Chips and salsa with app reward-addictive & my fav!!!
    Dee Ann M.

We decided to go to Chili's. Normally we like to try the local places but our fav hamburger place is only outdoors and it was still a bit too hot to sit outside. Maybe the secret is getting here between 3-4 pm because we had great food and our service was good also. We were so hungry after hiking. The hostess immediately got up and accommodated our seating request for a booth. Our server came right away and using the Chili's app we got our complimentary chips and salsa. I don't know why I like Chili's chips and salsa so much but they are so good and addictive. We ordered the triple dipper with Nashville hot mozzarella sticks, hot honey mozzarella sticks, and the southwest eggrolls. All of these items were so delicious. The pull of the hot cheese inside the crispy pocket of flavored goodness was so amazing. We just love these mozzarella sticks when they are done right and come out HOT! The southwestern eggrolls were crispy and we enjoyed these as they were cooked to perfection also. We got the Smokehouse combo with 1/2 rack honey chipotle ribs, tossed honey chipotle tenders, steamed street corn, fries, and garlic toast. The menu says the corn is roasted but it seems like Chili's traditional buttered corn with all the street corn toppings. I'm not complaining. It was still good. The toast was soggy so it wasn't really good but the seasoned crispy on the outside and soft in the center French fries were delicious. I got a large basic salad with ranch and a side of white Mac and cheese. That was my favorite thing. It was creamy and thick. So good. We dipped our fries in the cheese sauce after we finished the Mac. It was all so good. We didn't finish it all and took it to go. This was a great stop and it didn't disappoint.

It has been awhile since I've been to Chili's. It was close to my hotel and I needed a cocktail. It was Monday night and it was busy. A few people were at the bar. The bar tender had the rest of the bar all by himself. He was busting a hump. He still kept up and did a good job. I had an old fashion and he did it correct and quick. I ordered the chips because I had the app. They were free! I ordered a salad too. Everything came timely. The food was good. Nothing stuck out about this meal. Reliable and pretty consistent.

Chili's has been a go to for my family and I for years. We moved to the area recently and I must say, this Chili's is excellent! The food, service, and drinks are always up to par. The restaurant is one of the cleaner ones that I've been to in recent years. We've sat in both a booth as well as the bar area and it's been great! I love their frozen sangria!

Went here on a Sunday night. Place was right in front of our hotel, so very convenient to walk to. Place wasn't really crowded, somehow we still were only offered seating in the bar area. Ordered a cup of chili and some house bbq wings. My wife got the rice shrimp bowl. The small chili was good, too many tortilla strips for my taste though. Didn't like the wings with the house bbq. Neither the bbq nor the wings. The shrimp rice bowl was ok, just a bit too spicy. Too neutralize got the cheesecake. Cheesecake was good, too much strawberry mouse on top though. Staff was nice enough. Convenient option when you're close by, but don't expect too much in terms of food. Maybe also didn't order the right things from the menu.

Chili's is a chain, so you know it's always consistent.... and conveniently located right in the hotel parking lot. Wasn't too many guests when we arrived at 6 pm on a Saturday night. My dad and I did the 2 for $25 - chips & guac for the appetizer, chicken fajitas for my dad, and the bacon ranch chicken quesadillas for myself. As always, way more food than I could handle... that is, until the strawberry-glazed cheesecake arrived. So good, so good. Food was great, only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars was that I noticed about halfway through that my water glass was dirty (streaks of lipstick or peppers caked onto the side). Our server quickly replaced it and no other issues otherwise

Yes, this place is good...depending on when you show up and what you order. Late on a Sunday night there aren't many options open so we gave this Chili's a try. It was busy, so we sat at the bar hoping for faster service. The bartenders are usually more experienced. Having worked at a Chili's during college (many, many years ago) I'm still somewhat familiar with the menu, the quality of the food, and more importantly, how to order. There are certain items on the menu you should probably never order (like the nachos, which had no flavor here), and then there are items which are usually always good (like their chicken enchilada soup). One thing I always liked about this chain is their flexibility in making modifications and allowing substitutions. I got a cup of the chicken enchilada soup with no toppings on it and the Margarita Chicken entree from the Guiltless section, with broccoli instead of rice and black beans. He ordered the nachos. To keep things simple and easy for our server we asked for everything to come at the same time. Everything I ordered was hot and delicious. Surprisingly, my chicken was moist, tender, and flavorful. The soup was hot and paired well with my meal. My hubby's nachos were disappointing so I shared some of my chicken with him. Our bartender/server was great, and she kept checking on us. The food took a while but hey, it was busy so to be expected. We stayed busy by chatting, watching what was on tv, and listening to the music. Overall, we had a pleasant experience.

We went to Chili's for dinner one night in Alamogordo NM because it was next to Hampton Inn so we just walked over. B. got the $5 monthly margarita Red Nose Rita. He said it was sweet and he doesn't like sweet drinks. He finished it though. I ate the maraschino cherry that was in the drink. I got grilled salmon fillet w/ double broccoli that was tasty enough. B. got a shrimp cesar salad - he liked it fine.

I rolled in to Alamogordo late-don't know the town so options were limited. Let's be clear-Chili's is not much of a restaurant-it's a place were teenagers and 20 somethings warm up your food in a microwave and bring it out arranged on restaurant plates-so just be clear-you could produce better at home after a shop at the local grocer freezer section. Knowing this I tried to play it safe: chips and salsa + ranch (their ranch is solid) and chicken fajitas. The chips were pretty much crumbs-there had to be about 10 full size chips in the entire basket-they were not warm-but they did have a good crunch. The salsa and ranch were good as I remember them. The chicken fajitas were rubbery, the peppers and onions crispy and the whole mess was covered in some sort of sauce drizzle which wasn't good. The condiment plate had shredded cheese (which looked and felt like it had sat out all day long) pico and sour creme-I didn't try any of it-based on the cheese looking old. And, they were out of Dr. Pepper, according to the server, for the last two days. I realize that Alamogordo is out in the middle of no-where, but seriously? Two days? All this for 22 bucks. I should have gone to the Taco Bell across the street. I've no confidence in Chili's or any of it's "microwave your food" cousins, it's not difficult to do better.

I'm not a fan of chain restaurants but this Chili's is one of the better places in town to eat. Monthly specials keep it interesting.

Free bread with garlic balsamic olive oil, bread was warm and they were very generous with the amount of dried garlic. Margherita pizza: we picked the most standard one and it was odd. Instead of cheese and fresh basil it had slices of tomato and dried basil. Crust was underdone and there was way too much cheese on it. Italian nachos: Crispy pasta chips, black olives, pepperoncinis, Roma tomatoes, jalapeños, Alfredo sauce, mozzarella and parmesan. We had it with chicken and it was interesting but drowning in Alfredo sauce.

We ordered the fajita tacos and the combination lunch plate (chicken hard taco, green chile con carne, green enchilada, and a chile relleno) with borracho beans and rice. The fajita tacos and chile con carne were okay, but the enchilada was weak and the relleno was filled with some sort of liquid cheese that poured out in the first lukewarm bite. Rice was okay. Beans were overwhelmingly over-seasoned with oregano. The combo plate was drowning in broth from the chile con carne. We were disappointed hearing that this place had such great green chiles, but it was all so watered-down that we didn't taste much of the chile flavor. :(
