I walked in at 1pm and was seated promptly but about 10 minutes later not a single server stopped by nor acknowledged I was there. 4 different servers passed by and stopped at the tables around me. We came here because were on this side of town (we live in Bear Creek off hwy. 6 & W. Little York) Our experience was great so I don't understand the bad reviews. My Dad eats here on a regular basis & has always had a great experience. Maybe because we came on a Sunday afternoon? I don't know. We were seated immediately in a requested booth. Our waiter, Marcus greeted us immediately & said he would be right back after getting an order out. 5 minutes later, Marcus had someone take our drink order & get our drinks later. Apparently, they were short on waiters & waitresses because we only saw 1 other waitress. 10 minutes later, Marcus came to take our order apologizing profusely. He was so nice & gave us suggestions because we couldn't decide what to order. 20 minutes later, our food comes out. We both had the mix & match ribs where you could choose ribs with 2 different sauces & 2 sides. The ribs were meaty, sauced & cooked just right. The meat was so tender it just fell off the bones. We had rice, black beans & panko onion rings. The rice was a little bland & needed a little more seasoning. Marcus said he would let his manager know. The black beans & onion rings were so good. For dessert, my husband had the peach crumble cake that had delicious peach chunks, butter cake crumbles, cinnamon & vanilla ice cream. I had the chocolate brownie with caramel, butter toffee pieces & vanilla ice cream. Both of us tried both desserts & they were so good. We wish the 2 Chili's by us were this good. I love chills soooo much! We go there almost every week and I always order the sirloin with mashed potatoes! The staff is super helpful and we always have a great time! The chocolate lava cake is super good and the chocolate is to die for! They also have tons of dishes to choose from! I was at Chili's a few nights ago and it was THE most horrible service. I did not see my waitress for 25 minutes after she had given me water. When I asked another waiter for assistance she came over to ask me why didn't I come get her. LOL!! -with her hand on her hip and her eyes rolling. I was done. I complained and she stared at me from afar for the rest of the night. The one thing we ended up ordering after that bad experience, took entirely too long to be served and it was cold. Food was fine, chili's level quality. HOWEVER, and this was huge, I ordered my food online at 11:30. Got there at 12:10, it then took another 30 minutes to pay and get my food. There was only one person working in the take-out area during lunch rush, when they obviously need 2. And that person was going to back, yelling out what was still needed on orders - I guess the food preparers can't read??? - and then bagging up orders and bringing out. Completely inefficient, poorly managed, all of which is not helped by the fact that you can't go ahead and pay for your food online. If they had that option, it would probably help them out a great deal. All in all, will not be back. read more

It's 6:25pm on a Sat evening and we were told we couldn't sit in the bar area it's a 20 min wait. There was 6 tables in the bar area available and we were still told it was a 20 min wait. Took my money else where. In the dining area there were plenty of seats. The guy told us that it was going to take 20 mins for him to seat another group and for then to get there order. Would not recommend this location at all. Came here for lunch during work looking for something not too long and that is what i expected with the restaurant half empty. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. Probably only saw my waitress about 4 times in the whole hour we were there and those were in about 15 minute intervals. On top of that the waitress wasn't very kind and seemed like she didn't want to be there. Not only that, food made me feel slightly queasy during work afterwords, and that is saying a lot considering I ate neon green food from James Conely and felt alright after. Came here for lunch on June 2nd with some of my business colleagues. There were 9 of us, and the hostess was accommodating in setting up the table. We usually meet at the 1960 and I 45 location and we are used to great service. In this case, our waitress was either having an off day or just frazzled. The food did not come out as ordered nor was it timed. However, the new chicken soft tacos on the lunch menu was spectacular. Made with fresh ingredients, chimichurri and avocado and was wonderful. I can't say much for the other diners as I had to leave prior to them receiving some of the food. Service was horrible as I had to wait quite a while to even get a check and I couldn't just leave cash since I was paying for everyone. Nevertheless, I heard that the manager was going to comp the entire table due to the service issues. The Chili's chain has progressively gotten worse and worse as a whole. This review is coming from when I ordered to-go a few days ago. At 6:20 pm, I called in my order for two margarita grilled chickens, and an order of chips and salsa. They told me my order would be ready in ten minutes. At 6:35, I arrive, and the bartender told me my order was not yet ready. Not only was the restaurant SO COLD that I was literally trembling and my teeth were chattering, I sat there at the bar waiting for my order until 6:50 and was never even offered water or a soda while I waited. The restaurant wasn't even remotely busy! Such a miserable experience. I wouldn't have minded the wait if they had told me that my food would be ready in 30 minutes instead of 10, but that didn't happen. The food was mediocre at best. Don't waste your time on this place. Chili's is a dying breed. read more

I had stopped cm'g because of the service and after @ 6mos I thought it would be a pleasant treat after work, who knows perhaps the management had changed, but as a matter of fact, it was even worse. After waiting an hour and a half JUST to be seated because they are short staffed (with over 20 tables open.) We were told there are 50 food tickets in front of us and it will be 1-2 hours until we get food! I am not mad that they are short staffed or even that they got behind in the kitchen. People are Human they make mistakes! BUT WHY NOT TELL ME THIS BEFORE I WAIT AND WASTE MY TIME!!!! BAD management! Do NOT put your employees through that! Do the RIGHT thing and tell people the truth that you are so behind it will take 1-3 hour to catch up and you need to turn people away. Ok, waited to be seated. Timely only waited 10 minutes, even though large party ahead of us. Once seated the fun begin. We waited 10 minutes and no one took our drink order. 5 more minutes passed and hostess stopped and asked had we been served the reply was no. She went to the back to get a waitress who returned to take the couples order behind us who came afire we arrived. We assumed she would come to us after she took their order, but she left to only return later to ask the couple if they were ready to order. My husband and I sat for a couple more minutes when he went to the front to get the hostess for assistance. I found the manager and asked him to help. Very nice guy. Don't remember his name but he took our drink order and offered us some chips and salsa. He got us s great waitress. We often go to chilis my son loves this place, our first time at this location and possibly last. Overall service started out negative but the turnaround might be positive.
