    6oz sirloin and fries

Went for lunch on a Sunday, didnt have a wait at all. We ordered right away though we were disappointed they didnt have childs meal grilled chicken anymore for my GF child. We ended up having to order her an adult steak that she didnt eat. Food was fine, I wasnt blown away, I had the guiltless 6oz steak, it was perfect amount if food and flavorful. Service was good, with the exception that I had ordered a margarita that wasnt put in, and when we finally inquired about it we were told it wasnt put in so I told them to forget it since my meal was 3/4 done. The restaurant was clean, typical looking Chili's. Theres really nothing about this visit that gave me the wow factor, maybe I really needed the Margarita.

Chili's for dinner mainly to try the Wicked drinks! Glad we came because we weren't aware the promotion ends at the end of November. The Pink drink was really good. The green one wasn't the favorite of the group but we all appreciated how STRONG they tasted. They did run out of wands which is a bummer because it's what makes the drinks fun and cute! Other drinks we ordered was the flamingo (frozen margarita) and the long island. The flamingo was super super good, definitely would order it again. We also ordered the honey chipotle mozzarella sticks. They were super super delicious and stretchy! Other people in my table ordered the triple dipper (not pictured) with chicken crispers, chicken eggrolls, and boneless asian flavored wings (forgot what the actual flavor was).

I just love Chili's restaurant. We got a gift card for Christmas and had not been there for a while so we went. The service was great and our server made us laugh. He seemed like he loved his job. Everything we have ordered was delicious. We especially loved the Fajitas for two. It comes with chicken steak and shrimp and black beans and rice and sour cream. Now it seems we have to have a weekly dose of them. You leave Chili's full and have experienced great customer service. What more could you ask for.

Hometown chilis right here, she has never given me any problems or tummy aches. Food is always good! Triple dipper + frozen marg = can't go wrong. The service is usually pretty good here! Can get pretty busy during peak hours, but typically doesn't take too long for seating.

4 protein fajitas special for two!

Currently Chilies is offering pick 4 protein fajitas meal to share for $40 for two people. This includes two sides of rice, black beans, sour cream, pico de gallo and choice of flour of corn tortillas. Of course my husband and I had to select that meal to check out the quality and quantity, and we weren't disappointed at all! Food was on point but could've had it better with pinto beans rather than black beans. The service was quick and easy with no waiting time; this happened because we checked in through the Yelp app to join the restaurants waiting list which made it super convenient. During our visit my daughter selected their full rack of ribs and fries for 28$ and let me tell you that was also delicious.

Absolutely terrible experience. We checked in and waited over 15 minutes for our turn, staying nearby the entire time. Then out of nowhere, we received a text saying our name had been removed from the waitlist. The young blonde girl working the tablet at the front never came over to check for us, never called our name, and never gave any warning before removing us from the list. If a restaurant is going to remove guests from the waitlist, the least they can do is make a reasonable effort to find them first. We wasted our time waiting only to be taken off the list without explanation. Very frustrating and disappointing customer service.

My family and I dine here every now and then, once every month or every couple months. Very good service. Clean environment, clean bathroom, clean tables. It takes a bit for our food to get here but honestly I understand it because it's normally busy so.

The service was great, that's not the issue. The issue was last night when about 5 friends and I were enjoying our meal when some staff member recognized a friend of mine. I don't think it's wrong to say hi or anything, but the issue comes when you're forcing my friend to have a whole separate conversation right in front of us. This male staff member passes by, recognizes her, then says "oh don't be a stranger." Then my friend says she's not being a stranger she just didn't recognize him, and instead of it being left there THIS MAN BABY WANTS TO WHINE LOL!!!!! Talking bout some "oh yes you are blah blah I'm right here wah wah." His attitude was very off putting, the least he could've done was offer us a free dessert if he "recognized her" so much. Honestly, what I really didn't like was how forceful he was about the whole conversation, like bro you're in the middle of a shift WHERES YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE VOICE??? Instead he gonna put on his "where my hug at?" voice on. I don't know what kind of guys my friend chats with here and there, but this one forgot that he wasn't at no tinder-rejects convention. Anyways, sorry if this comes off as offensive or aggressive, I was tipsy last night and the last thing I was gonna do is tell a staff member he was being pushy and ruining the vibe for about 30 seconds, and that he was being annoying. All I ask is that these staff members be taught how to foster a welcoming environment, how to maintain their professional presence, and that there are some tables that do not want to engage with outsiders that are not dinning with them. And make sure those preventative sexual harassment courses have been taking and are up to date!!!!!!

The dive bar vibe is exactly what you'd hope for, and everyone from the servers to the bartenders is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food is a bit more of a mixed bag. The menu is pretty limited, with no plant-based options. I ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo, and while it was very cheesy and comforting, it really just needed a generous amount of black pepper to bring the flavors to life. My husband had the Chicken Alfredo and enjoyed it. He also ordered the clam chowder, which he said had good flavor, but it arrived cold enough that the bowl could have used a little warming before it was served. For us, The Pour House isn't really about the food, it'sabout the experience. Great live music, a relaxed neighborhood feel, good drinks, and genuinely awesome people behind the bar make it a place we'll happily come back to on Friday nights. If you're looking for a casual spot to grab a drink, listen to some music, and enjoy one of the friendliest crowds in Bakersfield, it's definitely worth checking out.

Even the manager came up and introduced herself and we had a nice chat. Smaller space than most bars but that is fine as for now, this place does not seem to get very busy. Even though happy hour runs late! The prices for drinks were more than affordable but nothing fancy. Your moscow mule for example will come just in a regular glass (darn thieves!) and not the slick, proper, copper mug that will keep your drink colder for longer. Again, think Denny's. Also tried a simple vodka drink and a margarita. They were fine. We went on a Fri night I think at 9pm when surprisingly, karaoke started. THIS was interesting. I was excited as it was listed as 80's night but as the night went on, 'anything goes' was the rule. It was fun but the same people went up over and over again trying to get their big break! They were having fun with it - we just decided to leave when the foul, crappy hip hop came on. The mood had shifted. There are booths, high tops and you can eat from the regular Denny's menu. We did not eat but what was recommended to us by staff were the burgers and skillets for next time. To sum up - this is a very casual spot to bring some friends and have drinks on the cheap with friendly service. And a diner menu if you are hungry that serves late into the night.

Little hidden gems. Lighting is dark with bits color and neon popping through. The Bar Top curves around the bar- there are two booths that seat 5-6 and two short tables next to them- one seats 4- the other will comfortably seat two. There are a few bench style seating areas at the front with some short coffee tables. Think- skater tiki bar. The drinks were good- small menu if you're not sure what you want or are new to tiki. Both sides of the menu are the same menu. There are some nice mocktail options as well- you don't see that often. The service for me is mixed- it wasn't busy- steady but not busy- 1/4 full. I ordered two drinks to start for our table- (no cocktail servers here/not unusual for a small Tiki bar) I asked for a soda water- the bartender looked at me without a word- popped open a can of soda water and walked away. When he walked back by, I asked for a glass of ice- he said nothing and I got an eye-roll huff. I almost left. I don't think providing a glass with ice to pour your canned room temp soda water in, is too wacky an idea to be perturbed by the request. The female who took the order was friendly, smiled and was professional. We got a third cocktail- the Mai Tai. The grumpy bartender was friendlier this time. So, that helped. Maybe he felt overwhelmed and I threw off his groove by asking for water- then a glass... either way- being annoyed wasn't cool. The music.... Wasn't Tiki- it threw off the "Tiki Vibe" and made it feel typical small local bar that serves only Tiki drinks with some Tiki decor. It didn't take you to the land of Tiki- disappointed. Drinks were good.
