Enjoyed a good dinner at Chilis tonight, our server was attentive and food service was fast and friendly. Although as I finished my second Dr. Pepper I realized there was a receipt in my drink. There was ice below and on top of the receipt as if this had been a used cup that had been refilled to use again from another table. We did not finish our meals, staff was very friendly and apologized for the incident, they did offer a free dessert and discounted a portion of our check. The staff at this Chili's has always been top notch, but the review is about a menu item I had not tried before - Cajun Chicken Pasta. I admit to being in a bit of a rut at Chili's, always ordering either fajitas or a steak combo. Earlier in the day a couple ladies in the office told me the Cajun Chicken Pasta was delicious, so I stepped out of the rut into the unknown. But at the end of the day, I'm going back to the rut... The Cajun Chicken Pasta is described on the menu as penne pasta "in Alfredo sauce". Alfredo sauce's main ingredients are butter, heavy cream, and Parmesan cheese. I didn't taste any of that, nothing to see here folks, move on. This cheese didn't taste like Parmesan and had the cheddar-like taste and thick creamy consistency of one of those liquid processed cheese packets you squeeze from a boxed Mac & Cheese. It's very close to the Cracker Barrel Mac & Cheese boxed version. Point is - this isn't Alfredo sauce in the classic sense. But if you like a basic Macaroni & Cheese made of penne pasta topped with cajun seasoned strips of chicken, you might think this is delicious. For me, it was just a dressed up Macaroni & Cheese with some diced tomato and green onions thrown in, topped with cajun seasoned chicken of little texture. If you want true Chicken Alfredo, go to a good Italian restaurant. read more

The wait time given is NO WHERE NEAR CLOSE!! When we joined the wait list we were told 20-25 minutes... however it has been almost an hour and half and we're still not seated. You also have to wait outside in your car. Meanwhile... the parking lot looks pretty empty. We just ate here two times in a row (dinner one night and lunch the next day) and had a great experience both times. We had the same server (I think his name is David) and he was excellent. We were seated right away, last night it was extremely crowded and we were still seated right when we walked in and the service was still fast and accurate. We just moved to the area and chilis was one of our favorite places from back home. This location reminded us why we enjoy it. The food here was very delicious, but the service was slow. It took them a short amount of time to bring out our salads and chips, but then as we waited for our entrees it was taking quite a while. They had a good selection on the kids menu, but not very many options for their main meats. We ordered the chips and salsa with some chili queso. Their salsa was very good and so was their chili queso. However after eating the top layer of chips their was a significant amount of crumbles and not many substantial chips. We ordered the cookie a la mode for dessert and it was delicious it came out warm/hot and the waitress warned us that the skillet was hot. Overall everything was fine, but got down graded because of such slow service. read more

More often than not I order online and go pick up my food. My experience with Chili's take-out has never been great. This last time, I ordered chicken fried steak with extra gravy, loaded mashed potatoes, and coleslaw because they had no corn on the cob. The loaded mashed potatoes and chicken fried steak were excellent, but I did not receive extra gravy, which was fortunate, because the gravy was so salty I could not eat it. I had to scrape it off my meat throw it in the trash. The coleslaw was practically dry. Eating dry coleslaw is not good. It is a waste of time and my money. I am not at all impressed, but quite the opposite. I am tired of being disappointed with their inattention to detail, so next time my wife wants to order from Chili's, I will vote NO. read more

After years of enjoying salsa from my local Chili's, I was disappointed because they changed the Recipe. It is sweet, bland and gross. This stuff is nasty. Honestly, I'd give it zero stars if I could. I'm not sure what has happened to this location, but it's pretty awful now. The Chili Queso isn't very good anymore. The lettuce for their side salads was so cold it had ice on it, which just makes it taste horrible. The chicken sandwich was black. So much so that the waitress had it taken off because she couldn't believe how burnt it was. They brought out a completely wrong kids meal (chicken instead of burgers) then when they did bring the cheese burgers out they didn't have cheese on them. The steak was cold and the avocados on top of the steak were ice cold too. Both bathrooms had one stall out of order and the other stall was disgusting in both restrooms. My family has always been big fans of Chili's. We all have our "go-to" favorites, plus enjoy many other options on the menu. But this Chili's has left a lot to be desired, every time. Our order this evening looked like it was made by a 5 year old. It's clear they do not care about presentation here. I ordered a quesadilla and received it falling apart, barely any cheese, no bacon, and the chicken was very dry. It was literally THROWN in the container - I thought it was nachos at first, that's what a mess it was. The pico, sour cream, and sauce containers were just thrown on top of it - some of them upside down. I ate part of it, only because I was hungry. But I threw most of it away. My husband's meal was messily presented too, and the chicken was rubbery and undercooked. The food was not hot as it should have been. Seemed like it had been sitting out for awhile. Really, if you don't want to work there, go find a new job. If you do want to work there, put some effort into doing a good job. read more

Went to Chili's tonight in Claremore. There was not a hostess on duty, which was fine. We Stood there quite awhile before anyone even acknowledged us. The restaurant wasn't even busy because there were a lot of empty tables. During the time we waited to be acknowledged and seated the woman that was working behind the bar had time to look at us five separate times as she wiped down the counters and stood there trying to look busy, the manager came out of the kitchen looked at at standing there, then walked over to the bar to talk to the woman working behind it, then turned around and looked at us standing there yet again as he turned around and walked off the other direction! There were also 4 separate servers that walked past us and never said anything. Now if these servers would have been carrying out food or drinks that would be one thing, but they had nothing in their hands, and still couldn't even ask if we had been helped. At this point I was ready to either walk out or grab some menus and seat us myself. Finally a girl walked up to the host stand and seated us. We ordered fairly quickly and we had our food pretty quick. The food itself was great and so was our server. The manager walker around the restaurant a couple of times asking tables if their food was ok. Each time he walked past our table and never said a word to us. I have worked in food service, and I know this is not how a restaurant should be ran. Poor excuse of a manager in my opinion. We will not be back to that location. read more

My wife, daughter and myself make well used to now. But we used to come to this restaurant at least 3 times a month. But the past 3 times have been very bad. All 3 times we have had different servers as well. Anyways we usually order the same thing when we go unless there is something new we want to try. But everytime we go we order our food. We have to remind them and ask everytime to bring out my wifes soup. When they do its always 2-4 mins before the main course is brought out. She always asks for extra Alfredo sauce at the time of order and when the meal comes out they "Forgot it" so they went to get it and she literally waits 10-15 mins for it to come out. When we ask our waiter about it he/she says that its "Beeing warmed up" 80% of the time we have to get there attention to refill our drinks. Like I said the past 3 times have been bot good at all. Each time ended with a table visit from a manager. Now we are not the type of people to complain to get free food or anything. But if the service isnt what it is supposed to be then I will complain. But I will say what food they do bring out on time is cooked correctly (Steak) and is hot and fresh which is awesome!! I just think that either a little bit more training is needed or have a couple more servers working so they can concentrate more on the customer thats they have. Over all the food is great when you get what you ordered. But the service is not on par. More like if Mcdonalds had servers is how I would compare them. read more

our son wanted to go there two days ago as we gave him a choice of places for lunch after finishing technical school. i had been once before and had not liked it so i never went back, but it was his choice. i ordered a half rack of baby back ribs with fries and a side salad. the waiter says, we have a special on that and you get a piece of cake too for the same price. i figured we could all share the molten chocolate cake so i said okay. he comes back form the kitchen and says, we don;t have any ribs. i look around me and the walls are covered with mirrors with their signature jingle "i want my baby back baby back ribs, and they don't have any. that' like mcdonalds with no burgers, kfc with no chicken, it's what they do. ordered an overpriced hamburger with a bun tougher than any combat boots i've ever worn. i won't be back, i'll go to rib crib, they have them. read more
