Ordered the asada burrito with green sauce, the overall lacked flavor. No salt or seasoning. I got a piece of meat that taste off. My boyfriend got the asada nachos same issue. I enjoy Chile Verde. The authentic Mexican cuisine with a touch of Americanism is the perfect combination. The menu has everything you want. I enjoy hard shell tacos, and they have them. Soft taco is for the likes of lazy and easy. The crunch of hard shell is bold and terrific. The dishes came out and the ground beef tacos were fantastic. First time here and on a Monday so no taco Tuesday specials or anything like that.. just wanted to try the crunchy chicken tacos. Pretty darn good if you ask me...classic crunchy shell with well seasoned chicken inside, lettuce and cheese. Just because I was curious I ordered rolled tacos too which come3 to an order.. these were good as well. One thing I noticed is that all the restaurants in this parking lots get really low scores... if Waba, Subway, Starbucks and this place all get low ratings it makes me think it's the customers and not the restaurants... this was a definite good experience for me and I will be back... probably this week. read more

Food was not good, drinks were horrible. Got the pork Friday special which the green sauce was awful the beans were good, rice was good, meat was not good, sauce not good, just was not good. Barely gave me any chips to go with my 18$ meal. Crazy! Still ate it because I hate wasting food. the servers were nice and such greeted me and everything. Plenty of space to sit down. Time arrived : 11am on a weekday Crowd: minimal. I've been here around lunch so it will be a longer wait around then as this is one of only a handful of eateries in this large center. Service: fast! The person at the register was very nice and prompt The food was good. Its a chain restaurant so there isn't too much to say but the tacos were crispy and packed fine Inside is clean and there is plenty of seating outside. Plenty of parking. Great place to visit...well I'm not too sure about this one but one things for sure the customer service was on point. Here's the catch...they now serve Al Pastor and Street Tacos...WAIT...you said Street Tacos....oh let me get two with Carne Asada add cheese PLEASE...you've got make it CheeZ for me. Down side it ain't easy to make it CheeZ? The added fee for cheese was $1.98; only to see specks of cheese on my two tacos. You've got to be shamed to even do someone like that...the specks of cheese should've been complimentary because ain't no way the charge should've been $1.98. I mean I could've stopped at the local store to grab a bag for that. Totally disappointed in the price as well as the amount provided. There's more cheese on the crunchy chicken taco. Not to mention the price of the street taco is $2.00 so the cost of the cheese on two tacos is equivalent to the price street taco. Sheesh! Y'all ripping people off. I'll give credit where credit is due; the taco didn't lack flavor but they were slacking and lacking with the cheese. Their food is good, service is good but they just started using new (white) foam plates in lieu of the black ones. The difference is smaller portions of the rice & beans because the food wells are about 25% shallower. It's possible that the main entre' (2 beef enchiladas in my case) could be reduced in size. The girl working the store said that "The state required the change" which isn't true because the material is exactly the same as the black plate. She acted surprised when I complained. This, and they increased the price $1.00 which she denied.... I know because I buy the same meal every week. Anyway, I don't think it was fair to reduce the portions.... raising the price wasn't really a part of my complaint but, to do both isn't fair. "Chili Verde" is a small restaurant chain with about 14 locations in the Los Angeles area, with an emphasis on the South Bay. I don't know how many stores are company owned; but I suspect a number of these locations are franchises. I think my previous statement is important because this location--"Chili Verde #4", is the location I visit most often. It set and maintains my brand expectations. During the time that I have patronized this store, I have also seen a number of other Chili Verde locations open--and close. The reason those other stores closed is simple: the food and service was not as good as this store. Chili Verde isn't generic Mexican food. When done right, it has a unique taste profile which I enjoy. Referring to this store in particular, the meals here have always been consistent in terms of taste, texture, presentation--and service. Normally, I would rate this restaurant a "solid 4". But I'll give it a "5" because I consider this a flagship store. It sets the standard by which I judge other shops in the chain. read more

Chile Verde is a staple for my family. It's good, it's not expensive, and everything tastes fresh and pretty authentic. I recently discovered their veggie bowl, which I have ordered about 5 times in the last three weeks! Our go-to is usually the hard shell tacos. The shredded chicken is my family's favorite, but I don't eat chicken much anymore, so I switched to the shrimp or fish tacos, which are soft tacos, but they are delicious. The salsa is fresh made and tasty and the wait staff is usually pretty friendly. I go to the Carson and Inglewood restaurants most frequently, but I find that the food doesn't differ much no matter which location you choose. read more

One thing that I have found at all the Chile Verde locations I've tried is that the staff is always very friendly, prices are reasonable and unlike many other chains the food is always consistent. They have the same menu items at each location and so far I have never been disappointed. This location is a little small on the inside and there is limited seating, there Are some table outside if it's a nice day. Usually food is alright but today the carnitas torta was horrible. Carnitas were hard and pink inside. Chopped into blocks I thought it was asada at first. Took it out and only ate the bread with beans, avocado but my stomach feels bad after. Tortilla soup was good. Overpriced for sure tho. Update: called and spoke to manager.
