My review is based on a pick up order for a salad ... ease of ordering was a 10 (done on line). My order was complete upon arrival. Upon entering there's no greeting, but ok. There is no clear sign on where to go to pick up an order. Both both tenders may ignore you (they ignored me) The kitchen staff was friendly though and helped me pick up my order. My salad was very mid. Large portion, but zero taste. Based on the reception I would likely not return. The pictures of their other food looks tasty, but I doubt I would return. Very disappointing experience. I arrived and picked up my order before the estimated pickup time, yet my burger and fries were already cold and had no flavor. I called and spoke with both an employee and the manager. Instead of offering to remake my meal or provide a refund, I was simply told to call the manager directly the next time so she could make sure my food was prepared properly. As a paying customer, I expected them to make this order right, not ask me to give them another chance at my own expense. It's been way too long since our last visit! Stopped in Wednesday afternoon for some food and beverage. Had the Fish Tacos and Buffalo Shrimp. Missed Taco Tuesday's special :-( The fish was fried perfectly, slaw was crisp and fresh with a hint of a bite. Buffalo Shrimp had the right amount of heat. Went with the blue cheese sauce (ranch also an option). Very tasty with some nice chunks of blue cheese ;-) The place is charming, inviting and super clean. Came here on a Sunday afternoon and it's definitely a hidden gem. Not crowded at all and the staff is super friendly. Ordered the New Fashion drink along with BBQ wings, Buffalo wings, and fries. Everything was good!! Sat at the bar and they had several TVs for viewing along with a gaming area in the back which a lot of people enjoyed. The cod and fries was good but maybe the grease needed changing because the fish was a little dark but overall pretty tasty. The steak sandwich was reported as very tasty. Sweet potato fries were good. My partner had grilled chicken, mashed potatoes, and asparagus which she enjoyed. The service was nice as our waitress provided suggestions and was prompt. Went there for breakfast a few times, and it was the worst. It was like I got a Child's portion for $15.00. Haven't been back.

We headed here for lunch after a travel baseball game in the area. Great food and service from start to finish. We had kids with us (ages 7-13) and they were entertained by the games the bar had on hand (Hungry Hungry Hippos & Sorry). Also, they had outlets conveniently located on the wall (plugs and phone adapters) which were a nice bonus. The bar itself was clean including the dining area and bathrooms. Overall a wonderful experience for a first timer. We will be back for sure! read more

Updating my review: We came here yesterday for brunch, and nearly all of the tables were occupied. That's a pretty good sign that they're doing something right. We each ordered a bottomless mimosa which they serve you in a stemless champagne flute, they cap you at 2 hours, and you can definitely taste the alcohol -- they're not like other places where you get more juice than actual alcohol. I did the steak and eggs, and my partner did the pancakes. Since we arrived at noon, we were given the option for both brunch and lunch menu. So, we decided to do the hangover -- comes with a pizza puff, French fries and cheese curds. We also did an order of nachos with sour cream and guacamole. Stopped in here with a group of 8 on a Wednesday afternoon. We called ahead to warn them. Bartender doubled as waitress and she busted her butt to serve us. Mixed drinks were strong and tasty. Beer was cold. Food was decent enough to warrant more visits in the future. I ordered the daily special patty melt with tots. Medium rare, which the cooks got just right. Props! The waitress was good on checking on us and making sure we didn't need anything else. Decor: It's a nice neighborhood bar. It's very open and updated. Don't get discouraged from the outside store front, like we were. There's a bunch of tvs to watch sports. The bar is very nice! I love the concept. Food: Their orange juice is a bit more tangy than sweet. I had the house skillet, it was really good. Their potatoes aren't like hash browns but actual potatoes, it made the skillet unique. The jalapeños are some of the hottest I ever had, very fresh. So beware. I'm glad I stopped here, I would recommend to others and return. They had a lot of specials for each day. We ordered a bunch of shareable menu items and have to say we were definitely satisfied with all our orders. Hangover fries are a great concept, pizza puff threw me off from being on that list, but in the end it is a good choice. We tried the mixed wings and the flavoring on these was amazing paired with a nice crunch to the wings. Steak tacos were another great menu item, nicely presented with adequate portions. Mac N Cheese with Brisket was so flavorful and had just the right amount of creaminess. The drinks we ordered were also delicious from the Blue Lemonade to their Moscow Mule. If you're looking for a great burger spot in oak lawn this might be it! I had the Farmhouse burger cooked medium rare and it was perfect! So juicy and flavorful and the fries were a great addition. I was also craving some wings and ordered the 12 jumbo crispy chicken wings with half barbecue and half buffalo and they did not skimp. It was actually too much for us and we had enough to take home as leftovers. I had the Lemon garlic shrimp with angel hair pasta. Unfortunately the lemon was sooo intense and over powering that I couldn't enjoy it. My BF tried it and agreed. I mentioned it to the server and she said "I'll mention it to the cooks to dial down the lemon". The asparagus was cut up to tiny tiny pieces that I thought they were peas. I felt like what was on my plate was a mix of an older batch and a fresh batch. Hubby said his were perfect, and I only eat about half an order anyway so I didn't bother to ask for new ones. I had the smoked brisket sandwich which was very good. The garlic toast bun was well flavored and a good compliment to the meat. I don't like onion and I also don't care enough for cheese to consume the extra calories so I had my sandwich very plain and the meat was delicious! It tasted great totally unadorned. Hubby had a burger, he enjoyed it except that his top bun as so burnt he couldn't eat it. When she put his plate down on the table we could all see it was inedible. She offered to get him another one when she came back with the third person's dinner but the rest of his meal was hot and there so he didn't want to wait for them to toast a new one. We felt like the kitchen never should have sent it out in that state. The third person in our group raved about the Risotto but I thought the bite I had was slightly undercooked and the flavor didn't wow me, but I'm a snob when it comes to risotto. Nothing they serve in a bar can compare to homemade, totally fresh ingredient risotto. All that to say, it's a sports bar, if I ate there again I'd definitely stick to the sandwiches. read more

Went to this restaurant to get a to go order. I had to wait quite a while to put in the order and waited ever longer for my order to be ready. I had to ask for water and then I also had to ask for a straw. I felt invisible so I just sit there. When I finally got my food no late apology was given. I asked them if they were on Yelp Angelica gave a Rude remark so I told her I would not be back she said good have a nice day. I just don't know what to say about this place. Are they are a "bar" or are they a "diner?" They seem to want to have it both ways. It certainly is not a "bar and grill." First it's way too bright in the place. They need to dim it down a bit. Perhaps more wooden tables and countertops would help. Food? I had breakfast there. It was awful. I've had drinks there. The drinks were decent. So let's commit to being a bar and grill. Give me a menu of burgers, tacos, and wings. Lose the eggs. The pictures of the food looked great and it made me think food would be delicious but honestly it's by far one of the worst meals I've had. I took two bites from my burger and tossed out. The meat from the burger was rubbery and seemed like it had been cooked frozen. Buffalo sliders were missing flavor. The jumbo wings were very salty and dry. I've been here a lot. I've tried almost everything on the menu. I decided today after several visits that I should give them a review. Here goes....today I had the Sirloin sandwich, it did not disappoint. Fresh cut sirloin on a garlic roll topped with cheese and caramelized onions; it was very good, although I did like it a little better when they served it with au ju, now they serve it with chimichurri sauce but other than that still a great sandwich. The service was good, our waitress was very polite and attentive. Overall this place has great food, I've never actually had something I didn't like and I've had everything from the Tacos, nachos, burgers, wings, you name it, it has all been pretty good food. The only downside to this place is the service. My most recent visit today was great but in the past the service has been terrible. Because of service fiascos in the past they don't earn a 5th star from me but maybe they have it figured out now. More visits and time will tell. I good friend of mine introduced me to this establishment a few years ago and I have been a customer ever since but this is my very first review, and long over due. They just recently went under new management and the menu has changed. However, needless to say the food is still good. They have a happy hour special every day of the week that includes food and drinks. They also have trivia nite one day of the week which is a lot of fun. The bartenders are very welcoming and greet and serve you as soon as you sit down. On yesterday, I had the fish tacos (they offer corn and flour tortillas, most places don't) and they are loaded with all kinds of good stuff (sour cream, guacamole, lettuce, tomato and some kind of special sauce). I will definitely grab a pic on my next visit. I must advise the fish is fried not grilled. The wings are huge and are made to order. The fries is such a large order, so be ready to share! Their salads are filled with all kinds of freshness. They have four large screen televisions that are always on sports or news. They also offer gaming in the back. The offer high bar seating, seating at the bar and tables in the back. The ladies restroom is always clean and well stocked.
