Been to this restaurant many times and just realized I never left a review! Thai & More is a New Brighton special. One of my favorite restaurants in the area by far and incredible Thai and Burmese food. Some of my favorite dishes at this place are the massaman curry and pad see ew, but everything I've had has been delicious. The place is easily accessible with nice indoor and outdoor seating. The waiters are all incredibly nice and helpful, and the food always comes out so quick. Highly recommend it! read more

We went at 11:45 on Wednesday and sat on the patio. We did have a reservation, but likely did not need one. Food 5/5: the food was all delicious! I had the steamed dumplings and lunch portion of red curry. It was all hot and delicious. My friends got pad Thai, bun salad, and sweet and sour chicken and all loved theirs. Service 4/5: the food took awhile to come out which can be challenging when they're busy during lunch if you need to get back. The waiter was quick to understand we needed our checks right away. Ambiance 5/5: we sat outside, and didn't go inside. The patio is nice, although we were bugged by bees quite a bit. Overall this is a great place for lunch! read more

What a fun surprise to see that the old Noodles and More has transformed into Thai & More. The bright and welcoming dining room has not changed much. The gentleman who waited on me was very hospitable and full of smiles! What a treat in this often grumpy world. When I saw that they had a Burmese noodle bowl, I had to try it out. I have never had Burmese food before! Admittedly it was pretty strange: a stewed catfish broth. Well as expected the fish is but a figment of imagination, completely melted into the broth. The dish amounts to a vegetarian dish with noodles plus an al dente egg. It's full of flavor though! I would say the flavor is very unique, but pleasant. Next time I'll try their lunch specials, which are typical Thai fare like curries, Pad Thai, Pad See Ewe etc. FYI their pho is on the pricey side at $16+ for a regular bowl. We were visiting family in New Brighton and craving something tasty. Ordering ahead was easy, and when we arrived the place was buzzing. Despite the crowd, the staff was friendly and quick to help. Service was slow. We saw open tables in the front of the restaurant but they sat us in the back. The ambiance is loud but that's okay since it's small. The food was overpriced. Quang in uptown has their priced at $11 versus here for $17. I don't recommend unfortunately. read more

The sauce was perfectly like yet flavorful, the veggies were perfectly chosen and cooked, and the tofu was cooked perfectly. On par with some of the best Thai I've had. I will note that my friends food had a small piece of some sort of plastic in it. She caught it (because she bit it) but that was slightly concerning. PICKUP EXPERIENCE: easy. I called to place the order (took 4 minutes). Placed the order for about an hour later. Food was hot and ready when I arrived. Paid upon arrival. And packaged well for carry out. Tasty neighborhood Thai restaurant. We went here after checking out some ice castles a quick drive away. We wanted something hot and this place closes at 9. After checking a few reviews which gave this place rave ratings, we were intrigued and decided to give it a go. The restaurant was pretty empty around 8pm. We saw a few take away orders and a single table was seated after we came in. Pretty rustic table set up, but the staff were friendly enough. I ordered the cream cheese wontons to start and had the pad Thai as my entree. The wontons were fresh out the fryer and were creamy and delish. Half triangle fold, not my favorite, but easy to bite into. The pad Thai I ordered pork and 3/5 spicy and it was quite nice. Noodles, meat, bean sprouts, lime on the side; can't go wrong. I'm not often on the north side of the Mississippi, but if I'm ever in the area, this restaurant would make the consideration set fer sure! This is a small, family-oriented restaurant serving authentic Thai food, with a few Burmese items added to the mix. It does not have a liquor license. There is a reasonable amount of seating indoors, and a few tables outside as well. While we were there, the restaurant was doing a booming take-out business (Saturday night). We started with chicken satay, with the usual cucumbers and peanut sauce. The chicken was overdone, to the point of having the texture of jerky. In contrast, the Radna and Massaman curry were equally terrific, with large enough portions that we were able to make a second meal out of the leftovers. O.M.G. If you love Pad Thai (correct pronunciation pa- thai) then you most likely are a connoisseur like me. I am telling you...THIS is the best Pad Thai I have ever had (including Sawatdee - which prior to this was my favorite). The lunch portion was more than enough and as fresh as it gets! I also ordered their spring rolls - because if you love Thai food, it's a must. Their peanut sauce was the perfect compliment and just the right mix. There's nothing like the fresh bite through the rice paper roll right into the cilantro/noodle/veggie mix. Thai and more tastes so fresh! To top it off and put me into a food coma, I ordered Mango Sticky Rice. I do not have the words to write as to how amazing and warm and sweet and sticky this was!! I typically like warm noodles, but these are cold. Excellent gluten free menu. Even if you don't see it on the menu as gluten free you can always ask. I usually order takeout once a week. Results are consistent and flavorful. A lot of places it feels like the GF version is kind of off tasting but these chefs have mastered their recipes. My favorite pad Thai place. They also are great on the amount of spice. Thai & More... it took me a while to figure out what the "& More" was, but don't mind my slowness. They have a Thai menu, but they also serve Pho (Vietnamese soup), so that solves "The Mystery of And More", which will be the title of my next book if I wrote books, but (un)fortunately, I don't. Nonsense aside, this place is great and a welcome addition to New Brighton. The previous business, Viet Noodles, closed after the owners retired. We had veggie spring rolls with tofu (not on the menu), Pad Panang curry with Mock Duck and Tom Kha soup with tofu. Everything was great: veggie rolls were fresh, the soup looked more yellow than a typical tom kha, but it tasted as good as any, with fresh galangal root, and the pad panang curry had the right amount of spice and the sauce had a satisfying thickness. Service erred on the side of duplicating effort: we were glad that we weren't ignored at our small side table. I'm grateful for the first great dining experience in the Twin Cities in many months. read more
