Allen at the bar took care of us making is two very well measured and well done cocktails the Tailors Sour & Mazcal speciality based off of what we told him. It's fantastic here the vibe is elegant and the energy is genuinely fun and happy. The locals make this spot happen and happy to be here and experience this. We shall be back. Thank you

Speakeasy bar with nice wall art. The music was also enjoyable. Sun-Thu I believe is all night happy hour. We also ordered the cheese and fruit plate which was perfect with our wine. Perfect for relaxing and good conversation with friends.

This perfectly moody, intimate lounge is a much needed dose of the New York sophistication I'm missing right now. Sat at the bar, tended to by professional but friendly bartenders who stay close enough to be quick about a drink refill but also quietly respect your space and privacy. It's a balance, and they get it right. I'll be making this a regular visit now that I'm a West coast resident. A perfect place to take friends visiting from...anywhere!

What a hidden gem. Open for early 5 years. Stumbled across this on a recent trip to Palm Springs. Made reservations for the next day. Great happy hour specials. Friendly staff. Great drinks. Loved the dark intimate decor. Out of all the drinks on the menu, I ordered the one they were out of! We will be back!

An unexpected find in the desert! This bar would be expected in a large metropolitan city like San Francisco or New York City, but it's surprisingly here in Palm Springs. Expertly crafted cocktails and the moody-chic interior design makes for a memorable experience. Drinks (5/5) This bar has an extensive and elevated cocktail list that are on the higher end in terms of the price point; however, each cocktail is handcrafted with a higher degree of details and skills that you cannot find in the Coachella Valley. In a previous visit, I ordered a color changing cocktail which really made a big impression on myself because this was before the color changing drink trend started going viral. In addition, if you're feeling more in the mood for a drink that is less sugary, they have a large spirit selection with numerous bottles of whiskey available. Service (4.5/5) I arrived right at opening so my experience is a bit biased because there were not that many other guests inside with me so the service was attentive and fast. The cocktails do take a little bit longer to make than usual but the drinks require more labor compared to a typical bar (definitely worth the wait still). Ambiance (5/5) This bar is more like a speakeasy because it's hidden away on a side street off of Palm Canyon. The exterior is deceiving because the windows are blacked out and the curtains hide any potential view of the interior. The interior is like a step into high end NYC bar with the posh furniture and the breathtaking illuminated centerpiece bar. The space is on the small side, but this place is meant for a more intimate experience.

A wonderful place to grab a craft cocktail. I recommend a reservation, but if you don't have one it's still worth a try to see if you can get in. The bar bites are delicious and the ambience is top notch. If you do go, be mindful to maintain that ambiance . This place has a definitive vibe and deserves all your acknowledgment. It is truly a treat.

Very cool sister concept to Sandfish. We stopped by Tailor Shop after Bootlegger, and it didn't disappoint. Cozy vibe and a great spot for craft cocktails and apps. This is a place where you feel comfortable ordering a bartender's choice.

If you can't get a reservation, bar seats are first come, first served, and I can see why people line up for them. This was probably the most expensive meal of our trip, and at times you definitely feel it. A Belvedere martini with no vermouth for $27 made me laugh a little. This isn't Vegas. That said, much of the food was excellent. The Duck Liver Pâté was incredible, and the Red Thai Curry Mussels were unique without overwhelming heat. The Cacio e Pepe was one of the standout dishes of the week. Those thick noodles were fantastic. We also ordered the Steak Frites and upgraded to filet. Unfortunately, it came out overcooked, and I asked for it to be removed from the check. On the other hand, the Smoked Bone-In Duroc Pork Chop was perfectly prepared and incredibly moist. Dessert finished strong. The Aniston's Pavlova was excellent, especially the Chantilly cream. The warm chocolate chip cookies were delicious too, although $15 for cookies is definitely a Palm Springs moment. Pricey? Very. Worth experiencing? Absolutely.

While we were seated, The hostess went back and forth from checkin area and the dinning room. She looked panicked and kept talking to different staff members while we waited. Finally she said to come with her to our seat. It was now 8:40pm. She took use to a corner booth that was very small. I couldn't fit in it and my guest who's a size 34 had a hard time sitting in his seat. So they said to just wait there for now. So we was left standing in the walk way to the outdoor patio area. It was very uncomfortable to be standing there, while they tried to figure out seating. We stood there for just over 5mins. Then she said the only thing they had was a high top in the other corner. I said no to that, so they left us standing again for another 5 mins. Finally they sat us down at a table, right next to where we were standing. It had very low lighting, it was so dark we had to use our cell phones to read the menu. My issues is why leave your guest standing in the middle of the dinning room in a walk way for so long. then rush you to place your full order at one time. The kitchen must have been closing up. Now, the food and drinks. The Pork Chip was excellent and the Mussels were too. The Steak was very small dried out and over cooked. The Onion Tart was cold and soggy. The cocktails were great. Only issue we had, was the price of a shot of gin. My guest wanted to try it. We were charged $18. for it. My cocktail with the same gin was $21. This was a Birthday dinner for my guest. I would've thought they would have given him a desert like they did to the others that night, but I was wrong. Over all the evening was an uncomfortable $240. that I wish I wouldn't have done. There are many other fine dinning restaurants that offer better service and food for what we experienced. I don't know what happened, but I'Il be sharing my experience with others.

Neil was welcoming, accommodating, and personally secured a table for our party of six when we returned after 9pm. His hospitality and the venue concept itself are excellent. Unfortunately, the service we received afterward from another staff member, Billy, did not match that standard. The venue is extremely dark, so we used the small table lamp to read the menu. Billy instructed us not to use it because it "wasn't the vibe of the establishment," and told us to use our phone lights instead. The tone was abrupt and dismissive. Around 9:50pm he announced last call. When one guest ordered, his response was, "I guess if you must." Others asked for a moment to decide and were repeatedly rushed. We explained we weren't aware they closed as 10, as Neil had told us it would be open seating after 10. He replied, "Yeah, well I'm closing tonight and I'm closing at 10." When drinks were delivered, they were set down forcefully. As we were leaving, a member of our group overheard Billy speaking negatively about us to another employee, including mocking someone in our group for needing glasses to read the menu and implying she was intoxicated (she wasn't). When this was addressed directly, he did not apologize and instead insisted we had overstayed, which is inaccurate. We ordered promptly after being told last call and left after finishing our drinks. We are locals who intentionally brought out-of-town guests here because we wanted them to have a great experience. It's disappointing that one staff member's conduct overshadowed what should have been a highlight of their visit. I won't assign motives, but I will note that Billy's demeanor noticeably shifted after the final member of our group, who happens to be Black, arrived. I cannot determine why, only that the change in tone was clear. Neil has created something special here. However, a venue's reputation ultimately depends on how guests are treated when ownership is not present. Based on this visit, there is a significant gap between the hospitality the owner provides and the service delivered in his absence. I hope Neil takes a close look at what happens when he's not present, because with the right staff, this could easily be a place we'd want to return to.

We happened to be a bit early since he had not been able to finish setting up shop yet. We went ahead and waited until he was ready without rushing him because we ourselves weren't in any rush at all. Surrounded by a ton of nice interesting artwork, it was a pure joy to enjoy a drink or two in this environment.
