Loved the mashed potatoes and white gravy and mac and cheese. I did get the 20oz prim rib and was a little disappointed. It was cooked correctly but it legit tasked like grilled turkey. I have my hubby taste it and said the same thing. Steak should not taste like turkey. So that was a waste. Restaurant was packed for Wednesday but clean! It gets real crowded on weekend nights but we got seated fast. You're given the option to choose your cut of steak from the glass case before seated or you can opt to just get from the menu. You're offered a bag of salted peanuts and 4 bread rolls with whipped butter which is so delicious. I recommend just taking the one serving for a small group because they are addictive and you'll be full before main course. We were offered a second round when we sat because we were waiting to get our appetizers. (Bad idea lol we were full) Dinner service was good our server took great care of us and even took back one of our steak to get it a little more done because it was more rear than I'd like it medium well. Good for game night or just to have a weekend dinner, there were numerous bday celebrations throughout the night also. So great for that too. Drinks were ok. December 19 2025 Service was the worst, we placed the order for 3 different plates at 4:45 pm to pick it up at 5:24, but when we get to the restaurant the food wasn't ready so we had to wait for a hour out side at the car, when we ask the person in charge she told us to wait just a little longer, we wait for the food which we ordered on their website to suppose to be ready, the sauces was spill, the worst service I ever experienced!!! Weekends are hectic but as long as you order ahead of time there isn't much of a wait. During the week I tend to get my food super quick if I do my Togo. They have a display of the different types of steaks and their thickness they offer if your not sure which one to choose , they provide you with peanuts at the table, they cook your steak to your likeness and the rolls omgeee are nice and hot. Im personally not a fan of the sweet butter but they will give you the regular one upon request. Be mindful of the fully loaded potato upcharge. Fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. For my meal, I had the chicken fried chicken with fully loaded mashed potatoes and green beans. Everything was flavorful, perfectly cooked, and came out quickly. The friendly atmosphere made it all the more enjoyable. The highlight of the evening, however, was our waitress, Patricia. She was truly fantastic -- attentive without being intrusive, checking on us often to make sure everything was just right. The worst thing ever happened the people in front of us one of them threw up all over the aisleway towards us and nobody was cleaning it up. They kept stepping over it around it. It was so gross then our food came, but only mine and my sons. My wife's never came. We waited 20 minutes I wasn't gonna eat without her and our waitress disappeared. I found another waitress and asked her. Hey we still haven't got my wife's meal but we're gonna take them all to go waited another 15 minutes never came finally a manager came and said I'm sorry. Let me go ahead and put in her order now it's been 45 minutes since I got my meal plus we're not eating no more because we've all lost our appetite because of the incident with the girl throwing up all over the aisle way, she says I will just comp your wife's meal since it took an extra 45 minutes then they forget about it again and she waits in there for another 30 minutes while I take my son to the car cause he is not doing so well after seeing the lady throw up in the aisle way very bad service plus it took them forever to clean up the throw up in the aisle, which is super gross even a person with their baby stroller, wheeled it right over the throw up, not knowing it was throw up finally they cleaned it up by dumping some white powdery substance on top of it to hide it I guess it was to soak it up and they came and swept it. 10 minutes later would not recommend this place for nothing. It's a freaking madhouse. You would expect if you pay the kind of money that you're paying for a steak dinner then at least you would all get your meal at the same time or if something like that happens offer to move you to another table never eating at Texas roadhouse again. This was my third visit to Texas Roadhouse, and unfortunately, it was the most disappointing one so far. Although I came in with patience--understanding that the restaurant was busy--the service and food quality were frustrating this time around. We waited quite a while for our meals, and when they finally arrived, several items were missing. My daughter ordered broccoli with her chicken bites, and it never came. I ordered a steak with a shrimp side, loaded mashed potatoes, two garlic butters, and a Caesar salad. While the appetizer (loaded fries) came out quickly and was a generous portion for the table, the rest of the experience went downhill. The Caesar salad arrived after the appetizer, and then all of our main dishes came out at once. That's when I noticed my shrimp and garlic butter were missing. Worse, my steak--ordered medium--was completely pink throughout. At the time, I didn't eat the steak because I was already full from the sides and appetizer. However, I ate it later at home, and I deeply regret it. The steak was clearly undercooked--borderline raw--and now the following day, I'm dealing with an upset stomach and food poisoning symptoms. I honestly feel like I have "diarrhea in the lungs"--that's how bad it is. To top things off, my alcoholic drink (The Legend) took nearly 40 minutes to arrive. I've been to Texas Roadhouse about four times total, but it's always this specific location (1960 & I-45) that seems to get the order wrong or cook the steak improperly. For a steakhouse, this is especially disappointing. Cooking steak to temperature should be second nature. I'm writing this review in hopes that management takes the feedback seriously. I was enjoying a delicious meal, the grilled chicken salad, and noticed that the manager was going around and thanking the veterans for their service. I asked the manager what his name is and learned it is "RAY". It was Veteran's Day and I thought that was very appropriate and deserving for Ray to do what he was doing, considering how busy he was. She was very welcoming and asked if there was any questions about the menu. I had the filet which was cooked perfect medium rare. My wife had the smothered chicken which is always good.
