went today, Monday the 15th of December for lunch with my wife. food was average. walked in and the hostess was on her phone, another host was sitting on the bench with his feet propped up. we were sat in the bar area and the server was nice but honestly never there. dirty shirt, took orders, someone else delivered ( even our drinks ) she was also making drinks for the bar. only two tables and barely saw her. concerning part is she had a shirt saying she was a trainer. what a joke. when we where done she never told us we had to pay at the little table electric thing. after about 5 minutes we figured it out. if this is the Chili's standard of service I am confident that they won't be around much longer. read more

*BAD* From the start it took over 40 ish waiving multiple people down just to get our drinks taken, which came out wrong, and waited over an hour just to get our food taken. Saw a different server each time.The food wasn't even like THAT good to warrant such a wait. Contrary to some of the other reviews, the service was actually quite nice. The server was polite, and I received my food quickly. I got the 3 for Me. I ordered the cilantro lime carne asada. The steak was a little tough but still good and flavorful with the pesto. The house salad appetizer was good but really small. Overall, everything was pretty good. However, it would be nice if the menus listed the prices for their cocktails. I didn't order anything off their drink menu because I take price into consideration when making a selection and didn't want to sit there asking the serve for all the drink prices. read more

Hagerstown the worst chills i have ever been to the service was very unpleasant and rude.

i called 3 days prior to make a reservation, the manager on the phone took my reservation and confirmed it. i received 3 text message confirmations on the days leading up to it. when we arrived the hostess stated they do not take reservations and we would have to wait until a table was cleared. upon asking to speak to the manager and show him the text message confirmations, he didn't even bother to look at the messages and told us there's nothing he can do. After we were finally seated our waitress was amazing, and the food was decent even though we had to wait nearly an hour to get anything. We noticed the manager going around to every table asking about their meal while completely avoiding eye contact with us and waking straight past multiple times. The manager made no attempt to reconcile or help the situation instead he ignored us and chose not to admit the restaurants fault. I believe he was the one i spoke to on the phone but he was embarrassed to admit it. I've attached the proof of confirmation here as well. We ordered curbside pickup, and the server/bellhop/whatever gave our food to the car 2 spaces away, realized their f-up, took the food back and handed it to us. Gross. Will not return. If I could give negative stars, I totally would! Also of note, unlike in other states with more stringent social distancing measures, the bag and food containers were not sealed with any safety seals. First let me say we had the BEST server ever tonight- Jazmere. She was awesome! Very friendly and attentive. As for our dinner, it was the worst meal we have ever had at Chili's. My husband ordered a burger medium rare and it was well done and very dry. He said it was hard to even eat. Our food took over an hour to receive after we ordered it. The restaurant was not busy when we arrived. We were sat immediately and there were plenty of open seats. Even the waitress had to keep apologizing for the long wait. I ordered the chicken margarita which was very spicy. I have ordered it in the past and it was never that spicy. Very disappointed in tonight's meal. When we flagged her down, after spending a solid ten minutes trying to catch her, she asked if we had ordered the missing food items via the little computer at the table. (She had 1 other table) The people across from us arrived after we placed our order, yet they had their drinks and were halfway through their appetizers by the time we were able to flag down our waitress. I've frequented another Chili's in Carlisle, so this is my basis for comparison. Hagerstown restaurant left a lot to be desired. It took a while to be noticed by anyone to be seated. After being seated, I can't even tell you how long we waited to have someone take our drink orders. Finally ordered and got our food. The food was not as flavorful as I was expecting. I ordered the exact same food as the other location I'm used to but it was not the same tasting. The service was subpar from other locations I've been to. I will only go to this location again if I'm in a pinch and just really want Chili's. Management needs to step up here and massively improve. read more

My server at Chili's was extremely rude, and could not have pushed my party out of the diner faster. We were enjoying our conversation with one another when she quickly asked "are you done, do you need box?" My friend replied "yes" and she said "okay are you paying together." I replied I was separate. She then grabbed the IPad on the table and slammed it down pointing this one's yours. I've never experienced this at any other chilis, and I will not be coming back. I wrote a review on the iPad about our experience. She yanked our plates from us. While I was in the middle of writing the review, grabbed mine so quickly the fork that was placed on the plate flew off the plate and stained my NEW jeans. Which she saw and said absolutely nothing. Im disgusted with the way this business is ran. I've never felt so uncomfortable in my life. I mean for gods sake it was my friends 20th birthday she ruined. Waitress was great, and that's where it ended. Our food took quite awhile, and then when I received it the tray was dirty. It had hard dried barbeque sauce all over it, yet my meal did not have barbeque sauce as an ingredient. The waitress was horrified and immediately took it away. Came here last week and had the worst service, and it wasn't that busy. However, we met the manager and she did a phenomenal job of making sure we were taken care of. She rescued the whole lunch experience with her professionalism and customer service. I came again today to see how things have improved. The Manager personally greeted us and had the chips and salsa out fast. The server did a great job and the food was fresh. They have great prices here for the amount of food you get. Had to come to Hagerstown for an overnight trip. I'm a creature of habit and usually stick to places I know when I'm in an unfamiliar area. This Chili's is pretty standard. We got chips and salsa as an app. The chips were warm and the salsa tasted fresh. We both got burgers. The fries were nothing special. Chili's has garlic, dill pickles now and they were very tasty. Oh boy this is a bad place to eat. The shrimp is so badly kept frozen you can taste the frost bite, the chicken is kept in the same condition. The restaurant is newer yet it feels like they keep their food in old freezers and don't properly store anything. The service was ok and the appetizers were fine but the entrees were not good.
