The chicken was cooked just right and the peanut sauce was flavorful and delicious. The papaya salad was perfectly made and it really hit the spot. I had the chicken pad thai. The portion was generous and it was on point - one of the best pad thai I've had. My husband had the chicken masaman and it was so delicious. They also offer a selection of wine and beer. My daughter was craving sushi and I wanted some pad thai. We decided to go check out Chilli Thai just north of my house, I remembered seeing their menu offering both. When we entered the restaurant, there was a sign that says sushi only available during the weekend. We decided to order the Thai food to go. On the hunt for a Poke Bowl in the Blaine area, I decided to try Chili Thai Cuisine. They didn't have sushi available today (Tuesday) as their sushi menu is available Thursday-Sunday. I was initially bummed but then decided to try something new. I picked a couple items that sounded tasty and talked them over with the waitress. While I like the taste of spicy food, my stomach has a mind of its own and does not. So, I had to ask for no spice and she guided me to the Pad Thai. This being my first time eating Pad Thai, my assessment was that it was very tasty and something that I will get again. The service was excellent and I was thankful for the advice on what to try. I went here for the first time with my family for dinner a few days ago. We ordered a number of dishes to try. I liked the Pineapple Fried Rice and Pad Thai with chicken! The spicy chicken wings were also hot and delicious. My husband really enjoyed the cheese wontons. First off, i think it is a pretty ok place where it is located. However, the food was oka. I just wish everything wasnt so sweet. Everything we order was sweet. I at least thought the soup wasnt sweet, but it was too. The service was good. The ambiance was good. Just very quiet, not vibing. First, i want to say, if only the pad see ew was savory, it would had been good. I had to add chill oil, which made it taste way better. Recommend adding chilly oil to most of the food, it will help it so u dont only taste sweet. The green curry was good too, but it was again sweet. The beef broccoli was very delicious, but again sweet. The egg drop soup was sweet too. The thai ice tea was good, but overly sweetened. The lo mein was good, it was half and half. Love this spot for a Thai and quick Sushi fix. Located in a strip mall, there is always parking available. Ambiance is nice and clean. Those running the business are so kind and welcoming. They always go above and beyond to ask and make sure that the food and service is great. The times we've dined in - the waitress went out of her way to bring our daughters rice and potstickers to start - both of which we did not order, but she brought it out for them to have some food while we waited for our order to come. Food is always delish - here are a few of our go tos - - Pad Thai - Chicken Satay - Wontons - Sushi (decent - comparable to rolls from Grab and Go) Seems like it's family run and operated - so employee wise it is usually the same folks running and working the restaurant. When you look at strip mall sushi you may have that thought in your mind thinking "this place may be questionable" actually super cute and clean inside and the sushi is delicious. The first time I had this place it was a 10 out of 10- the green curry was flavorful while also actually being mild! I thought I'd found my place because the service was fast for take out. To my dismay, each of the two other times I've ordered their green curry selecting mild, it's been unbearably hot.... Like my boyfriend who likes spice is like "that has a kick!" after trying it. Needless to say I don't think it's worth the risk of it being hot when they say it can be mild. If they put that it only comes in hot now on their site I would be like "ok" and order something else, but nope- says mild and isn't. Their orange chicken is only ok, their wontons are great, and the deep fried shrimp roll things are delicious, but I need more than an appetizer to eat when I spend $50 on dinner. read more

Curry fried rice was really good, spring rolls were mediocre, Pad Thai was very oily sort of flavorless and needed more sauce. Their style must be a little different than most because they have very sweet dipping sauce very similar to honey and usually the sauces are dark and salty. Pork egg rolls were good, they have a strong onion flavor if you're into it. I could see them being more popular for curry dishes and sushi. read more

Pad Thai is probably my favorite dish in the food pantheon, and the chicken pad thai here is SO good that, at this point, I don't even bother ordering it when I go to another restaurant -- nothing compares to the superb version at Chili Thai Cuisine! This is a go-to place for me in Lino Lakes and has been for several years. Every time I place an order, I know my food will be exactly as delicious as I remember (and maybe even better!). The sesame chicken had no sesame on it and it was the exact same taste as the orange chicken, we compared, side by side. Unreal!! The only difference was the orange chicken, had three pieces of orange in it. Appetizers were the shrimp, over cooked and rubbery. The egg rolls were under cooked, oily, and cold in the center. I've alway enjoyed the food from Chili Thai, especially the Green Curry/ shrimp until last evening. We called and placed an order, was told it would be 1/2 hour and when we went to pick it up, we had to wait close to an additional hour. Once we got home the food was very disappointing as well. The green curry portion was cut in half and was so watery you couldn't even taste the curry plus the shrimp was so overcooked and tough we ended up discarding it. They've raised the prices and lowered the quality. They have also lost our business!!! read more

A few weeks ago my heart was broken because I heard Chili Thai was moving. Yesterday it was restored because they literally moved just blocks away from their old location. Lino Lakes has two of the state's best: Target and Thai food (Chili Thai)! After a year in Lino there is nothing that has surpassed these. The food is authentic and I love that they have vegetarian versions of almost everything. We are regulars and our go-tos are the pineapple fried rice, veggie egg rolls, and pad see ew with mock duck. Can I just say, this place is on my top list of the best Pad See Ew (large rice noodle with vegs) around the Blaine area. I'm always on a hunt for the place that can make it just right and this is the one!! The noodles were just perfect, not too hard or mushy. Sauce was nicely coated and I want more! Also got a fried rice and it was phenomenal as well. Very flavorful. Each bite was satisfying. It's not bland or overly seasoned. The third dish was the beef salad with glass noodles. It's more of a refreshing noodle dish with sweet and sour thinly sliced beef. This one was good, although I really like the first two. The only reason gave it 4 stars, was because I waited about 10 minutes for the two gentlemen behind the counter to noticed me and take my order. It was about 6pm and they were preparing other customers order as well. Which confirms how delicious their meals are. And I really wished their takeout boxes were slightly bigger . Having lived in the city we had several choices at our disposal. This was a nice find. Ordered some take out consisting of: Shrimp Pad Thai as hot as it gets. Our friend eating it went through a small stack of napkins wiping his eyes and nose, so it was pretty hot like he requested and he said it was really good. Curry Fried rice with chicken. Not a fan of curry at all, but my husband really liked it and he does like curry. Shrimp Basil Fried Rice was good and there was a lot of it. A tad greasy, but good.
