For our impromptu date night, my husband and I stopped at this fun spot to try it out! The ambiance was lively and comfortable. Our server was very helpful and made you feel welcomed. I had the Jungle Book cocktail minus the orange coffee infused bitters from the drink....and it was delicious!!! We had the Fried Minnesota Sushi as I was curious how this would taste. It was also very delicious! It had a crunchy outside and the pickle and cream cheese inside was such an interesting combination! This is a must try item!! We will definitely come again! read more

Always looking for new places to try- landed on this place for breakfast/brunch. Our server was fantastic and very attentive. She was probably the best part of our visit. Refilled our drinks regularly, checked on us and was patient while we decided what to order. Atmosphere is nice! Nice open area and they have a rooftop in the summer. May have to give it a try when it warms up. I ordered the # 7 with sausage links- three times it was brought out with bacon. The eggs were very undercooked, white part looked like when you crack it open and that gel is moving around. Sausage links finally came out and they were burnt- toast was dry and my cheesy hashbrowns were also missing. Hashbrowns came out after and were loaded with onions. Probably one of the worst breakfasts I have ever had which was a bummer since breakfast is one of my favorites..... I was eyeing the steak salad and maybe should have gone with that. They have a decent menu and the place is nice, my food was just terrible. Maybe will swing by for another try. Not quite a fan yet. read more

So my other half and I were looking for a new place to go eat because we're both foodies and variety is the spice of life. So we looked for a place somewhat far from home so we could enjoy a nice evening ride to and from the place we choose. So we looked at the menu, and some of the ratings and decided to give this place a try. The fact that it has a rooftop made us want to really see if this could become a favorite of ours. So we walked in, it wasn't busy down stairs but it was pretty busy on the rooftop. So a young lady greeted us and asked us where we would like to sit and took us to our table. Our server who didn't give us her name asked us what we wanted for drinks so we gave her our drink order and also ordered the chicken lettuce wraps for an appetizer. The chicken lettuce wraps weren't anything special, I also didn't care for the water chestnuts in it. Our food arrived to our table I ordered the pan fried Walleye, with garlic butter broccoli and tater tots. My server asked about the broccoli and they said it was already part of my order and to see if I wanted another side. So I chose tater tots and when it came out there was no broccoli. They were going to make it since the cooks forgot to include it, however I told them after almost being finished eating my walleye not to make it because I didn't want to eat the broccoli alone. Also the walleye tasted like it was cooked in old oil, I didn't like it much at all. Had it not been for the basil pesto aioli I wouldn't have been able to stomach the walleye. A manager came to ask how everything was and I told her how I felt about the walleye and that it had a taste of being cooked in old grease and she said that's not good I'm going to go back and look into this. Well the manager never returned nor did they offer us a discount or let us know their findings. Lastly my girl order the 3 alarm burger and didn't care much for it, she said it had a taste of being cooked too long. Now the decor was nice, the bathroom was clean, and I loved the way the bar was set up with the televisions all around the bar. Sis and I needed to get out of the house and decided to take a drive. And it took us out to lunch at MC's Taphouse. I have never heard of it but looks like it's related to The Muddy Cow. We love the burger selection at Muddy Cow! We're not beer people so I can't comment on their selection. We walked in just after noon on Monday and the place was dead, just a couple of patrons at the bar and at high-tops. There were sports playing on the TV screens but no sound. No music playing. It was uncomfortably quiet. The bartender got us seated at a high-top on the bar side (booths and low tables in the dining area but not seating there at this time of day) right next to a giant garage door window. This would be awesome to be seated here on a nice summer night with a cross breeze. There was another garage door window on the adjacent wall. Monday is half price burgers with purchase of a drink. Burger selection isn't as vast as Muddy Cow, but it did have the same popular ones (Rodeo, Portobello and swiss). There are plenty of other options besides burgers. I saw the next tables order come out and it was a Mac N Cheese with brisket sandwich! Sis ordered the Drunken Portobello burger with Dilly Fries. Mushrooms burger had a whiskey glaze and I got to try a dilly fry. If you LOVE dill pickles, you'll these fries! The shape is new to me. Not a stick. More like a circle that is curling on itself like a scoop. I tried the Barbacoa Bessie burger with regular fries. Oh man, THIS burger! This is what I want when I want a Fiesta burger. The only thing missing was pico de gallo but it didn'tneed it. So much flavor in the pulled beef. And the Baja sauce gave it the kick to elevate it beyond a regular burger. My mouth was left with a little lingering heat and lips were just slightly tingly. My regular fries were hot, crispy with a soft center and lightly salted. The place remained slow during our stay, but image it gets busier in the evenings and weekends. Loved the intended vibe/ style/decor. Made a stop in the ladies room to wash our hands and liked the trough sink. Must remember to come back again!! read more

Our first time at our new neighborhood restaurant. We enjoyed the food. We started with some awesome mussels. I had the flamin blueberry burger with spicy dilly fries. It was tasty. My partner had the Cajun dry rub wings which were also very good. The tap selection is good, also. This is shaping up to be a good place for a frequent visit in our neighborhood. read more

Our nephew took us here after a long day of traveling from texas. First, I love sports bars (lots of tvs) and this one did not disappoint. Second, the beer selection was good. Third, we had many different appetizers and side orders to sample. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. I loved being able to pay online (for a 10$ discount). I stumbled across this gem after searching Yelp for something different in the northern suburbs. Apparently they've had their doors open for a year and they now have it down to a science! I sat at the bar solo and was greeted by the bartender with a smile She quickly put together a mango marg that was delicious, not to sweet, not too tart, just right! Holding back, not ordering the deep fried Fried Minnesota Sushi like I really wanted to, I opted for the Blackened Mahi Mahi Salad. It came out well presented and smelling like heaven. The first few bites were shocking as the flavors all came together with each bite. I cannot wait to go back and try something different, there menu is full of options that are not seen on the typical "bar menu". 10/10 would recommend. read more

First time trying this new place. We had been to the other Muddy Cow's but I think the menu here may be different. We ordered the steak sandwich and house fries. It was very good. Just went here for a late lunch, early dinner. This is our first time coming here, we have been to their Coon Rapids location before. Not sure if MC Taphouse has a different menu than the other muddy cow locations. We had the steak sandwich with house fries. It was very good. Tender steak could be cut with butter knife. A quick lunch at MC tap house during the week. Sat at the bar and was promptly greeted by the bartender. He was friendly and the place was pretty busy for 1:00 in the afternoon. I've been to multiple Muddy Cow locations and this one has been the nicest of them all. Their menu seemed to differ from other locations. If you have the right weather, it's certainly a nice place to hang out. Ate there a couple of times and I have nothing negative to say. We have been here a quite a few times! We went Monday and had half price burger. It was delicious and perfectly cooked!! Great service ! My only complaint is the bill arrived with a 3% charge for using a credit card. No where was that posted to let us know that would happen. We are SO excited to finally have MC's open in Lino!! It took longer than they hoped but it was worth the wait. Inside has great industrial/rustic decor and space to move around. The bar is the star of the show - I love how they display their bourbon/whiskey bottles. The menu offers good variety - the only thing I'd ask for is to show more clearly what options can be made GF. They DO offer GF buns so that's awesome! I've ordered the Chicken Berry salad a few times and it's delicious! The grilled chicken is amazing - no bland/dry chicken breast here! They're still working through opening pains and it's been a little different every time (wrong ingredients - no big deal though). The blackened Mahi Mahi was a little fishy, but we are very particular about our fish. The kids loved their food of course. Husband LOVES the Buffalo ranch fries. These are breaded so kind of a bummer if you can't have gluten as they look AMAZING! Adobo chicken on nachos was ok - but this was first week of opening so I'd love to try it again! I LOVE that they have something different from Angry Orchard for cider on tap! They had a dry Wild State cider which was awesome to have for an option! My FAVORITE item so far is the Drunken Portabella and Swiss. Wow the mushroom/Swiss with the whiskey glaze is AMAZING! I had to get more of the whiskey sauce because it's so good! Seasoned sour cream with the tator tots were solid as well. The service is awesome - definitely a bar atmosphere though so keep that in mind. Clearly it's a hit in the community since it's always busy! This place is amazing!! Definitely a great place to come for a happy hour or drinks with a group. We sat up on the roof where there was lots of seating and a dedicated bar up there too. Only downside is the lack of parking. If you don't get there early, you have to basically park in the Kohls parking lot and walk over. read more

The food was not good, worst Mahi Mahi I've ever had. The service was worse. They charged more than the listed menu prices. They don't clean or sanitize the tables or table accessories like the salt & pepper shakers. I watched many people leave & they barely wipe the tables down, in fact I witnessed another couple changed tables 3 times as they discovered they weren't clean. Then they use those portable credit card machines at the table which I'm betting they aren't cleaned or sanitized either with who knows how many dirty hands touching them.
