Arrived at Chili's at 5 pm (early)! They advertised Baby Back Ribs on the menu and, also, a Large Marque inside with 3 foot letters said: "BABY BACK RIBS"! It took 25 minutes to wait on us--we ordered drinks and Baby Back Ribs! Again, it is 5 pm (early)! "Oh, I am sorry, we are out of Baby Back Ribs"! So, we both ordered the serloin steak, mine was medium rare, and also ordered drinks! The drinks came after "too long" and I asked where our meal was? I don't remember what that answer was; however, when the steak arrived, it was ice cold in the middle and the color of purple and the waiter suggested that, "that is medium rare--as you asked"! Chilis is a great place for lunches and dinners. The main reasons it is so good is its delicious quality food and the ambiance of the place itself. Walking into Chilis it has a great smell and feel and the workers are very welcoming and receptive of your needs. When sitting down at your table the service is excellent and when it comes to the bill it is no more than any other quality restraint. They have a wide selection of food and are very kid friendly. I would recommend Chilis as a perfect place take to take a friend family or even a date. The food comes quick and you'll leave feeling great. 4.5 Stars. read more

Okay normally when me and my bf come here its normally really good! This last time we went it was horrible! The waitress that was helping us seem like she wanted us out cuz she was rushing us! My bf got the honey chipotle chicken crispers, they were great they gave him a decent amount of them. He wanted to try the new jalapeno cornbread and it was nasty! It didn't even taste like cornbread! It tasted like dry cake with cheese on top! It upset our stomachs! I got the baby back ribs with the normal BBQ sauce, I figured why not try them out.. WRONG! They tasted good it was just they had really no meat it was mainly bone! And the new smoked potatoe wedges were alright nothing big and then I barely got any, I got maybe 5 or 6 maybe less! Another guest in our party ordered onion rings on the side and didn't get them til he reminded the server near the end of the meal. Went to have lunch on Father's Day and nearly half of the tables were empty, so they were obviously under staffed on a day they shouldn't be. We waited an hour for a table for 7, and watched two other groups (3 and 5) that came in after us get seated at 6-person tables. When we confronted the manager about the situation, we were given a story about how they couldn't add a chair to those tables because it was a fire hazard. Only problem with that was there was a high chair added to the exact spot she said was a fire hazard. Completely incompetent staff and management. We went to eat somewhere else. read more

Started off great! The server on the bar side was great and our appetizers came out quick. Unfortunately my steak came out over cooked. The server was quick to get another for me. That one came out cooked hard almost burned on the outside and cold in the middle. I know this isn't a steak house but I couldn't eat. Very dissatisfied, Loud and very unclean. I tried to wipe the stickeness off the table but what came off was black and and disgusting. We spoke with the server she stated she was not the cleaner but that she would talk to her manager I asked her would it be possible for me to have my salad when it came it was wilted and tasted mildewy the manager brought out our dinners and she apologized however she did not say anything about correcting it I would not recommend this restaurant because of the service and the uncleanliness. We both have Smokehouse Foods the ribs were hot and good my husband enjoyed his Smokehouse combo. They have a very poor choice of draft beers and the chilled glasses leave a lot to be desired we typically eat at the Chili's in Gilbert Arizona but the one in Casa Grande is very near our home so I know that Chili's is capable of having a well run establishment this just isn't one. read more

So, I just couldn't get the tableside guacamole out of my mind. And even though we were disappointed a few days ago, we went to Chili's for lunch today. What an amazing difference. Seated immediately, order taken quickly, food at the table fast. Our server, Pamela, personable and informative concerning the menu. BUT.......much to my chagrin.....the tableside guacamole is adios. We had a moment of silence, and then we had a great meal, recommended by Pamela. So, I believe in complaining when it is bad, AND complimenting when it is great. If i could give this place zero stars I would!! Horrendous customer service, food was cold when brought out. After we were seated, we sat a good 20 minutes before anyone even came up and took our drink order! When I said something to the manager, she shrugged it off and took our orders. Think we spent a total of 2 hours there and i can guarantee an hour of that stay was wasted waiting for a simple drink and food. And here's the good part! A worker and a manager who were standing right behind us near the kitchen entrance were sitting there talking bad about a young woman (another employee) sitting in the corner preparing the silverware. Sorry, I'm not going to eat somewhere where i have to listen to an earful of drama while I *try* to enjoy my cold food. Never going here again. Happy Hour in the bar is great. Love the free chips and salsa. Great appy specials. Hubby loves the classic nachos. We have Chili's in Canada but they don't serve the nachos anymore ... plus we paid $15 for an order ... uggghhhhh. And being Canadians, we aren't there often. Services was unacceptable. An entree was "forgotten" and ordered after the rest of the table had the food. A spoon for soup was never delivered after asking for it, after not getting one with the soup. Food was meh. Sever never checked on the table so I could ask for the spoon again, in hopes that maybe I could eat my soup. Soup was given back ultimately when the rest of the table was cleared. I asked for it to be taken off the bill. I mentioned to the server that I did ask her for a spoon after not getting one with the soup when it was initially delivered to the table. The response I got was, "I'm Sorry, I have all of these tables." I didn't realize that she was so busy that perhaps we should be eating with our hands. This is kind of hard to do with soup. Darn. My response to her was "well, that's too bad." I didn't know what else to say, the whole experience was really "too bad" I'm not sure if she was having a horrible night, or maybe she really doesn't like her job, I don't know. I just know that I would have liked a spoon, and we all would have appreciated if the food would have arrived at the same time and the "forgotten" entree had not been forgotten. I am afraid her mind was anywhere but thinking about making sure we had a good meal, and that sucks. Extremely disappointing. Order the rib eye steak, medium, it can rare, had to go back. Mean time my husband had his food. Waited about 5 minutes to get it back. Did not even look like the same rib eye, it shrunk, only way that happens is microwave, plus now it was well done and tasted microwaved. I told the server, she offered to have another one cooked, but at this point my husband's food was cold and by the time they would cook another one he would be done eating so I said just forget it, I will take it the way it was. Big mistake, should have just sent it back. Only eat about half and did not even take the rest home. Knowing I was not happy and did not even finish the meat you would think they would have taken something off the bill, but no, $18 for veggies and loaded mashed potatoes, at least those were good. The servers were nice my boyfriend and I always had refills on our drinks in good time. Had to wait a long time for our appetizer to come out even though we ordered them right upon arrival before ordering any other food. Place was very clean though and it was refreshing to see the manager out and about in the restaurant even helping clean a large table that had just left when we arrived when it was not that busy. The food was absolutely delicious and came in good portions. Unfortunately during our visit we were placed in front of the only tv that was playing infomercials about hernia medication instead of the fight. Dont order chicken here. I used to love Chili's but after this visit I won't be back. My friend ordered Cajon Chicken Pasta and it came out cold to the touch. I had the chicken fajitas and both of us tried each other's chicken... weird texture and flavor. Not undercooked but very rubbery and strange, it's hard to describe but it didn't taste like real food. I asked and they admitted to changing the type of chicken they use. So I definitely won't eat chicken here again. But on top of the food, the service was slow, took a while longer than it should have to get our food. Not to mention it was 10 minutes after our drinks came out before we got our chips to the table which we ordered at the same time as the drinks. Over all it was a disappointment and I wish we'd gone to mexican food instead. We didn't even eat half our meals because it just wasnt appatizing. The manager didn't fix the cold pasta because we had no desire to wait on the next one and instead discounted our 2 for 20 by 10%... thanks for the two dollars, you just lost a customer. read more

We HAVE always had an excellent experience at chilis. However, this past time it was absolutely ridiculous. We live in Tucson now but we're in town recently and decided to swing by and grab lunch. Our server was slow and inconsiderate. Our appetizer came our cold, and when we told our server they acted as if we were inconveniencing them. On top of that we asked for the air to be turned down MULTIPLE times because it was freezing, I literally watched the server and hosts walk over turn it down for 2 seconds and then turn it back up and giggle. read more

Allow me to preface this review- I like Chili's food; however, this review is specifically for the Chili's in Casa Grande. Our server was not friendly, was slow, and had an overall crappy attitude- it took 20 minutes from ordering to get the chips salsa to the table, the other appetizer was brought 10 minutes afterward. There were 4 of us in our party. Three people ordered steaks, varying from med-rare to med-well- all steaks were brought out and were well done- two of the steaks were returned to the kitchen to be corrected. The server returned a few moments later with one new steak, was cooked closer to what was ordered...the other steak was one of the well-done ones that had already been returned to the kitchen. We were appalled that the server would attempt to "re-serve" one of the overcooked steaks to someone at our table...the server lied when questioned, stating that the manager had told her to bring the steak back out and try to have it checked...we believe they were hoping we wouldn't notice it was the same steak w/ the same cut in it from the first time. The charbroiled steak was returned and replaced with a correctly cooked one. We'd also asked for fresh fries that accompanied my meal- they were old and chewy...both times around. Once all food was delivered, the manager did come around and denied that she would advise the server to handle our issues in the manner that she did...after the manager left, we may as well been on a deserted island... The Manager, and District Manager need to step up the service at this location and properly train their staff on how to properly handle food that wasn't cooked as ordered. read more

The food was mediocre, the wine was awful and the service was bad. They had 2 open tables when we arrived to accommodate our party of 6, yet we stood and waited for 20 minutes. We then waited another 20 minutes for our drinks to arrive. My fajitas were mostly fried onions, the hot sauce had no flavor as it was mainly tomato sauce, the tortilla chips were dripping grease, we had to request water twice. Would rate in negative stars if possible. Ordered the mixed fajitas for $14. The chicken looked like it had come off a sandwich at a fast food drive through, and the steak was almost invisible it was so small a portion. These topped green peppers and onions that looked like leftovers scrapped onto a plate. There was barely enough to use all three coaster sized tortillas, and even those were half stale. Another of my party ordered nachos. Another mistake. Around 10 chips arranged in a circle and barely sprinkled with various toppings in an attempt to make us believe it was worth over $10. The chicken pasta dish, while decently cooked, was around half the size the price demanded. The ribs were the only thing ordered that came close to right. The only saving grace of the experience was the waitress, who did a wonderful job. I will never return to eat there, and in fact the experience has put me off Chili's completely, no matter where they are located. read more

Took my mom there for mothers day dinner tonight--her choice, along with my boyfriend and son. Never have I had such a bad experience there. We were seated right away, surprisingly. We ordered drinks and then our food. Our drinks came quickly, and our appetizer followed about 15 min later. Shortly after that, our waitress (who was extremely nice btw), brought our entrees out. My mom had ordered a chicken salad, my boyfriend had ordered honey chipotle wings and a small salad, I had ordered chicken crispers and my son ordered a mac n cheese and fries. First off, my boyfriends wings weren't the right sauce flavor. My son's fries came with our entrees, but not his Mac and cheese. We were told by the waitress that it would be exactly 2 minutes on it. Kind of odd to know to the second how long it would take, but we just went with it and said it was fine. We began to eat our meals and my son, his fries. About halfway thru our meals he still hadn't received his mac. I decided to ask for a manager and he right away said he would go and check on it. As he was coming back out, our waitress brought his Mac and cheese out. All was fine until my son started biting into hard chunks and also complained about his Mac being cold in some spots. My boyfriend and I both took a look and it appeared to be uncooked pasta. So I once again flagged down our waitress to ask for the manager. She asked what was wrong and I explained. She then went back for her manager. He came and asked what the issue was and I started to explain. He cut me off and said that it couldn't be uncooked pasta because their Mac and cheese comes in precooked baggies and is microwaved and probably hardened because of it being microwaved too long. He had such a condescending attitude towards me when answering all of my questions and I felt like he was trying to make me feel stupid when I made the comment about it being undercooked. He then directed his questions to my son, who is 9, and was asking if he'd like another bowl. My son of course answered that he would, before we could interject and say we would just like to get him something else. The manager walked away quickly as we called after him. We waited a few minutes and he reappeared with another bowl. He left it on our table and began walking away without a word and I called out to him to ask if it would be removed from our bill. He said that it would and kept walking. My son then started eating once again and came across the same issue. He didn't even want to finish after that and our mothers day dinner was pretty much ruined from the poor quality of food and service, from the manager, nonetheless. I didn't even bother to mention the mix up with my boyfriends wing flavor by that time. I felt terrible that my mom's dinner didn't go well. As it stands, I'm not sure we'll be going back any time soon. We typically enjoy going there but tonight's experience just left us with a sour taste in our mouths. read more
