Today's experience was exceptional. The wait person was very friendly and pleasant. We ordered and received our meals quickly. Recently I had a bad experience with their delivery when I ordered online. But this was a very positive experience. There were three of us. The other two ladies ordered from the kids menu, they got the same thing: chicken strips with broccoli and one of them added an extra side of mashed potatoes. They raved about how tasty their food was. I ordered the bowl of soup and salad combo. The chicken enchilada soup was delicious, and the salad was perfect--fresh, crunchy greens with plenty of tomato, which I like. We got there for lunch when they opened because I had to be somewhere in an hour, and I wasn't disappointed with how quickly they served us. The place was quieter since they hadn't been open long. All in all it was a very nice meal. I would recommend dining in, rather than getting delivery. There are a few kinks that they need to work out to get orders correct and food fresh. The only reason I ever go to Chili's is their queso burger. Im not very adventurous with burgers, I usually just get a classic cheeseburger but this is the one exception. The queso burger is always amazing with pico and tortilla strips and obviously the queso. Definitely worth a try. Otherwise the rest of the food is decent. I would not recommend the fried pickles though. They tasted like they were made in the toilet. Very bad after taste and too much breading. The absolute worst food I've ever had in Texas. Food has dramatically changed here the past 10-20 years. All their food is now frozen. I had the triple play, which they've had forever. The chicken crispers used to be fresh and the batter would fall off the chicken. Now they're dino nuggets. The fries are frozen and incredibly dry. If you can't cut potatoes and put them in the fryer, you have incredibly lazy management and leadership. I understand inflation. I understand times are tough. The answer is not to nickle and dime your food costs and give a horrible product to your client base. These restaurants need to stand up to what's going on. Went yesterday with my 3 young kids for lunch. Got seated right away but then waited 10+ minutes for our waitress. Took another 15 minutes til we got our drinks (waters and kids drinks) She took our order, was served our food and asked if we needed anything else (just a side of ranch took 15 minutes ) I usually tip good service- I didn't tip at all. This was by far the worst service ever, the waitress was young and blonde but not attentive to our table whatsoever which is frustrating when my young children are just waiting around. Even waiting for her to bring back to-go boxes took over 5 minutes. The food however was great. But they need to get new staff, or better training. I do not plan on going back. read more

We went here last night on a Tuesday night. It was pretty busy, but we were able to get seated right away when we entered. You can tell the place was understaff as there were only 3 servers for the whole restaurant, but they made the best out of the situation. The cool part is they have the portal where you pay which I prefer as sometimes it can take forever to get your bill. If you sign up on their app, you get a free chips and salsa or a non alcoholic drink which was nice. It is advertised everywhere, I guess it is good marketing for them. We got our chips and salsa and thank god is was for free as the chips and salsa was okay lots of crumbs as I felt we got the leftovers. We ordered the ribeye for $20 and I got the Alex burger for $10 dollar. Burger and fries itself was good and filled me up. It did not have mayo or a special sauce, I ended up with ketchup with the taste. Do not order the ribeye as my wife said the steak was well done and not medium rare and tasted really old. After another 10 minutes we are brought the wrong drink order. Another 5 minutes goes by and a waitress comes to take our order. She is friendly but never gives her name. We order. 10 minutes later the correct drinks show up. Never given straws or flatware. 10 more minutes here is our salads. Still no flatware, waitress puts the salads on the table and just walks away. We have to flag down a random person who works here for flatware. It arrives and so does our dinner. I had ordered medium well sirloin, mac& cheese and loaded mashed potatoes. The potatoes were great. I cut into my steak, it's rare. Way to rare. I try the mac & cheese. It is refrigerator cold. WTH? I flagged down the hostess. She gets our waitress. I explain the issues. She says you ordered a rare steak. I said no I ordered medium well. She says it's the same thing. OMG! For real? She finally took my meal. 20 more minutes later my meal comes back. The rest of my party is finished and ready to go. I start to eat. The mac & cheese is wonderful! This is happened before however I keep trying to go back because they are local however I cannot continue to receive this quality of food. Ordered quesadillas. Hardly any chicken. Went in for a cold beer and get 2 dinners to carry-out on a sweltering late Monday afternoon this week. Kayla, the sweet, capable bartender was a breath of fresh air and pleasant to talk to. They weren't real busy at this time and my dinner order also included their great Grand Coconut Margarita for my wife. The food was great but Kayla explained the new Chili's policy for getting any alcohol to go must be ordered at their in-house 'to go counter' - she was NOT allowed to pour it, package it, and give it to me !! So I went over to the 'to go counter' where I had to deal with a very young kid who wasn't very proficient on the register pad. Had to wait for him to snag someone with experience on the proper data entry so ordering my Marg took awhile. You also have to pay right there so you end up doing 2 separate charges on your VISA. I hardly ever carry cash so this maneuver of getting a cocktail to go was a big skidmark on this particular Chili's experience. read more
