Terrible service only got one glass of tea. Food was cold after waiting a hour for it. Will never go back.

Ate at chilis again on our way back from the VA. Everything was great except, the ribs were a smaller portion & a little dry. The staff was very good. I woud have given 5 starts if it wasn't for the ribs. To be honest, I wasn't real happy with the amount of ribs, taste or them being dry. Curbside is a joke! I showed up on time and watched the staff mess around for 20 minutes or so. I sat there just to see how long it would take. I saw two other curbside folks wait and eventually walk in. They got there food as soon as they walked in. I waited another 10 minutes. Eventually I walked in and he said "oh, I didn't see you there". Are you serious??! Grabbed my cold food and threw them a one dollar bill!! I want my dollar back!! Y'all are terrible!!!!! read more

Would rather hit Applebees everytime... Nothing is great here. Food is so so and service is less than memorable.

We used to come here a lot, as a family and bringing big groups! The manager was great and so was the staff! However, there is a new manager now and the last 3 times we have been here EVERYTHING has been horrible. It takes Forever for you to get initially waited on, Forever for you to get your drinks and if you order appetizers it will take you 30 minutes to get that. Our food has taken at least 45 minutes to get and then it is cold. We kept thinking it was new management and new staff .....but.....strike 3 your out!!! Terrible service and food! Don't waste your time or money! ...or Bring back the old manager and staff!!! read more

Food was decent. Apparently I went on a busy day it was Veterans day the whole crew seemed a little irritated like they were tired of serving Vets free foods? Don't know... Maybe they weren't getting tipped on the free food. I'm use to Las Vegas (where were from) where they have to earn their tips (To Insure Proper Service - tips) The only reason I loved going to Chili's was for the Country Fried Steak my favorite! Wasn't on the menu anymore but they said it was still available, but they were out... What? So I had the Chicken Strips with fries. It was OK batter was pretty soggy, fries were cold. Wife had Fajitas she said it was pretty good. Had the Ole Chips and Salsa or should I say salt crumbs. So much salt and all the chips were broken into little pieces like it was the bottom of the chips. I sure hope next time is better and they have Chicken Fried Steak otherwise it will be my last. read more

My daughter and I work really weird retail hours, so we eat at odd times of the day. We live in Terrell, but eat in Forney a lot! We eat at Chili's at least three times a month. We use their App and curb side service usually every time. This time we ordered, paid on line and went to pick up food at curb side service. We did what it asked us to do. We text "here" (at 11:18 am) and waited. At 11:30 am, we had to call as no one acknowledged us. Kelsey answered the phone and said, "we don't have a "to go" person right now and she would get our order and bring it out. (Food was said to be ready at 11:16 am). At 11:38 am , my daughter had to go in and get the food and asked to speak to a manger. Manager Jay came over and Kelsey said "she's only been waiting a couple of minutes." My daughter voiced her concern to the manager , his response was "I'm sorry, next call your order in and ask for me." Really? Were you not listening? We had an issue with wait time and curb side service! When getting ready to leave, Kelsey ran up and put more food in the sack. Had we not asked to speak to the manager we would have left food behind. Once again his response was very inadequate. Never said, I'll speak with the staff, we'll disengage the curb side on the app, nothing! We got home, food was cold and wrong! I'll be taking my business elsewhere from now on. Lived in the Forney area for around 13-14 years now, so we've been to this Chili's many times. Service is usually good, food is okay, but not spectacular. This last meal was a bomb though. Ordered online to pick up, which is a great convenience by the way, and got there 5 minutes before the expected delivery time. They brought the food out exactly to the minute when they said it would be ready... great! Got it home and wished we had gone elsewhere. Mom ordered the shrimp tacos with loaded potato and asparagus ($1.00 upcharge). Tacos were okay. Asparagus was stringy and limp. Wife ordered the mixed fajitas (steak and chicken)... no guac, sour cream, or pico de gallo was in the bag. I ordered the chicken tenders with corn on the cob and cole slaw. Corn looked and tasted like it had been in boiling water for hours, no extra ranch as I requested. We also ordered the southwest eggrolls, they came oil soaked and limp. ALL of the food was cold or lukewarm at best (we live only 5 minutes away... not the time it took to get it home). Poor performance across the board on the food. read more

This particular Chili's has had its ups and downs. I "like" it, and I "don't like it"; all at the same time. I guess it depends on what time of the day you go and who's working there when you go. I've had both, good and bad experiences here. It's 'hit and miss' with me as far as the service that I get when I do go. read more

My family and I visited this location on Mother's Day and when I tell you it was a wonderful experiance. From start to finish. My husband and I visited this location maybe a year in a half ago and we had a not so pleasant experiance so we vowed not to return to any chilis but be that it may all my family that came to visit wanted chilis so we tried to sway them to another eatery and we did. So we ended up going to chilis due to the other restaurants wait.. I have to say I'm very embarrass because the experiance that we receive was so great that I had to take this time out of my day to write something... The host was so professional, didnt get her name but she had a golden head ban on and she wore glasses., but what really amaze me was the manager she was Truly 10 stars.. My son was crying and she made him smile and made the entire table laugh until he forgot what he was crying for...didn't get her name as well but she had big curly fun hair .food was hot and fast and we had 15 ppl in our group...the service we received from this staff and manager will be the topic on the table when we choose a place to get good eats and have a fun casual expieriance. I would give this particular Chili's a -5 if I could. We waited here for 30 minutes while there were 6 tables clean and ready to sit people. When we asked the hostess did she know what we were waiting on she just stared at us blankly. We then asked for a manager and a Shawn Casper came over and while I was asking him what we were waiting on he started talking over me to my husband. After a discussion took place he then said we had to wait in a rotation. So he said we were waiting on bigger table of 5 to be seated and there table wasn't ready yet. We then said so we have to wait for a table for two in which you have several until a table of 5 becomes available? The worst service and had to be the most asinine reason yet. Don't recommend. Will follow up with a regional manager. Not even sure if Shawn is a general manager. I would hope Chili's would not place a person like him in an actual management position. Extremely rude and not about customer service at all. Will not be back to this location. read more

Awful service! Went for dinner at 10pm to find the hostess on his phone and told us to sit ourselves in the bar area. We then walked over to the bar area which had about 8 empty tables, all of which were dirty. My husband asked someone to clean a table, who did so begrudgingly as he told us his shift was almost over. We then sat down for 10 minutes as servers walked by us and never stopped. We finally left when it became clear no one was going to wait on us. Clearly the management was not supervising staff or the quality of service. We have had several experiences at this location getting wrong orders but this was by far the worst. Next time we will go to Applebee's and skip the whole ordeal. read more

I only gave this place one star because I had to. The customer service here is non existent. We came here at 10:30 on a Saturday night and the hostess had to assist us with our order. Keep in mind, there were only seven other parties seated in the restaurant. The other members of the wait staff were standing around starring at us. Funny thing is, we were Black and so was the hostess. I hate to play the race card, but this was blatant in your face racism. Come on Chilli's of Forney. This is the year 2015 and all money is green. Now to blame myself, this is the second and absolute last poor customer service experience I have had at this establishment. Fool me once shame on you, but I am merciful. Everyone deserves a second chance. You all need to better train employees and get with the times. I would never call myself a waitress and not acknowledge my customers within 1-5 minutes of being seated. This is a growing area, get over the fact that the town is no longer what you may have envisioned from your early childhood days! It's like stealing....I can believe they added more to my bill, on my receipt I wrote/totaled 56.00 on my total which was my bill with the tip together. When I cleared my register two days later, it cleared for 60.00. No one just does that.....they totally just added more of a tip for themselves. read more

Well we decided to give Chili's another try. We are 45 minutes in and still have not received our food. Our waitress is very good and do not feel she is to blame, but this is my last time here. We have given this Chili's several chances and every time the wait is ridiculous. read more

Place is trash! Food and service both! This is the first place in my life I didn't leave a tip. The food was awful and service.. what service? there was none. I even gave the guy a chance thinking he was new and asked another employee if he just started. She said "no why?" I replied with just asking and stuck my tip back into my wallet. The service is usually awesome. I highly recommend using the call ahead seating to avoid the long wait times on the weekends or busy times (this place is usually packed). Love that they have the devices at the table that allow you to order more drinks from the bar and desserts, also we don't have to wait for the server to bring us our check, we just pay at the table then head out on our way.
