The hostess/greeter was very polite when we arrived. She continued to be polite as she rattled off everything that the restaurant was out of for that day...about a dozen items: mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders, soup, certain drinks, pasta, and two types of burgers, etc. Though I am very grateful that she forewarned us before she seated us, I am appalled that a restaurant chain such as Chili's would even allow the restaurant to open (or stay open) when so many food items were not available. The restaurant was clean and kinda empty for a Sunday afternoon. I got a cup of chicken anchalida soup,Luke warm but tasty, really small cup for 5 dollars. My meal consisted of a 6 Oz sirloin steak it was cooked just right, but I don't think it was 6 Oz 4 tops,maybe it was 6 before cooking, everything potatoes was Luke warm as well the cheese had stopped melting and the broccoli was cooked to death. My spouse and I are seniors, (83 and 90 Years old.) We went for dinner on Fathers Day. Bad time to go unless you are a young family. Long over hour wait for table. Music was extremely loud. We couldn't talk over it. Once we were seated, service was decent. We both had the baby back ribs which were tender and tasty, good sides. We took home doggy bags. It was not an enjoyable experience because it was so noisy. I developed a a headache and had to leave before we finished eating. The atmosphere seems to be more suitable for young people. read more

Didn't take long to be seated with the wait (15-25 min) but the waitress took a while. There was a table that got sat 10 minutes after us and still got their drinks and food before us. I had ordered alcoholic drinks and watched as they sat for about 15 minutes before someone finally attempted to serve them, even after there was about 3-4 people that seen the drinks there including our waitress. I would stick with the Chili's at Chicago Ridge. We ordered the texas cheese fries and they were nasty- dried out more cheese than anything else. It's been 25 minutes and we STILL haven't received our food. I had to ask twice to receive my salad before the meal. The margarita was watery and had no alcohol in it. I should've known to leave when a lady to the left of us was complaining about how she still didn't receive items she ordered. 2/10 would not recommend. I ordered soup and salad. The soup was bland and the salad was lettuce, shredded cheese and I asked for no croutons but got them anyway. My daughter's cheese sticks were wet meaning partly done; they recooked them instead of making her fresh ones. She didn't eat them. For some reason they took Caesar salad off menu and my daughter and another person asked for that salad. Apparently it's a good item, why remove it? The drinks were the best thing. After a long day of shopping, me and my girl decided to stop into Chili's for a meal. It had been quite awhile since I've eaten at Chili's and there are not many in the Chicago area, especially on the north side. We walked in and were greeted by the host who told us immediately that there would be 20 minute wait for a table. I didn't mind waiting, but me and my girl were both confused because we saw plenty of empty, clean tables around the restaurant. Time passed, and we were seated promptly at one of the tables that I saw was empty when were first entered the restaurant, and the restaurant wasn't busy at all so why the wait? We were waiting for a good 10 mins before someone came to take care of us. She was nice and took our orders promptly, but after that, she didn't really check on us that much. We got our appetizer, the trio platter which was pretty good. The sliders were pretty flavorful. We got our main dishes and I was pretty satisfied with my shrimp tacos, but my girl unfortunately discovered a hair in her food. The only thing I can say is that it was really clean. The wait time was kinda long for 9:30pm on a Saturday night for just 2 people, especially after dinner rush is over (the reason we waited until after 9 to go out). We looked over the menu while we waited so we'd know exactly what we wanted to make it easier for everybody... but once we were finally sat, no one came to greet us, so we sat at the table for 45 minutes without even water, much less a server. The hostess was friendly, but no one came to our table. A few serves walked by, took care of other tables literally right next to us, but didn't say hello or anything, and no one asked if we needed anything. We went out to have nice dinner but never had anyone to take our order. I understand people are understaffed, but at least communicate. No one said "Hey I'll be with you in just a moment" or anything. I just really didn't have a good time because I didn't get the opportunity. We walked out the door and the hostess said "have a good one," and I said "...we didn't even get waited on..." and she said "oh ok I'm sorry, have a good night." Normally I would have tried to grab someone's attention about this, but it's honestly not my job to coordinate the restaurant's distribution and delegation of duties. I'm just really disappointed. Very slow service. We ordered our babies food right when we sat down and it arrived only after we had to ask for it two more times, arriving last to our table. The restaurant was out of chips at 6pm on a Friday evening. They also charged us a 2.99 table entertainment fee. I went here with my friends and the service was genuinely outrageous. They took an hour to bring us our food after we ordered, some people who came after we did got their food before us. Our server ignored our table for most of our time there besides us ordering our food and drinks. When we did get our food, two of my friends were not initially given silverware when they needed it to eat their food, so they ask the server who gave us our food to bring silverware. They did not give them silverware for another like, 20 minutes, so we had to flag down the server who was ignoring us to get the silverware. The machines we use to pay weren't working, so we couldn't split the bill of 91 dollars. Fortunately, one of my friends payed for it on his card and we paid him back. When we were tipping, one of us left a physical tip of ten dollars, so my friend paying for anything didn't circle any of the tip options on the receipt when he was paying. The best food at Chili's are delicious and and not that expensive. What I recommend are the chicken tenders and fries with corn and ranch. Also mix the ketchup with the ranch and it is so delicious. The service is ok not bad but they are nice that they deserve a rip at least. They are just good employees who want to do a good job at their job. The inside is great to the little game systems are awesome but not free I like the TV's they have you to watch while you eat. When I was about 6-8 years old I only get the pizza fries and mandarin oranges. And that's it. So overall Chili's is one of if not the best restaurants in the city of Chicago.
