    Aguachiles

Delicious !!!! I was introduced to this place in 2021. I don't like fish.... But I loved their OG fish tacos. We still come here to eat the OG fish tacos. And the hubby loves their aguachiles. They get very busy. Customer services isn't the best because they are always super busy but the food is great.

An abundance of sauces! Love it!

I went here a few years ago with 1 of my cousins because he highly recommended it. It's located in an oldschool strip mall in Torrance across from Harbor General Hospital, right next to what used to be the old Thrifty, which is now a Rite Aid and what used to be Pic N' Save back in the days. Soooooo many memories just being around this area! Inside Miches, it reminds me of like a brighter version of Islands with a surf and turf Hawaiian vibe all around, minus any kind of ocean nearby and what-not. This used to be a sub-par Filipino restaurant that I gave bipolar ratings to back in the days, but apparently, this Miches is surviving way more because of the better food and service. My cousin recommended that I try their fish burritos because that's what they are known for, so I got one. It's a damn good, fulfilling size (that's what she said) and it satisfied my taste buds without even tasting all oily and fatty. Also, I dig that they give you a good selection of random sauces! This place makes me want to wear shorts and slides/slippers every time I go because of the cool island decor. I haven't been back in a while, but I still eventually want to come back and try the other stuff on their menu.

Delicious tacos that I ordered to go. I would return and try other tacos. Today I tried the grilled shrimp and grilled mahi mahi taco. They give two sauces on the side; one habanero and one green sauce.

Surf & Turf Nachos with chicken $15.95

We came here recently and it was very packed and a bit hectic, with minimal seating, so if you're coming with a larger family it might be best to order to go if you live nearby. We tried the surf and turf nachos with chicken and shrimp, the OG battered shrimp tacos, OG battered fish tacos, and a side of beans & rice. The nachos were decent -- the flavor was there, but the chips were extremely greasy. Unfortunately, the shrimp wasn't cleaned and still had the vein, which was a big turn-off. The fried shrimp and fish were also lacking flavor and mostly just tasted fried rather than seasoned. Another small issue was that there was no ice for the fountain drinks, and the staff didn't seem aware of it at first. To their credit, a staff member did help and filled our cups when we asked, which we appreciated. Overall, the food was okay, but between the crowding and some quality issues, it didn't fully hit the mark for us.

Food is delicious!! Super fresh fish and served in abundance!! Service excellent and oh my oh my the margaritas were very good!! Why did. Wait so long to try it?!! I'll be back with a crowd!!

OG fish tacos too much baggage can barely see fish

The customer service was awful. There was a long line of people and the cashier was not attentive to that. She didn't know what to recommend. She was not welcoming and seemed bothered to take our order. Then we asked for plain tacos (something we mentioned a few times) for our small child and she didn't get the order right. We ordered a few dishes like fish ceviche, seafood cocktail, fish tacos, shrimp ceviche, birria ramen. I would recommend to order the OG fish tacos but the fish strip might be small, so go on their specials day for it to be worth it. I enjoyed the fish ceviche because it was not spicy. The shrimp ceviche was not the best since they put sauces that overpower the shrimp taste. The seafood cocktail was bland and had to add their table sauces to rectify the taste. The birria ramen was good and I would order it again as well as the fish tacos. The restaurant had good vibes. The benches are too high. What I liked is that they have pictures of the food to see what looks appetizing to order.

Mango Michelada- super delicious and refreshing, five stars! Fried fish and fried shrimp tacos - 2 stars, that tortilla was good, the cabbage was good, the sauce was tasty, but both the shrimp and the fish have that over fried with old oil flavor The service was fairly quick and friendly . The restaurant is dirty. In general, tables are dirty. Trash was on the ground by the trashcan, the toilet toilets were dirty trash on the floor in the bathroom. It's hard to go back to try other things when it's just so dirty. .

Love the variety of items in the menu. The restaurant is also decorated well. It's better to eat the food fresh here because when we orders to go, even after putting the toppings on the side the batter of the fish did not hold up. It still got soft and soggy. I had to re toast it in the air fryer. I believe they have taco special days as well.

    Fish taco and shrimp tacos

Fun little spot that mimics some of those small hole in the wall taco places. Bright, vivid colors and music. Order at the counter and pick it up. Fish tacos and shrimp tacos- I got "og" battered l, so good. Two diffferent sauces, both were awesome. I'll need to come back and try more from the menu. My only draw back was that the PA was super loud calling numbers, but that's ok.

Loving this place. Tacos are very delicious! This taco place is amazing! The food is fresh, flavorful, and made with real care. The tacos are packed with delicious fillings, and the tortillas taste homemade. I especially loved the carne asada--it was juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned. The salsa was fresh with just the right amount of spice. The staff are super friendly and the service is fast, even during busy hours. The place has a cozy vibe, and everything tastes like authentic Mexican street food. Definitely one of my favorite spots for tacos--I'll be coming back for sure!

    Fish tacos lacking crema

My husband and I thought we would try a new fish taco place and found this one near my daughters jujitsu class. When I arrived to pick up the order, there was no curbside pickup because either the phone line was busy or no one picked up. I received the order, I asked if there was salsa and Crema in the bag, the guy at the register said it was with the order. I went to the car to check the order and there was no Crema. I had to go back inside and told the guy that there was no Crema on the tacos and he hands me one. I told him you're giving me one Crema for three people and he says to me he will give me more for $1.50. On their Instagram, they advertise that the Crema is already on the tacos. So why should I have to pay for something that they advertise they already put on their tacos? Their Instagram is all for show. You will not get your order the way that you see in the photos. I personally would not recommend this place and definitely will not be returning. Service is terrible and the tacos don't even make up for that.

Pricing was pretty fair for good sea food.
    Andrew K.

Came in for dinner after discovering this place on instagram. The food looked really good so we had to give it a try. Place has a very beach vibe and pretty chill inside. Lots of pictures of the food and nice decor. The food was delicious. We ordered a few things and everything was very good. Pricing was fair. There were only a few open tables and they were all dirty. They were also out of drink lids. This place would definitely be 5 stars if they just paid a little more attention to cleanliness. Maybe it was a busy night and they could have been short staffed. I would definitely recommend this place if you're in the mood for good seafood and a beer. Will be coming back soon.

The food here is really good. They do a very good job of not only sourcing high quality ingredients, but preparing each dish with a very nice presentation. In terms of atmosphere, this is a large restaurant. They have numerous interior tables, as well as some exterior tables, as well. They also have a very nice bar area. Their seating is all very well spaced so you never feel like you're sitting too close to any other customer. This gives you the space to feel comfortable having conversations with whomever you're with. On certain night in the evening, they actually bring in a band. Not your traditional mariachi band or anything like that. But, a band that performs some really interesting takes on both traditional and modern Latin music. The staff here are all super nice. They're happy to help you out with whatever you need. And, they do a really good job doing their job. One thing to know about this restaurant is that they're currently offering Sunday brunch beginning at 9:00 AM. I know the sign outside says that the brunch doesn't begin till 11:00 AM. The enchilada's corn tortilla is wrapped around my favorite filling, tender and juicy carnitas. My favorite mole is the Mole Negro, black as the nighttime sky with a deep smoky and sweet flavors. The dry chilies, sesame seeds, nuts, Oaxacan chocolate, and herbs provide a velvety sauce for the chicken picadillo. The darkly hued Mole Coloraditos has a little bit of a spicy kick from its toasted chilies, nuts, sesame seeds, chocolate, tomatoes, and spices. It's hard not to use the shredded beef enchilada to swab the plate clean. I would seriously lick the plate clean if I was at home. OK, the last one isn't a mole. The Salsa Verde is tangy from its tomatillos, green chilies, onions and garlic. The crumbly chorizo and cheese enchilada is comforting.
