Excellent! Ordered online. That went really well! I asked to pick up at 5PM. Got there five minutes early and it was just ready to go. The order was exactly what we ordered. The food was plentiful and very flavorful. All the ingredients seem so fresh. Mongolian beef, perfect. Egg Foo Yung was also very good. This was our third visit. Always impressed. *Two days after the first visit we realized through Find My phone app that our iPad had been left there. It was waiting safely in back until someone showed up! Hello, We have been eating here for around 5 years. I am a huge fan of the Salt and Pepper Wings!! They are soooooo yummy! You have to be a bone in chicken wing person. We recently had take-out from Mr. Sasame Chicken for the first time. We had the cream cheese won ton, the sesame chicken and the Singapore noodles. My family very much enjoyed the cream cheese won ton. My dad really enjoys chicken, so I expected that he would like the sesame chicken (and he did), but even my husband (who is not generally a fan of chicken) liked it and said it was flavorful. The chicken chow mein is as good as chow mein gets. The garlic beef has a slightly sweet taste. A good chicken fried rice that lasts for days. Yummy eggrolls with carrot threads running through. Some of the boxes have the old style wire handles that can't go in a microwave. They prefer cash but do credit cards. In the afternoon they were super fast. I called when I pulled into the lot and they brought it out about 10 minutes later. I want to try many other things in the spring. read more

Kung Pao Chicken and chicken lo mein. We want to support local businesses. I am so confused about the good reviews. As you can see by the photo, my husband's dinner was mostly celery. He didn't pay attention and doesn't like celery. That would be fine if 90 percent of this Kung Pao Chicken wasn't celery. He spent 15 minutes pulling out the everything else. No way will we be back. We ordered online, but it was not real quick. Got there and had to wait as they didn't even get the order in process. I would recommend calling if you want to go pick it up right away. We like things spicy and I always try the Singapore Noodles, which they had the best I have ever tried. They had a nice bite and not to greasy. We will definitely order these again. We also ordered the Chicken with Vegetable, House Triple Black Bean Sauce and an order of egg rolls. Again, we ordered these dishes spicy. The black bean definitely had more flavor, which was a also a winner. The egg rolls were good and seemed pretty standard. The Chicken with Vegetable was also good, we just prefer more flavor. Overall, no complaints and we will try this place again, but will call to see if timing can be better. read more

I ordered 1 salt,and pepper wings.... way to much breading to the point that you couldn't identify where you usually chow on a wing... and an order of veggie fried rice.... peas almost nonexistent, haven't seen any carrots, sprouts about the same as peas, pea pods halved, or quartered....and tofu (I think) which I totally detest, and wasn't described as in the dish. Usually you get shorted on the meat now, but I guess it's come down to veggies too.‍. To top it off $20! Since moving to White Bear Lake we've been looking for a new Chinese restaurant to replace our favorite at our previous home. We may have found one! This was our first time at Mr Sesame Chicken and it certainly won't be our last! Really great, authentic Chinese cuisine. Not a buffet like our old one, but still really good. We tried the Chicken Cashew (lots of cashews!), the Beef with broccoli, and of course egg rolls. All were very good. Staff was very friendly too. read more

One word comes to mind when I think of this place 'ehhhhhh'. Although the people are very pleasant, the food here is just not satisfactory. I ordered the orange chicken and no joke it tasted like apple pie chicken, dessert chicken or something. I know orange chicken is sweet but the amount of sweet this was, INSANE. I also ordered Asian noodles and guys this was sooo bad, store bought pasta noodles and butter would have been better. The only reason for the 3 star rating is the very sweet hostess, so friendly. The inside of the place is just about as good as it's food. Theirs this big ugly fish tank right in the front and it's quite large and intimidating, not sure what the deal is with that. A little off the beaten path but worth the time to find. Their hot & sour soup came to the table very hot (temperature) and very well spiced. Their most popular dish, Singapore Noodles was excellent. Our fave local Chinese joint closed. Tried several others until we found this one - our new go to for Chinese. Very good food, fast, low priced, friendly service. The place is small and humble, but clean. Doesn't matter as we always get take out. Egg rolls, fried rice, cream cheese won tons, sesame chicken and lo mein are among the best we've ever had (and we have tried a lot of places). Mongolian beef was only OK. Need to try the rest of the menu. Calling your order in is quicker than ordering online. From the time I call to when the food is ready is usually 15-20 minutes. read more
