I remained standing at the counter waiting, assuming they might be occupied with something I couldn't see and trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. As I waited, I noticed the restaurant was extremely warm inside. There was a large fan mounted on the wall, but it did little to cool the space, and I eventually found myself sweating while standing there. What was most disappointing was the lack of communication. No one acknowledged the wait, offered an estimated time, or simply said, "I'll be with you in a moment." Although one employee looked my way several times, I never received any assistance. After waiting long enough to become uncomfortable from the heat and realizing no one was going to take my order, I decided to leave. Since I was never able to place an order, I can't speak on the quality of the food. However, based solely on the customer service experience, I would not return.

A few minutes later, in reiterating my experience to another party, I was told that 4 other persons walked away from the restaurant a few hours earlier because of her. So in total, that day (it was a Saturday), this restaurant lost the business of at least 7 people (that we know of) because of 1 bad employee. As a business owner, that smells like defeat. I hope the owner sees this and gets rid of her. I am not one quick to see people lose their jobs for any reason, actually I am quick to beg an employer to let the employee keep their job, but not this time around. She belongs behind a closed door where she has zero contact with the outside world. Despicable.
