99 Ranch on steroids…read more I absolutely love this place. It's so much more than just a supermarket and I could easily spend way too much time wandering around here. The produce section is great, there are tons of Asian snacks, sauces, drinks and pantry staples, and then you somehow end up in the home goods section looking at things you didn't even know you needed. The selection is huge and there is just so much to look at. Everything is clean, organized and thoughtfully laid out, which makes the whole experience of shopping here surprisingly enjoyable. I especially love being able to find things that you don't always see at a traditional Asian supermarket. Overall, such a fun place to shop and easily one of my favorite supermarkets when I'm in the area. I could spend hours here. ***Would skip the hot food bar section, nothing to wow over***

This place can also get very crowded and parking is somewhat of a nightmare. It was tough checking the whole place out because it was already crowded by the time we got there. I just remember being overwhelmed with how much they offer - fresh food at the cafeteria/bakeries, pastries, snacks, sake/wine section, etc. Although I was surprised that some of the Filipino condiments were not being sold here. Maybe I gotta take my time when I visit next time. There's still so much to see and try.

At first glance, you see a nichè European grocery store. But it's not until you enter that you see it's much more. It is a small grocery store, minus the produce. It also has a very Eastern European vibe. At first, you think 'Russian', but in reality, it's Ukrainian. There is a shared regional heritage, but it stops there when you walk a big room, which is actually their dining room serving some yummy regional favorites. Sitting down and looking at the menu, your eyes take in all the choices. Chicken Kyiv, Beef Goulash, and house made mushroom soup. There was also fresh house baked bread to round out the experience. What was most appreciated was that the meal and the service were definitely homemade, and with treated with love! Do you wish a beverage with your meal? Walk back to the store and order a canned soda, or choose from one of variety of wines off the shelf - European vintages, of course. Come a little bit early, as the restaurant closes near 7 pm, but the store is ready to serve you until closing. [As of this writing, July 1, 2024, the war in Ukraine is still waging. There is lots of support for the people of Ukraine in this establishment. Feel free to ask how you can help the people in war-torn Ukraine here!]

Yay! We have a T&T in Lynnwood. We became a fan of T&T when we stayed in Vancouver. Our main…read moreattraction was the hot food buffet station since shopping here always meant, yummy food at the end. My 5 year old really enjoys many of their hot food staples. The T&T in Lynnwood doesn't disappoint at all. While it is smaller than the Factoria location, we do not personally have any complaints. The place is not always packed like the Factoria location and that is a a relief. We primarily use the food & bakery sections, live fish, and frozen food sections. One can say they are a bit pricier in comparison to places like Ranch Market who have similar options but we T&T is closer to us than Ranch Market and so we prefer to go here as it is more convenient. They are special items during Boat Festival every year and we absolutely love the bun station during this time. This is also a great place to experiment with a lot of not usually found Asian alcohol in main stream supermarkets unless you are specially going to a specialty shop.

After a few bites of food, I tossed the rest because it was so unpleasant. Orange chicken, sweet and sour pork, ribs, what could go wrong? I don't know how it goes wrong, but the food is always gristly, dry and bland. The prices do not match the flavour. Prices are high, flavour is low. In addition, I have never had a staff person say hello or thank you, rarely even an acknowledgement that I am there. During my last visit I asked a gentleman if he knew if they had a particular item and he said "what we have in the store". Oh ok, thanks.

If you like Russian packaged foods, you will love this place. I find those foods to be mostly of inferior quality, both in flavor and in how well-made they are. First time in. Good selection. They have uniquely sourced items that are from Poland, Ukraine, and neighboring countries, as well as familiar items like house made baklava. When I shop there, I mostly concentrate on their dry goods such as sauces in jars, sweets, and easy to cook foods like frozen perogies (dumplings). Amongst the sweets, the Polish Wawel Mieszanka Krakowska chocolate covered jelly candy is a welcome treat. I enjoy wafer treats, so the Roshen wafers from Ukranine is my choice. I haven't had much luck with their produce; I skip them. (FYI: The business uses the Yelp photos to post the latest produce that has arrived, which is perfectly legitimate. But because they don't delete the previous photos, the Yelp photos suggest they may have a bigger produce section than they actually have at a given time. I was confused the first time I stepped in.) The shop is located in a strip mall with plentiful parking. The space is older, which I honestly don't care as long as it is clean. I don't require much service since I only need to pay and go. For me, this store doesn't serve the deli or the produce function in its name. But I do enjoy exploring their different items and choosing something new-to-me to try. That is good enough.

I'm not sure what happened on my last visit as the curries were on the colder side. When you arrive parking can be a bit difficult, there is a small parking lot out front, if that's full you'll need to find street park. The restaurant itself feels warm, casual, and bustling. Queen you walk in you have the option to sit on the backyard patio or in the dining room. We opted to sit in the dining room as it just felt more intimate and the vibe we were wanting for dinner. For our appetizer, we started with the Samosas (Two crispy pastries filled with your choice of freshly mixed vegetables or delicately spiced lean ground beef) which were excellent. Next we ordered the garlic naan, chicken tikka masala, and butter chicken. The naan and samosas showed up piping hot but the chicken tikka masala & butter chicken were cold. I probably should have said something as I was disappointed but was too hungry to care at that moment. If I'm in the Seattle area I may stop by Taste of India again.
