Stopped by Chili's in Carson and I have to say -- it was exactly what I needed to close out Black History Month on a high note. The atmosphere was relaxed, the food hit the spot, and the bartender was great. Super attentive, personable, and made sure everything was right without hovering. Sometimes you just need good service, good energy, and a place where you can unwind -- and that's exactly what this was. I'll definitely be back.

    Terrible customer service

I enjoyed my time sitting in the bar area . Had yummy drinks and this cheese stick appetizer. I highly suggest asking for the Nashville sauce in the side bomb !!!! It truly made me cheese sticks so delicious. Tammy was a great bartender . I would come back and eat or drink in this bar area at chillis Carson .

We came here for a brief meeting and were able to get seated right away next to the bar. There was a guy at the bar who every time I turned my head to the left I just kept seeing his butt crack. I was so annoyed we asked to be moved -- cause that's not the work of THE LORD for my life to be having a discussion, trying to eat then having to see some guys crack... NOPE! We were moved to a muuuuch better spot. We ordered salad, soups, burgers and fries. We even stayed after we were finished with our meal and it didn't feel rushed like we had to leave immediately since we were still having our meeting. Overall, good experience and I'd return again!

I have been to this location many times. I came on Thanksgiving Eve and the restaurant was filled to capacity. Yes, it's popular. We were seated immediately. They have a special where you can get an appetizer, an entree and a drink. I got the house side salad, smash burger and fries, and strawberry lemonade. My cousin got a soup, chicken fingers and a strawberry lemonade. The drinks came right after we ordered and the appetizers followed. The service is pretty fast. The bathrooms were dirty when was there but the rest of the restaurant was clean. The noise level is average but know this place gets busy. It's located in the Carson Pavilion Shopping Center so take that in mind. My check was $38 including tip. That's reasonable. Food was decent. Service was adequate.

Went for the drinks. What I ordered (drink wise) looked nothing like what I received AT ALL, BUT it was delicious so I'm not complaining ahaha. Also got boneless buffalo wings and chips and salsa, didn't get a picture of that but it was decent. One server gave us crumbs instead of whole chips, but our waiter noticed & brought us fresh whole chips. Definitely would comeback for the drink we substituted vodka for the tequila though. Service was slow, they were really busy for a Monday.

Ok so I've been here multiple times but i usually sit at the bar for faster service since it's always me and my wife but Today I brought my kids & nephew and let me tell you it was by far the worst experience ever. This service was inexcusable they sat us down and that was it I had to keep calling on someone to help us out and it's crazy because they had lots of worker walking around it was just our waiter he couldn't help out at all it took us 2 hours basically to get out food and eat and don't get me wrong the food was really like always it's just the crappy service that I hate .

I love drinking here this is so delicious!!

My first time at Chili's in decades, and had a great (sentimental) experience. Our waitress (Bri or Brie or Bree) was so nice and made the experience comfortable, and attentive. Will come back!

The service was great off the bat me and my friend and service dog were greeted, sat, attended too with kindness from I believe our servers name was Russel if I got it wrong my apologies, hey gave great recommendations since it was our very first time at Chilis. I had the Santa Fe Burger with a side of their Mac & Cheese and the burger was perfect fries were good the Mac & cheese was good not great a bit watery. The restaurant was really nice and clean the booth was comfortable and very clean they had a few basketball games going on the hospitality was great, I'd definitely come here again to try their famous baby back ribs for sure! We went in for a quick meal with my father in law. He wanted the baby back ribs. We ordered drinks (alcohol) they were amazing!!!! We shared a full rack of ribs and had french fries and mashed potatoes. The ribs were falling off the bones, just the way I like them, the sauce was delicately sweet. My husband had a Long Island ice tea, I had a blueberry margarita. The margarita was one of best I've had. Our servers name was Deontrea.... Probably not how he spells it. But, he was extremely attentive. Our food was served within 15 minutes. The restaurant was noisey and mostly packed. But we were seated right away. I'm not a fan of Chili's but I will return, if only for that drink.

Brought my mom in for lunch while visiting her in CA. Our server was very nice and attentive (Shakira), but the food was a bit of a disappointment. I ordered the appetizer "You Pick Three" (Southwestern Egg-rolls, Chicken Tenders, and Sliders) and it was served super greasy! The egg rolls were somewhat smashed/flattened out and the chicken tenders were bathed in the sauce, which was the cause of the greasy mess on the bottom of my plate! I was not too pleased! My mom ordered the smash burger and it too was very greasy. She said her fries were good and they must've been, because she ate them all! This Chili's just wasn't the same as others, but hey, not all have the same cook! I'm sure it was just a rough day in the kitchen...

Dear Chili's Customer Service Team, I am writing to share a very disappointing experience I had today at one of your locations. I placed my order at 9:20 PM and arrived to pick it up shortly after. By 9:48 PM, we were still waiting at the pickup area with no assistance from any staff members. There was no one attending the pickup counter, and we had to wait an extended period without acknowledgment. After waiting for quite some time, I had to call out for assistance. When I approached a staff member and politely asked if someone could help us, she responded, "We're closed, it's 9:48 PM," in a very rude tone. We were only there at that time because we had already been waiting so long without assistance. There was a paper bag sitting on the pickup rack, and she asked, "Is this yours?" I responded, "How am I supposed to know?" since she had not asked for my name or order number to confirm the order. The entire interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional. I understand that closing time can be stressful, but customers who place orders before closing should still be treated with courtesy and respect. I truly enjoy your food, but experiences like this make me reconsider returning. I hope you will address this matter and ensure better customer service in the future. Sincerely, Disappointed customer!

I tried the duck confit, duck fries, and brussel sprouts which all tasted amazing as well. Our server immediately suggested the kids meal and it was brought out pretty quickly so it was impressive how thoughtful they are with kids. If you're not driving on the track, the mimosa was tasty and I want to try the sangria next time (their wine collection looks really good by the way so would love to have more to say on that). Ambiance was also perfect--very chill, very aesthetic. You can see the track from the restaurant and you can even step out onto an outside patio to watch the cars. Restaurant is very clean and decorated well. There were tons of kids around when we went, none of which were fussy (which no judgment if they are, I get it) but I think that shows how kid-friendly and family-friendly this restaurant is, which isn't very easy to find. Just because of that I would definitely come back. We reserved at the earliest they had open that day (11am) and they were able to hold the spot for half an hour max--it wasn't too crowded yet but already a good amount of people coming in. They also had a shopping event that day so that might also be part of it. When you first walk in, there is a visitor log you sign into and they give you a badge that you return when walking out. Also had their mint condition cocktail and it's really tasty. The restaurant also overlooks the track so if you're lucky, you get a table by the window and can watch the cars but they only go out on the track during specific times.

We ordered a $13.99 personal meal. My wife had the mac & cheese with a salad, and I had the combo pizza with a Caesar salad. We added two drinks for $1.99 each and shared a nutty coleslaw. I was surprised at how large the "personal size" mac & cheese was -- it was very generous. We ended up sharing the pizza, mac & cheese, and coleslaw and still had plenty of food. The meal also came with two personal-size carrot cakes, which we took home for the next day. Even sharing just one was more than enough. Everything was delicious, but the carrot cake really stood out. Super moist, full of carrots and chunks of pineapple, and topped with an amazing cream cheese frosting. The interior is neat and clean. There are various types of seating (bar; table; booth; high-tops; communal), and plenty of screens to watch sports. On this occasion, I ordered the Tavern Fish & Chips ($22). It is described as "Alaskan cod coated in a tempura beer batter and served with French fries, tartar sauce and yuzu herb coleslaw". The positives of this dish are that it was prepared well. Both the fish and chips tasted good. The presentation was also nice; which leads to the coleslaw: The coleslaw tasted good, too; but I was surprised the serving was so spare. It's almost as if it was served just to optically balance the presentation in the basket. (See photo shared,) And while the price was not unreasonable, feel it's creeping towards expensive (relative to serving size). I'll attribute this to rising input costs. Staffing might be an issue during the lunchtime service. Service was okay, but they seemed to be understaffed. It's possible that most of their business is done after 5pm.
