Asian express at its worst . nothing made in house. ever thing is premade from Asian express. this place over charges for microwave ready food. sad .

I didn't go out for celery!!!

Kung Pao Chicken and chicken lo mein. We want to support local businesses. I am so confused about the good reviews. As you can see by the photo, my husband's dinner was mostly celery. He didn't pay attention and doesn't like celery. That would be fine if 90 percent of this Kung Pao Chicken wasn't celery. He spent 15 minutes pulling out the everything else. No way will we be back. The fortune cookies were stale too. I am sad. My chicken lo mein was average but a good portion.

As a Chinese standard, House fried rice is really good. Singapore noodle is also tasty.

Was craving some Chinese and this place delivered (although we got takeout) good portions for a good price. Hit the spot so we'll be back!

The service was very friendly, albeit a bit slow. The pace was easily forgiven because our server definitely played along and had a lovely personality. The drinks were nice, but the food was even better. We enjoyed the brussels sprouts, baguette with honey butter and pesto butter, apple salad, the walleye, the Wagyu steak, the bison pot roast, and the New York strip. In particular, the walleye was delicious, the Budino was decadent, and the Wagyu steak was prepared perfectly.

The location is close to the lake, which makes the area feel peaceful, and parking has never been an issue, which is always a plus. We parked right next to the restaurant in the free lot. Once we were inside we were greeted by the staff. They gave us the option to sit inside, outside on the patio, or even by the water across the street where they have a nice space kind of like a patio as well but with a better view of the lake. We went with the patio, and it was a great choice. For starters, the crab cakes and spicy calamari were both excellent. My wife went with the NY strip, while I tried the special which consisted of crab legs, mashed potatoes, and three shrimp. Everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor; honestly, it felt like a party in my mouth with each bite. The only minor hiccup was waiting a bit too long for a refill on my wife's Diet Coke, but aside from that, our server Dave was attentive and made sure we were taken care of. The atmosphere is another highlight. The place is nicely decorated, has a comfortable vibe, and even the bathrooms were well-kept. Overall, the food, service, and setting all came together to make it a wonderful evening. My wife and I will definitely be back.

There were a great variety of delicious sushi, Chinese and southeast Asian dishes, enough to please everyone in your groups palette. The restaurant is really busy, we also saw lots of food order pick up's. The service was great even for our party of 10, which we called ahead and made reservations for. We had the pleasure of meeting the 2 brothers that owned the restaurant, Teng Ly who is the chef & Futchy Ly who is the sushi chef. They are really great, hard working & wonderful people! The portions are pretty big so pricing is fair. The entree's are served family style. The flavors of the food were big and on point and you will go home stuffed. We ordered a lot more entrees but the food was so delicious, I didn't get a chance to take a picture of them before they got devoured! Everything was perfect, our party was pleased. Entree: Seafood Combo ($39.95) -- Pan-fried Walleye: Seasoning coat on the Walleye is very delicate and not overpowering. I appreciate they put the almonds in the center, so you can distribute if wanted. The filet is a little small, but the taste is perfect. RECOMMENDED. -- Coconut Shrimp (4) includes a dipping "jelly sauce" with a slight horseradish kick. It's a good addition. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! -- Crab Cake: The Crab cake is about the size of a cookie, but it should include more crab and less breading fill. I found it difficult to distinguish between crab and breading. Plus, the seasoning is a tad peppery, which overpowers the crab taste. Not recommended. Side Dish: Grilled Green Beans were perfectly blistered with a delicate teriyaki coat. I could eat a plate of them! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Bread: They provide a small, hot loaf about 6" long. It has a toasted seasoning of salt, pepper, and a hint of garlic. By far, one of the best "giveaway table breads" of any restaurant. Plus, they provide a basket of butter packets! I love my butter, and I hate when places only provide 1 or 2 packets. Gordy's bread came with a basket of packets (10 packets!) Drinks: Martini ($15). A very generous pour! If I'm paying $15 for a Martini, I want more than one or two sips. This Martini, using Tito's Vodka, was probably 5 ounces or more--with choice of lemon twist, olives, or bleu-cheese stuffed olives. As a Martini connoisseur, THANK YOU!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Service: I cannot speak more highly of the Servers! They are incredible! Friendly, professional, engaging, and attentive. Plus, the Server offered to de-shell the lobster (for a table next to mine). First time I've ever heard a Server offer to do that task--and I lived in New England with many great lobster places. The Servers are FANTASTIC! Ambiance: Subdued lighting and dark tones provide an intimate and relaxing experience. Overall: I am taking away 1/2 star for the breaded Crab Cakes and another 1/2 star for 3.99% surcharge for non-cash payments. Yeah right. Who pays almost a $100 tab with cash anymore ? It's just a sneaky way to "recover from lost COVID business", and we are tired of it. Just increase menu prices to compensate for it!

Yet, the Wasabi Mayo sauce doesn't complement very well--and if you leave the mushrooms for more than 15 minutes or so, they become soft as the frying oil settles. They're good. Entree: - Steak Dinner w/ Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Garlic Bread, and choice of a side (I chose Asparagus) for $22. First, the Asparagus was thick, seasoned well, crunchy, and perfect. I could eat a plate of them! They proudly proclaim all steaks are from Creekstone Steaks Black Angus. I've never heard of them, but my medium rare 8 oz. NY Strip was chewy and a lacked some marbling which made it dry. The steak should really use a good salting and coarse ground pepper coat before cooking. The steak was cooked a minute past perfect medium rare, but close enough. Still, I NEVER use Steak Sauce, but I did add some Bulliard's Steak Sauce that was on the table. Not really impressed with the steak's pre-cook seasoning. Steak Sauce: Bulliard's Steak Sauce is similar to A1 Steak Sauce, but more Smokey and less acidic. Service: Prompt, friendly, efficient, and attentive. Great! Ambiance: It's a HUGE place with many booths, tables, and seats at the bar. The Bad: their signage outside on the building is not lit, so at night, you may miss it (it's next door to a Sushi place that does have outdoor signage that is lit. Overall: I would say the experience was middle of the road. Affordable prices, plenty of food, but nothing stellar. I may visit again and try something else--and will ABSOLUTELY order the Asparagus!
