After asking for the manager, he came out and simply said, "That's not done" and took the burger and returned with another. He did not try to make it right, he did not try to remedy the situation, and he didn't even apologize. I went into Chili's with a group of people. I ordered a bacon chicken quesadilla (which was very tasty) and the waitress asked if I wanted rice and beans with it. Thinking it came with the plate, I told her I would rather have fries. She also asked if I wanted guacamole and I had said I wanted it on the side (I didn't want it, but I was thinking it came with the original order and I could let my wife have it). Luckily, my wife said that I was going to be charged for the guacamole and I was able to cancel that while placing my order. What I didn't realize until the bill came was that I was charged for a side order of fries ($2.29) of which I didn't even eat any because I was full. So bottom line, if you are asked about anything after you say which item you want, you should ask if there is going to be an additional charge for the suggested item. I went to Chili's for lunch while visiting the Fredericksburg, VA area on 4/2/16. I really liked our waiter. I often struggle as a pescetarian at Chili's. He had some fantastic suggestions. I ended up with the enchilada dish which I had never had at a Chili's. It was very enjoyable. The reason I cannot give Chili's a higher rating even with the fantastic service it still is just a Chili's. The ambiance and overall the menu is meh. However, if you want a casual for a meal I think this this location represents their the brand well. In a nutshell, I wouldn't hesitate to go back to this location of Chili's. read more

The atmosphere was really nice. People seem to been enjoying themselves. The food was fast and fresh. Not sure why we had to wait fifteen minutes to sit at a table. There were six open tables when we got here. Then waited about ten minutes for a server. Drinks were provided and topped off by our guy, but food delivery was slow. Ten minutes for a half of cheese fries... Really! Entire meal took more than an hour and a half, much of our time spent waiting. Even waiting to pay the check. Four times we were blown off with "I'll get right on that for you" and then people fled out table like we had leprosy instead of waving our credit card with glee. On an up note, food was really good. We had a drunk man slurring his words and not even being able to hold his body up looking around like he wanted a bar fight! Never again will my family enter this restaurant! I visited this site many times, but was there on New Year's day. I met my niece and her family there and I ordered the Chicken Enchiladas which I have had in the past and it is one of my favorites, but yesterday the enchiladas were gross. The tortillas were hard like they kept them in the oven too long, the inside was very dry, no sauce. My nephews ordered the chocolate dessert and the bottom of it was really hard, they could not eat it. I will think twice about visiting this location in the future. This place is pretty hit or miss. It seems like there are new managers and staff and they are trying to "clean up" and start fresh. Ok, worst service I have received in years!!! Our party of 6 arrived this Saturday around 6:15pm. It was busy, Saturday night, expected a wait. As we did for about 15 to 20 minutes. FIRST issue, another group was complaining on the wait time, so the Hostess seated this party prior to us, even though we were ahead of them on the list. SECOND issue, when seated, no contact from the wait staff for probably 5 minutes, then after a wait, again, some young man asked if we had a server. We said no. So he indicated that he would wait on us....as he disappeared. A few moments later he returned to our table and told us the it would be 20 to 25 minutes of wait time for our food order due the kitchen being backed up! THIRD issue, Chips and Salsa, chips were soaked with grease, salsa was like water. FIFTH issue, we only ordered drinks and appetizers.....guess what we waited....for about an hour if not longer.....NO Food. We tried to get our waiters attention, we we're done waiting, ready to leave......food arrived. We refused it, paid our Drink Bill and left. We did talk to a woman manager, she appologized, but really. She wanted to "Comp." Everything but we insisted on paying for the Alcohol we purchased. My opinion, Manager should be approached about her poor staffing. The few wait staff that was there were trying their best to keep up....but just not enough employees up front and apparently the kitchen as well. I just hate these Big Name Food Chains that advertise great food and great service but fail to deliver. I wish I could rate this higher. My friend and I had less than $10 so we were only eating the chips and salsa, but my low blood sugar level was making me really dizzy so I ordered a dessert to share. When the bill came it was $12.33 and I started panicking. I explained to the waitress (I really wish I could remember her name!) that my friend had gone back out to the car to get more money, but I guess she noticed my distress because she paid for the chips herself. I feel horrible about not being able to pay for it, but I also feel so much appreciation for this lady. Today has been by far the worst experience I have ever had at this establishment. The table we were seated at was still dirty and sticky and surrounded by other tables that had obviously not been bussed in a while. It took 20 minutes from the time we sat down just to order our drinks (which we went ahead and ordered our food at the same time) then it took 15 minutes to get the drinks and then another 35-40 minutes to get our food. Once the food was served some of it was nearly warm, while some of the chicken tenders were not even cooked all the way. Additionally, the tenders tasted as if they were fried with fish, obvious cross contamination. It took us an additional 5 minutes to get our waitress back to return the food and 15 minutes has passed and we have yet to receive a replacement. I could understand the wait and sloppiness if the place was packed however there is barely anyone in here. The service and lack of cleanliness is a direct reflection of the poor management that is within this establishment. read more

We ordered a carry-out dinner for two and were very disappointed. The food was overly salty, greasy, with too much cheese; and felt pretty disgusted afterwards. While we do like Tex-Mex food in general, the food served in this place was by far the worst we've had. We were also surprised to discover later that the restaurant charged my credit card more than what was on my receipt. It appears that they included a generous tip without my consent.
