's definitely on my list for my next visit. Service was friendly and attentive throughout our meal, and parking was easy thanks to the parking structure right across from the restaurant. A couple girls ordered the carne asada, and really enjoyed that as well. I'd say the biggest miss for our group was with the drinks. One gal ordered a vodka soda with lots of lemons. She recieved a literal glass of vodka, full, with a whole bottle of sparkling water on the side. This was so odd, but we're not the type to send things back so she went with it. Another lady ordered the manhattan and the server noticed immediately that it didn't look quite right, and had that fixed. It had come with an orange slice and no vermouth originally. It was also the start of restaurant weeks in Palm Springs which participating restaurant will offer dinner deals. Sunset was one of them. A two course meal which we opted out on. I booked a last minute dinner reservation for 8pm which we ended up running a little behind but called in to informed the restaurant. The sweet lady that answered which I also believe was the hostess was very accommodating. We did arrive about 10 min later which the table wasn't ready but could grab a drink at the bar while table was arranged. As we had a friend in town, we wanted to have one of the rocking tables but they were first come first served. Our table did come up but we ended up waiting a little longer till one of the rockers opened up. Hostess was very accommodating with us in regards of the table. Very sweet on her part. Bar tab had to be close there which we couldn't transfer over to dinner. Nicholas was the doll that took care of us. Very lively and a major sweetheart. Made sure that we were taken care of throughout the whole dining experience. Very sweet and bubbly even being short staffed. He made sure all this tables were accounted for. We didn't utilize the pre fix meal as what we wanted wasn't part of it. Started off an order of the aguachile which was a favorite last time and an order of the coconut jumbo shrimp. The flavors with both shrimp dish, very tasty in their own way. Coconut shrimp had a nice crunch and served with two dipping sauce. Aguachile, the lime marinade with jumbo shrimps with all the trimming was excellent. That was served with tortilla chips and a side of crackers. A good way to start. Also warm rolls with butter were also brought out. Entrees, one of us ended up full from the starter so an order of the pan seared dabs filet served with carrots and green beans and mashed potatoes. It was served over lemon capers sauce with three filet. Very tasty and light. Lastly, I had to go with the ciopinno as last time. A nice big hearty bowl at seafood. Big jumbo shrimp, mussels, clams and fish in a rich tomatoes broth. For an additional fee I added pasta to it. Totally worth it. Even though it was hot out, it was perfect. Too full for dessert as alway. This service experience was a major success. Service was great last time but the whole food situation was a fail. But tonight made up for that experience. We had a nice meal with drinks from the very start with checking in, having a drink at the bar while our table was ready to the meal. Nicholas was major doll throughout the whole dining experience and made sure we were taken care of. Service like this and a nice meal goes a very long way.
