I don't know why this location does not have great reviews, but it was DELISH! The locations at home aren't that good or fresh, but this location does something right! Food: 5/5. We ordered ribs and fajitas with roasted corn and broccoli. The food was at the right temperature, tasted so delicious, and perfectly seasoned. The roasted corn is almost as good as the ones served at fairs fresh off the grill. Very sweet flavor. Atmosphere: 4/5. It's a typical Chili's. Nothing spectacular but good enough. It wasn't crowded on a Saturday night so not too noisy. Service: 5/5. We had a great server who was attentive, prompt, and great about bringing us what we needed. Overall: 5/5. This location does it right. I don't even eat at the ones in the Charlotte area because they are just not that great, so I always eat at this one when I'm out of town. read more

Pretty much the experience you'd expect from a Chili's. Service was okay and the food came out hot, tasting about how you'd expect from a chain restaurant. They did get my wife's order wrong, and to make it worse we were double charged, which took extra time to sort out. It was eventually corrected, but it put a damper on the visit. Food is exactly what you'd expect, mehhhh... nothing memorable. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill from there. My meal was made incorrectly (asked for ranch in the side), and to top it off, I was double-charged for it. When I pointed it out, it took far longer than it should have to fix, and they still didn't remove the full amount of the duplicate charge. Would not recommend. Will not go back Order to go so can't really review the ambiance, it's your typical Chili's inside. The to go service was very good I did not have to wait for a long for my food and three different people asked me if they could help me. I ordered a kid's chicken strip with salad and a bowl of soup. It was the smallest bowl of soup I think I've ever had and was a third filled with tortilla strips. It was way too salty and not very good. The chicken strips were average the salad was good. I left a review on It's Just Wings as well, but felt it needed to be posted on here for more people to see. This review is about It's Just Wings, which is a part of Chili's. Incredibly disappointing. We have ordered here a few times and not once have they gotten our order correct. Our most recent order consisted of two orders of wings, one boneless and one bone-in. The wings were cold, buffalo wings had no sauce, resulting in no flavor, and they completely forgot the fries with both orders. Not quite sure how you completely forget the side, but it happened. They have really turned things around at this location. We haven't been here in over a year because it was so bad. We live in Boone and so we decided to try it again and they have new management and they are doing an amazing job. Everything was good, exceptional service, food was great. Feeling a little sick after ordering to go from Chilis tonight. I ordered southwest egg rolls which I tried my best to finish the 3 and not waste. In total I spent almost $18 and the amount of food I received was disrespectful. The proportion to price ratio is not what I remembered from chilis. My side salad was about 3-4 bites with occasional brown lettuce. Just disgusting. 0/5 - would not recommend. read more

We were a table of 7 (I get it) but when we have to wait half an hour to even get asked about a water, let alone our drinks from the bar and food. Our hostess was very pleasant. Heading to our table we noticed servers "un-bussed" dirty tables. Our waitress actually was nice, however after taking our order she never came back with our drinks (2 beers). We did see her talking to her friend (boy) a couple of times before and right after we ordered. After 8 minutes we left and got takeout from a place at the strip mall behind. I wish I had paid attention when we walked in the door. Shame on me for missing this "86" Health Dept score. I also should have paid attention to the greasy slickness of the floor on the way to our table. We were seated right next to the bar entrance and could see the filth on the floor and under the counters and equipment behind the bar. And the food crud along the walls and the floors throughout the dining area. And the disgusting windows complete with a kids handprint. We were there within an hour of the restaurant opening, it was apparent that this place does not get cleaned on a regular basis. Still willing to take the chance we waited for our food. Bad decision. It didn't look like anything have been made to order, but pulled from the counter or the refrigerator from yesterday (or the day before). The food was room temperature at best. If I could take back the one star I would. This restaurant is sadly the worst I have been into. read more

TLDR: Customer Service pushed me to order take out from now on. Today I went to Chili's with my mom and s.o. We used the waitlist on this app and told the host when we arrived. There were 3+ hosts standing around talking and on their personal phones while tables were dirty or just empty and could be sat at. I know there are covid restrictions but the table that we were eventually given was in an completely open section. Our server was not attentive and did not provide us with silverware or napkins or refills unless prompted. It seemed like the whole restaurant was in misery just being there. No smiles, no "thanks for coming in". I've ordered take out a few times from this location and after today's experience I will probably order take out from now on. I give a two because I have been to this location numerous times and Riley is a great server so she keeps them from being a 1 in my book. read more

This place needs serious help. Service was slow, but the young man who served us was nice. However, he nor the manager checked on us while we were eating to see if the food was ok. I had the chicken tenders which were HORRIBLE. They seriously looked like deep fried salt and pepper catfish. I wanted to ask if they were fried in yesterday's oil. They tasted like nothing but old with drippings of everything that was cooked the previous day. I had to use my napkins to squeeze some of the oil saturated meat. I ate the corn on the cob - If was mushy. The fries were ok. The only reason I'm giving a 2 star is because my side salad was pretty good and the cookie desert was good. This place is struggling. I have tried to cut them some slack the past few times because of the short staff/Covid issues. But, today was it for me. They were out of salsa completely and would only offer ranch with chips (gross). I got a quesadilla and it was dry with hardly any chicken or filling. I felt obligated to get the chili tho so I had to wolf it down. I didn't even make it to my main meal because I got taken down by the apps. This place was ok the server was cool and very attentive and not only when he walked away the other servers would check on us what teamwork thats how its done. The bathroom was dark had a few cobwebs needed some light bulbs but clean. The interior was clean but they could get them baseboards out there could use some scrubbing. But my biggest complaint would be they were out of ribs and the chicken tenders tasted like their fryers needed changing you could taste the burnt grease but everybody at my table was very happy thats one reason for the 5 star and second the teamwork how they ran the floor after each other I hadn't seen that in a really long time if I ever visit the mountains again I would definitely come back here watching those servers work like that was like watching the Spurs kill the heat in 2014 great work guys you were awesome. read more

The food took forever to come out, but during COVID, that's understandable. My issue was the quality and temperature of the food. I have NEVER had a bad meal at Chili's, but that was the absolute worst food my husband and I have ever had. I had the onion metals. Decent but not like they used to be. For our meal I had the Chicken crispers, loaded mashed potatoes and steamed asparagus. My husband had steak fajitas. We ate it because we were starving by the time we got our food. This was my first time in Boone, NC, but not my first time at a Chili's. The service team somewhat tried, but missed on several simple things. I should have known something was wasn't right, when a Chili's is basically empty at 5:30 on a Friday night. This may be a new thing, but no one wore anything distinguishing them as an employee, which made it interesting to ask for assistance. Our server seemed to not grasp the concept of providing plates with the appetizers, even after he was asked for them. Everything was good except for the steak being no where near medium rare, it was almost completely done. After I finished eating I ordered desert and it was the best part of the whole meal. We watched as 2 workers made out in the middle of the restaurant after we had sat there for over 30 minutes waiting for the bill so that we could leave. The appetizer I ordered never came to my table and was told they no longer had it. After asking to speak to the manager I was informed they did have the menu item I ordered and the appetizer.
