Food was amazing, and flavorful, the restaurant had seemed to recently expanded and is now a good place to sit and watch a game. Start off with location, I've always liked this spot because it's lowkey and it's not as crowded, as we walked in I did notice they did an expansion to the place. Now they have a bar area and new booths. After deciding where to sit we chose the new side, FYI if it's a hot day do your self a favor and sit on the new side for some reason AC is blasting on that side. Our waiter was very nice, she had drinks on table in less then 5 minuets and had our food order in quick. We order guacamole for appetizer and it was a good portion for the $ I ordered the coasts Azul plate and it's always my kids got chicken nuggets with fries and the Wife ordered 1 ceviche tostada plate, this is where it got interesting. We used to come here a lot before we had kids we used to love coming just for the ceviche because there portions were fair for the price. So this new portion I swear it's like it was carefully measured. They changed up the flavor on the ceviche and it's good has a little kick to it of and I would also add that I don't want to discourage people in trying it go for it by all means because it is good. Whenever I'm sick I really enjoy their caldos. Their rice is the star of the show sooo much flavor. The tortillas and salsa provided are delicious as well. I am so glad I found this place! It's a small chain with fresh and tasty Mexican food and drinks. The happy hour is Monday-Friday and has some great eats and drinks. The portions are great and the food is made fresh to order. Even the chips were fresh and warm, and it didn't taste like they were sitting in a hot lamp all day. The fish tacos were super good, lightly battered, crispy and packed with flavor. I really liked the smokey chipotle sauce that came with the tacos, it was creamy, tangy and had a little kick. My wife got the asada wet burrito, and it was the size of my forearm! We also got the queso fundido that I forgot to snap a pic of, but it was the best queso I've had! Super cheesy, packed with chorizo and topped with sautéed onions and green peppers. It also came with a side of tortillas and a molcajete style salsa that was super good. This use to be our go to spot but definitely the experience and food have gone down the last two times we went. Food is okay but for the old happy hour prices it was worth it. However, happy hour prices have gone up and the hh dishes are starting at $14. We went on a Monday night after work and were unaware that they weren't honoring the happy hour prices until after we received our drinks and were ready to order the food. The happy hour menu was still on the table and we should have been told they weren't doing happy hour when we were sat. The food was bland and service was okay. I've been to the one on Anaheim long ago, but as a group outing with friends, we went to the newest one on Pine and 11th. For dinner, I had to Tacos Dorados with shredded beef soaked in a sauce of some kind. I made it a combo with beans, rice, and a bed of shredded lettuce. My girlfriend got the steak soft taco combination and enjoyed it. She was hoping to get an equal amount of rice and beans, but there were more beans. Both sides were really good and the chips they make fresh can take care of the excess beans. I truly enjoyed everything and cant wait to come back. They have parking on the northwest corner across the street so get there early enough and navigate well. read more

I had to use self control to not get full on the chips and salsa My husband and I got the same thing A mole cheese enchilada and a crunchy shredded beef taco with rice and beans.. Came here for dinner after a conference, was not packed and got seated right away. It was a small restaurant and there was a small lot that we parked at that was like 3-5 minute walk away. The workers were friendly and patient. There were chips and salsa given as well. It was my first time trying the molcajete and it did not disappoint! I went here last night (Saturday night 8/2/25) with my girlfriend. The service was extremely horrible I was very surprised how bad the service was due to how many good reviews this place has. There were only 2 waitresses in the whole place and service was some of the slowest service I have had. I only got 1 refill of my water after having to ask first to for the refill. No one also came to check on me or my girlfriend and make sure everything was good. The restaurant needs to not be cheap and hire more waitresses so the service can be better.
