It has been a few years since I have been to this Chili's and I used to like those baby back baby back ribs with their sweet barbecue sauce. For some reason they decided to add a lot of cayenne pepper to both their sauce and dry rub. The first offering was HOT!! If one of the kids in my life had them they would have been crying on first bite. I asked why they were so hot and no had an explanation but they did bring out replacement ribs with the sauce on the side. Now i remember why i stopped coming here. Kid hated his fajitas, steak was tough and had no taste. The burger was disappointing, the avocado slices on it seem to turn to mush from the heat of the patty. The sauce that they lut on the burger also was not appealing at all. Dining room was clean, we were greeted quickly and unlike a lot of the other reviews are server was actually decent. Potato soup wasn't like i remembered it. I can understand when you order take out, things can get missed. However, the last time we ordered from there, my step daughter ordered the chicken fajitas. Of course her chicken didn't come with the rest of our food. So I called and talked to the manager. He blamed the door dasher for eating our chicken. He went on to tell me, he knew everything was in the bag, because he watched it be packed. Of course the bag came sealed, so I don't see how she could have gotten into our food. I will never come back here. The tops of the booths were all covered with dust, cleaning obviously isn't a priority here, food splatters on the dividers, the women's bathroom smelled like disgusting sewage and sulfur! They had a table in the middle of our section that was covered in dirty dishes and cups waiting to be bussed. If they could move them to that table, why couldn't they move them back to the sink? Not what I care to look at my entire meal. Took an hour from the time I arrived til I left. The waitress seemed swamped. The southwest chicken soup was good. The double burger was not. Thin, dry, charred patties, cheese, lettuce, tomato and mustard. No pickles or onions. Couldn't ask for any because our waitress never came back. She dropped off the food, brought some more water and was gone. The fries were the worst I had ever tasted, reminded me of old grease, and my son's macaroni and cheese tasted like nasty butter that had been reheated too many times. He wouldn't even eat and I don't blame him. I would have said no thanks to a box if our waitress had bothered asking but she never came back. The house salad was the tiniest I had ever seen, and my husband said the shrimp tacos were just okay. We paid our bill on the kiosk and got the heck out of there. My daughter went with friends before homecoming this past Saturday and my wife, son and I went separately that same day. There were differences in the service. My wife and I received good service with the wait staff and enjoyed our food. I had the smokehouse platter choosing the brisket quesadilla and chicken crispers. My son liked his wings and my wife enjoyed her fajitas. As for my daughter, she had her order messed up. She ordered a grilled avocado chicken sandwich with bacon and got nachos. Her friend ordered nachos (not what my daughter got) and he got a spicy chicken sandwich and had his nachos messed up as well. The staff were nice but they were super busy and not prepared in the kitchen that night. I'm used to waiting by now as good help is hard to find these days. As for getting the orders wrong, that just comes with proper expediting. So I will give an average review for this trip. In general, this location does well and the food is solid. My family and I stopped here last night for dinner before venturing to the mall. We got seated immediately and got our drinks taken quickly. Chili's has a spring summer menu and a fall and winter menu and its extensive. Once I decided on what I was getting, there was still three more pages to flip thru. The most popular item on the menu is the 2 for $20 menu and it comes with an appetizer. My family and I split the fried pickles and bottomless chips and guac. The pickles had a bite to them and could have been cooked a little longer while the Guac was perfect and not spicy! I had the grilled chickn salad for dinner. No complains. Has a citrus vinnegrete served with it. Large portion. Took some time to get drinks refilled, boxes, bill and a bag for all our boxes. Coming from London Ontario Port Huron is the border crossing into Michigan. We used to love frequenting Port Huron but now rarely do so as we venture into Clitnon Township and Metro Detroit where there is more buzz, shopping, and restaurants. While visiting Chilis in Port Huron we were reminded why we go into Metro now. It wasn't busy, and it took a long time to get seated. The vibe was very lackluster and slow, the food took forever to arrive. So I havent been to this Chili's in years, but I received a gift card over the holidays, and decided to give them a try today. Its mid afternoon in a busy shopping area and when we walk in there isnt a soul at the front of house. Finally a person appears and takes us to a table and walks away, as we get seated we realize there is bits of food on the table, and on the seat, ick, so we ask to be seated at a new table. The hostess quickly apologized and took us to a differrnt table, which appeared clean to begin with but the table top felt sticky , and then we noticed that the table had streaks of black grime on it, which i originally thought were part of the stain on the table until i rubbed it with a napkin and it came off. DISGUSTING. We are now sitting across the street at texas roadhouse happily paying for a good meal in a clean establishment. read more

I am not fond of the area but my boyfriend lives out in that and with some friends, we were looking for a place to double date for the night. We decided to go into chili's! Very nice friendly wait staff and management. One thing I love is paying for a hot meal! The waitress was very friendly always made sure drinks were filled up. Normally I am use to finishing the appetizer and waiting a century for the food to come. It came really quickly. The food was so hot it nearly burned me. However I love my food to be very hot! This used to be one of our favorite places to go, seems like they have gone down hill over the past year. We visited last night for dinner and was so disappointed. There was a fruit fly in my glass, the onions and lettuce on my husbands burger was starting to rot and wilt. We tried the fried pickles and it was pure mush. I used to be a very big fan of chili's, but recently it seems like their portion sizes have gotten much smaller... Which is a big deal when you love to eat! In regards to this specific location, the wait staff is hit or miss. Last year, it seemed like for every 1 great experience we had, we'd also have 3 bad ones due to server incompetence or ignorance. But more recently, that's gotten much better && it's one of our favorite places to go for lunch. So hopefully this location continues in the right direction! read more
