The one bright spot was the crab and artichoke dip, which was tasty and well-prepared. What ultimately soured the evening, however, was the lack of hospitality. We originally came for the game and dessert and decided to stay for dinner. After our meal, I requested a dessert menu. The bartender handed me one and then casually informed me that the kitchen had already closed. There was no apology, no effort to accommodate us, and no prior warning that the kitchen would be closing. Had we been informed while ordering dinner, we would have happily ordered dessert at the same time. Instead, we were left looking at a menu for items that were no longer available. Good hospitality is about anticipation and communication. Telling paying guests after the fact that they can no longer order dessert because the kitchen has closed reflects a lack of attentiveness and customer care. Four visits were enough. There are too many restaurants that value both food quality and guest experience for me to give this one a fifth chance.
