-Update: Returned twice since the time this Chillis was closed. Good food, good drinks, descent service. -Update : As of Thursday 1 August 2019 at 6:30pm arrived and it was closed. A sign stated closed due to maintenance issues. Really enjoyed our visit to Chilis. The restaurant had the right atmosphere. I enjoy the bar and Tv sitting. Enjoyed the good and amable costumer service. Tried their $5 month rita special, it was huge, and delicious yet full of ice so in a way it was deceivingI highly recommend this Chilis location.

Our appetizers of nachos took over 40 minutes to come out due to not having the tortillas. The beef on the nacho meat is totally cremated, and even though we waited so long the cheese was hard once we received it-- it was barely warm. The waiter was attentive and checked on us often. I don't usually frequent this location, I think I'll stick to the EASTSIDE locations. Thumbs down

The 6oz sirloin steak with grilled avocado was really good. It could be the best meal I've ever had at Chili's. The meat was so tender and cooked perfectly. What made me decide to give 3 stars was because our server wasn't good. She wanted to take our order less than 1 minute after we got our menu, and when we said we weren't ready she never came back forever. My husband was getting frustrated, the restaurant was FREEZING so I was feeling uncomfortable, so we couldn't really enjoy our meal. But anyways, you should sign up for their reward program if you come to Chili's often. Every time you go there and order something, you earn points. We never really come to Chili's but when my husband signed in, he already had enough points to get free deserts and appetizers.

The Westside Chili's is better, but they're both three stars. Is that weird? My feelings on Chili's in general are very complex and while I never choose Chili's over a local option (because my experiences in local establishments are generally better from the taste and presentation to the whole environment) occasionally I find myself with very limited options for food because of how ridiculously late it is. And in those situations I usually opt for Chili's because, you know, consistency and decent prices and yada yada yada. Last week Christofer and I wanted to grab a late night dinner and immediately settled on Chili's since it was the closest open business. It was kind of surreal walking into this particular Chili's and finding that nothing had changed since the last time I was there (we're talking 3+ years). It's almost as if they did this on purpose, knowing that one day I would return. It's clean and they've kept it in tip-top shape. We were greeted and seated as soon as we walked in and our waiter came over in a jiffy. As per my usual, I ordered a flavor tea and the only thing I can say that Applebee's has on Chili's is the fact that their flavored teas are three times better. I decided I just wanted the chips with guacamole and I would do a dessert. Our food came out quickly and the chips were everything I wanted them to be, but the guac was a smaller portion than what I get at the Westside Chili's. No biggie though since I'm pretty much obsessed with the super watery salsa served on the side that shouldn't be good, but just is. Those chips are thin little pieces of salted ecstasy. Drool, seriously. When we were all finished up with our meals we both ordered skillet cookies. I landed on the chocolate chip, but I substituted the hot fudge for "an uncomfortable amount of caramel". And an uncomfortable amount of caramel I was served. Our server just get's me. The caramel was layered and pooling on top of the cookie with delicious vanilla ice cream melting on top. This is all I want in life! I ended up finishing more than half of this gooey, chocolatey deliciousness and new that I'd be in a food coma for a while. Overall still my favorite chain in the Northeast and service was and is always great (even if our server did seem to have more tables than one should, but he handled them expertly). One thing that I did forget while at this Chili's is the fact that I'm signed up for their e-mails so I definitely had a coupon or something for at least one of these dishes (usually you get a free dessert or app with a purchase of an entree...I would've added an entree had I remembered this). But all in all, Chili's prices are pretty reasonable. Apps ballpark around $10 and desserts are around $6. What I'm trying to say is, you can splurge at Chili's, it will not break the bank.

This meal was pathetic and gross, too spicy! And I didn't get a straw with my to-go meal and drink.

I had just flown in from the airport, and my brother arranged it as a special family gathering. Everything started normally: we were seated, ordered our food, received our drinks, and enjoyed the complimentary chips and salsa. Then my sister (who is LGBTQ+) stepped away to use the restroom. When she returned and sat down, a manager approached our table and loudly told her--in front of other diners--that "MEN cannot use the female restroom." My sister was mortified and humiliated by the public confrontation. The manager's tone and assumption were shocking and clearly discriminatory. We immediately got up and left without eating. This wasn't about enforcing any legitimate policy; it was rude, insensitive, and targeted. My adult sister is perfectly capable of reading the restroom signs herself--no one needed to police or shame her in such a way. The incident felt rooted in homophobia and transphobia from management. We will never return to this place, and we will actively discourage others--especially LGBTQ+ individuals and allies--from patronizing it. What should have been a joyful family milestone was ruined by bigotry. Avoid this establishment if you value respect and inclusivity.

Which were good (lacked a little crisp but had good flavor). The green salsa at the table was fantastic, a little slice but a ton of flavor. Everything was fresh, the chips were freshly baked, the rice was not day old rice like at so many places around here it was good and actually had some flavor, the beans were good (the bright orange color of the beans surprised me, turmeric? Regardless they were delicious). Unfortunately the meat had zero spices, not even salt. The only reason not taking off a star is the salsa paired perfectly with the shredded beef tacos and the green chili burger, but a little bit of salt would have elevated the meal for sure. There was no salt on the meat in any of the meals we'd ordered. The coffee was good and strong, the mugs weren't tiny little mugs they actually gave you enough coffee to enjoy and the experience over all was wonderful. A splash of Texas and a sprinkle of Mexican bring this BBQ to over the top flavor town. Yup, I said. I envoked the Guy Fiere-ism. The BBQ is only available Fri-Sun, and it's located inside Fanatics on Montwood and Lee Trevino. The bar is a little divey, but it's clean and spacious. The times we've gone it's never super full, and the micheladas are cold. The bloody Mary's are on point if you like some spicy kick. Papamigos has an extra special Sun brunch yumminess as well. Check out their IG for pics. I haven't tried it, but we've tried their whole regular menu and nom nom nom. Here are some of our favs: The brisket is the most tender I've had. They have an AMAZING brisket taco with freshly homemade tortillas topped with an egg. Sigh! Foodiegasm! The pulled pork is tender and flavorful. It's little pork pillows of bursting flavor. The pork ribs are fall of the bone tender. My husband, an avid griller and smoker, took several mins to say something. That silence spoke volumes! The macaroni and coleslaw salads. These are not your traditional sides. They're light and compliment the BBQ perfectly. The coleslaw is a vinger slaw that is flavorful but light and balances the fattiness of the meats perfectly. The macaroni is this awesome combo of macaroni and elote. It's light and citrusy and comes topped with tajin. Just taste it. None of that heavy mayo mess here. (Trigger warning for mayo lovers.) The salsas are all homemade and have flavor but don't overpower all the smokey flavor they put into the meat. Below are pics of what we had today. The sausage bites and a two meat combo. This was more than enough for two people. Extra special: The place is run by brothers. They are orignially from the Valley but moved to EP. One of them always come out to check on you and ask about the flavor. Some might not like the chit-chat, but we do. It's quite clear they care about the food their making, and the food tastes like the love they put into it.

Unfortunately, that loyalty came to an end after a recent experience that was both disappointing and unacceptable. My family and I chose this restaurant to celebrate a birthday. Every guest paid separately, and there were no issues during the evening itself. However, as the event concluded, multiple attendees, including family members and in-laws, overheard servers making derogatory comments about our party. Among the remarks were that we were "ungrateful," "cheap," and "broke," along with other inappropriate comments that no customer should ever have to hear. I brought the matter to the attention of ownership, hoping for a meaningful resolution. While I was told the employees had been reprimanded, the proposed remedy was a $25 gift card. After nearly 18 years of patronage, the response felt dismissive and only added insult to injury. What disappoints me most is not simply the behavior of the staff, but the lack of accountability and concern shown afterward. This was a place I once considered a reliable and welcoming destination for family gatherings and celebrations. Sadly, that trust has been lost. As a result, I will no longer be returning or recommending this establishment to friends, family, or colleagues. Respect for customers should be a fundamental part of any hospitality business, and in this case, that standard was not met.

Trouble. Again, there is pretty limited parking so it's kind of hit and miss whether you'll find a spot or not. Fortunately, I did. When you walk up to the place, the building itself is pretty nondescript. They have a nice selection of outside seating, and your window to order is outside. Very nice lady at the counter gave me helpful suggestions and so I ordered three tacos and an amazing lime and cucumber fresca.
