They didn't meet my expectations earlier today. They even served us cold coffee and charged some $3.5 for each cup of cold coffee. We brought this cold coffee issue to the waitress, but it was fixed 1x. The 2nd time asking for refill again, they sent me another cup of cold coffee. Ok, I make way tastier coffee at home than here. Seriously? I'm not coming back. They should have paid attention to the brewing pot and be diligent brewing. They didn't do anything as such, how rude! While the main dishes were fine, but having a decent cup of coffee with the main dish can go a long way. That failed to happen. I only kept it two stars were for the friendly hostess by the door. I finally tried Chili's for the first time in my life. I watched TV commercials of it growing up but never tried going to a Chili's until there was one near my job. Came on a week night (Tuesday) around 8:30 pm. Party of 5. The female server and guy who was cleaning not very friendly, both had an "I don't want to be here, hurry up and eat" energy towards us. The only friendly and lively interaction we got was from the bartender who helped bring over the drinks. But we didn't let that affect our friend's birthday celebration. Chili 3 for me deal! I got this to-go! I been loving this deal. It's a good deal if you want a burger but want a step higher than fast food. This gives you a choice of a drink, app, and an entree listed on the deal. I got an Arnold Palmer, side small salad (it's super small), and the smash burger. I enjoyed the whole meal. You can order other items too. My smash burger was on the lower tier deal. It came out to 10 buck but with tax it was around $12. The local Diamon Bar chilis. The windows are big and have great views of the valley, especially when sitting at the bar area. If your looking into happy hour, always look at the small print cause you might find some good deals on Pint Size beer. The To Go is also good and fast as I often order from there or pick up as an Uber Driver. Food is consistent and margaritas are always good. We like the happy hour margarita for its size and even though it is not always available, they can help us out. No wonder Michael Scott likes it so much! read more

I don't usually like writing reviews for chain restaurants, but if bad service is mostly highlighted in reviews for these type of restaurants, then I think good service that goes above and beyond should be as well. We ordered online the 3-for-me deal, and after I placed the order, I wanted to call and see if I could get the cheesecake added (I had mistakenly forgotten it on the combo during ordering). I tried to call & add, but I ended up being placed on hold with the supervisor, & the call was disconnected. It wasn't that big of a deal, so I didn't really bother trying again and gave up on it. However, the nice woman in the take-out area, I did not get her name, but she was a real one. She asked if I was able to talk to the manager when I arrived to pick up the order, which I explained the call got disconnected, but it was okay I didn't need it added. She ended up giving the cheesecake slice free of charge anyway. Just a cool gesture that I thought should be highlighted, & it's this kind of service that gets customers to come back to your restaurant. This chilis has survived so long in Diamond Bar. It has been a local staple for many people. They change their menu from time to time. I have been here a few times to grab lunch and dinner. Usually, I get the chicken fajitas which is made when you order it. Overall the food tastes pretty clean and different. If you sign up for their chili rewards program on their tablet you will get free chips and salsa for the meal you are having right then. I like sitting at their tables rather than booths because the booths seem to be a tad bit small. But I guess some people might prefer that. read more

This is Chili's nothing spectacular decent price for a good meal. We sat at the bar and although the bartender was very nice, it just felt like it took a long time to order and have our food arrive. Again it's OK if you're in the area and stop in for lunch but in terms of the quality of food it's OK at best still I have been here before and I knew what to expect. The bottomless soup and salad I think it's a good deal especially for lunch. You can mix and match on the soups which is great. read more

Took a couple co workers here for lunch today, right at 11. It took our food over 40 mins to arrive!! When I asked about it they said they had a 700.00 to go order, and were backed up, I asked could we at least get some chips and salsa to hold us over. Review specifically for managers! Stopped by with a friend last night for a quick dessert. After getting home, I realized I left my water bottle behind. Called this morning and was told by a FOH member that it wasn't in lost and found. Asked them to check the booth we were sitting at and once again was told it wasn't there. Decided to go in-person and check the booth myself. Left my contact info with the host in case they came across it. Friend went back near closing tonight and asked for a manager since we felt FOH was probably too busy to be looking well. Explained the situation and the manager instantly knew where it was, sitting on the bar. The bottle has sentimental value so we appreciated how kind and understanding he was. Great customer service. We went to this Chili's yesterday. The food was good. But the service was strange. First off, we were a bit earlier for lunch, so the restaurant wasn't crowded at all. It took, what turned out to be the bartender, five to eight minutes or more to acknowege us and then seat us. Then throughout our meal there were three wait/serving staff on duty, who epeatedly stoped by our table to ask if we needed anything. That sounds good, right? However, we counted them coming by, and then asking us, over 2 dozen times during the time we ate our salads. That was definitely service over-kill. Especially since they kept interrupting our conversation. Their timing was a huge distraction to the enjoyment of our meal. Lesson for the manager and staff: 1. Acknowledge the waiting customers within a minute or two of their arrival. Especially when the restaurant isn't crowded. "We'll be right with you." By the way, there was only one staff sitting at the bar. No customers when we arrived. 2. Its good to check if the customers need anything or if the meal is satisfactory. However, time your "rounds" with a longer time between the inquiries. Three, four at the most, total "walk-bys" is sufficient in the length of time it takes to eat a lunch meal. So this visit was ignore the customer who comes in. Then operation over-kill on staff inquires about "How is your meal?" or "Can I get you anything?", etc. If customers have the same experience we had, I think they'd think twice before returning to eat here. By the way there were only two of us at this seating. I seriously doubt that we will be coming back. read more

The server we had today, Lauren was very nice and easy to talk to, fun/down to earth servers like her need to be recognized and hopefully they get a raise. The food and drinks actually came out pretty fast and warm for a Saturday night. I was actually surprised at the end of our visit the manager had warned us while we were leaving that there was a suspicious person walking outside so he walked us out and watched out for us, same as the family that was leaving after us, it was a very kind gesture. I'm only giving a 4 star because I didn't really like the chili and enchilada soup, i know it's a different kind but chili at Wendy's is better and the enchilada soup just tasted like melted enchiladas I will definitely come back to this location but won't be getting those two dishes again lol not my thang. But the brisket quesadillas were actually good it tasted like sloppy joes but in a tortilla and my kids liked the pizza they serve here better than Applebees. read more

I met my friend Eric here three nights ago before we headed to LA to see the Kings versus the Maple Leafs hockey game. I miss coming to this Chili's because I used to work near here for 20 years. The waitress that I had was really nice! Her name is Wendy. She works in the bar area and is really attentive! My friend and I started out with my free chips and salsa that I had on my account. Always so yummy to start. We both ordered cokes, I asked for grenadine in mine to make it a cherry coke. Refreshing! My friend and I blew through two baskets of the chips! We also ordered the same thing from the 3 for Me menu, the Old Timer burger, fries, and baked potato soup. Everything was so delicious! The burgers were perfectly cooked!!! We got all this great food for $24 total plus tip. You can't beat that! Before leaving, the restroom was clean. I also love coming here because it is always clean inside and out, and is also in a nice area. I was glad to watch some other hockey game at the bar area.
