I came here after I got off of work. I came in for the 3 for $10. I sat for about 5 minutes before being greeted. Mrs Phoenix( she was very sweet) she told Me my server would be right with me. I ordered the chips n salsa, sweet tea and chicken pasta. Since I was a reward member my chips and salsa was free so i got to pick another starter so I got the potato soup. I told my server I'd like to enjoy my appetizers first. Well all of my food came out at one time. The chips were stale. Not hot . The soup was ok!. The pasta was overcooked and very bland. Had no Cajun taste. The garlic bread tasted better then the pasta the sauce tasted like cheap Alfredo sauce from a jar. My tea glass had residue on it and drinking from the rim it tasted salty. Also my sweet tea tasted old like dirty dish water. It tasted like they don't clean their tea makers out. My server was ok but a little slow. He paid more attention to his other tables. Me and my son had some black African American with dreads as the server (forgot his name) he was not attentive AT ALL, i needed a refill for over 15 minutes, took forever for the food to come out, he didn't check on any of his tables honestly. There were 2 other booths in his section that I noticed looked pretty upset too. He forgot to bring me a togo box for some time as well. This busser guy was taking care of us more than the server did. I wanted to tip the busser or food runner (whoever he was) but he said i was only allowed to tip the server. It's ironic how servers expect a tip even with terrible service. Absolutely NOT. You don't get rewarded for not doing your job even slightly. We arrived around one in the afternoon, not too busy but busier than our last time here. I'm not hard of hearing or anything but the hostess started talking to us when we entered and I couldn't hear a word she was saying. Just very... Very soft spoken. Not a big deal. She said she didn't have any tables available so they would need to clean one.. What? You mean.. You do have tables but they're all just dirty?? Kinda funny. We waited about five or ten mins for them to clean a table and we got the booth. Saw a lot of new menu items since our last visit. After ten minutes at the table a server came to us and said no one has helped us so she was going to. It was a weird interaction because everything she said was in the form of a question... Very strange. Ordered the fried pickles and chicken tacos.. Fried pickles weren't that great at all, wouldn't order them again. Chicken tacos were good... Just good.. Terrible customer service! Plus order was wrong and nasty. I arrived a few minutes after closing to pickup an order (a lot of people were still inside eating). The doors were locked. When a staff member saw me standing outside she waved me off telling me they were closed. I tried telling her I placed an order already and didn't know where to pickup the order. She kept waving me off over and over, not even trying to understand what I was trying to tell her through the closed door. I asked if she could open the door so she could hear me, she shook her head no saying they are closed. Then I guess she got on her earpiece to confirm there was a to go order and tried telling me through the door to go to the to go pickup spot. I didn't know where it was. Someone else had to come point out where it was. After all that I open my order up at the hotel and its not right. They gave 1 sauce for my triple dipper (should be one sauce for each side-3), fries were inedible, no tortilla chips for the soup I ordered (which I specifically asked for over the phone) and I asked for a margarita with no ice, they gave me a frozen margarita. This place had bugs (ants) near my table and they refused to reseat me and my family. Majority of the stalls we disgusting that I had to go to another nearby restaurant to use the bathroom. After complaining to my waitress she rolled her eyes and left. I love chili's but me and my family will not be back to this location. Wow!!!! I'm we didn't initially wanted to come to this location. It I'm so happy we did. I got a free queso and chip appetizer by the way was terrible, I was looking forward to the traditional queso with rotel, etc but that wasn't the case. It was an odd weird color and in my opinion they really need to take that off the menu. On a better note, all month long they are offering a spider bite alcoholic drink which exceeded my expectation. It was the BEST drink I've ever had. Of course the food is always good, any option here is a winner. We got the burger and lunch turkey club w/ chilli and fries; outstanding. Happy hour prices are Horne O'Neal, we actually lucked up on happy hour and drinks range for about $5 and the margarita was on point. You can't come to Chili's and don't get a paradise pie, it's a must for me but it is much smaller than I remembered. Great staff and and clean restaurant. Food came out fast and hot. read more

For starters I order the chicken pasta and it literally came out 5 minutes after it was order like it was already made. It wasn't fresh. 2nd problem we had to flag down the waiter TWICE just for a refill on a drink. 3rd Problem we are ready to check out and the waiter is no where to be found. She didn't check on us not one time while we where there. Then over charged us and added extra on our tab. We had to ask for the manager after waiting over 15 minutes for a to go box and to go drinks. And I pointed out the waiter who had to sympathy for leaving us unattended the whole course of our meal. Loaded Potatoes with Bacon: good. {in general other items that we like at Chilis:\ Their new top shelf tacos are good: Ranchero Chicken is spicy and really good; Spicy Shrimp tacos: Had both spicy and sweet taste: which made it decent/good. I ate here for lunch today after my wife became a US citizen up the street!! That was awesome, but finding this place was not. I couldn't find it on Yelp. At all. There were some near with terrible reviews, but this location was empty, so I had to add it. We were welcomed by a friendly staff, and seated promptly, our waitress was kind, but was not super attentive. We were missing sauces, drinks ran on empty for a long while and she was MIA, but again, very kind. The food was okay. I ordered the bacon ranch quesadillas, and only at 1/4 before I just didn't have an appetite anymore. They just weren't that good. My daughter got the same thing, and she would just lean onto her plate and spit it out. She's 16. Just kidding, she's only a year and a half :). But it was weird, because she normally devours things like this. After our average meal, our waitress told us about a survey that we could take, and then told us how to answer the survey, telling us to mark specifically the one that said we would recommend this Chili's to others. Idk, maybe it's me, but that was weird. Nothing wrong with throwing it out there, but this was more of a command and didn't feel moral. Chillis is one of my favorite restaurants to dine in at. However, tonight I wasn't impressed with the service or the food. I ended up asking to speak with a manager. Clara, the manager on duty, quickly responded and acknowledged my concerns. Managing people is very challenging, and managing a restaurant can be very demanding. Overall I am giving this restaurant a 5 stars. Not because of my server or the food. Claras professionalism and willingness to let me vent, exceeded my expectations!!! Where do I begin. When you let 30+paying customers walk out because you say a section of you mostly empty restaurant is closed, you need to shut down or fire your management team. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!! PERIOD!! I don't care if the manager and hostess have to wait tables, you serve your customers. And your hostess needed something to do besides flipping her hair and organizing menus. We called ahead to let you know the number in our party, and you still were not ready for us? This restaurant makes me want to take back every one star rating I've ever given. I clearly do not meet the standard demographic of this place, and I felt more endangered than when I took a bus to Tijuana and walked across the border. This place is in the GHETTO (am I allowed to say that? ). 1. I hate chain restaurants (minus two stars already). I was there for a work situation. Still, no excuses, I went there. I am ashamed. 2. To paint a picture of the patrons: barefoot children running into the kitchen, servers with facial piercings and an unfamiliar form of spoken English, no host, several large, tatted, cut-off sleeved, bald men at the bar, and my favorite the morbidly obese. 3. The food was gross. I got a salad of iceberg lettuce completely soaked in dressing. However, it's Chilis, what can I expect. 4. The woman at the table sitting next to us was something I couldn't have imagined if I had eaten mushrooms before we arrived. She had curved fingernails that were about 8 inches long!! They were like the claws of a two-toed sloth, but worse. They had been airbrushed orange and she was holding her personal items with a self-taught death grip to accommodate these monsters. As we eavesdropped her conversation with the crowd of waitresses around here, we gathered that she grows out her fingernails (and toenails - so gross I won't even go there) and sells them on the internet!!!!! How is there a market for that???Sick. 5. Time to go. Finally. We leave, only to find that my boss' rental car had been broken into via the window and her laptop stolen in a lit area in front of the restaurant. 6. The police came, and they wouldn't even get out of their vehicle. Enough said about our safety at this point. Overall, I would say do not go to this restaurant unless you are into masochism, fetishes, gang banging, upset stomach, or an overall desire to put yourself in danger. With that said our waiter and the manager were pleasant. In the history of Chili's restaurants, this has to be one of the worst. I normally like Chili's for it's quick food and cheap prices, but this Chili's has the worst service ever. If you plan on going here for lunch, make sure you have well over an hour. This location can NEVER get you out of there in under. When I go I typically order soup and salad, along with my colleagues. Easy, right? You'd think so, but it is not the case here. Typically this location takes AT LEAST 30 minutes just to bring soups and salads. Ridiculous, especially when people are pressed for time during lunch hours. Following getting your food, it takes forever to get a bill processed. Last time we went our waitress quickly threw our checks on the table and fled. We all had our cards out, ready to go, but we had to wait another ten minutes for her to return. As for safety, I've read about in other reviews, I don't think it is really a concern. I work for the district close by and have never had problems. I think it may have been an isolated incident. There are certainly an assortment of people there, but wake up, this is America and you're eating at Chili's, not Vic & Anthony's. My main issue is with the service and lack of managerial presence to correct these problems. With a few simple adjustments, this could be a better location. Let's get started with the initial greeting, the hostess was nice and everything, most likely the highlight of my night :D They took about 10 minutes to take our drinks, we ordered 2 appetizers upon request of our drinks. White queso with spinach and table side guacamole and boy that guacamole must be so good I'm still waiting for it, 2 days later :D After 20 minutes of cups dryer than the Sahara I had to ask for refills on our lemonade and my unsweetened tea and let me tell you this, she gave me tea so sweet I got diabetes before drinking it. Fellow Luncher has always been a fan of Chili's and I just kind of tag along with him but this past Friday lunch experience has made me a fan myself. We came in for a special promotion they have going on. If you haven't seen the commercials on TV, you get 1 appetizer, 2 entrees, and 1 dessert for 20 dollars! We had the half order of Texas Cheese Fries for the appetizer and the Molten Chocolate Cake for dessert. He had the Country Fried Steak and I had the Mushroom Swiss Burger. Everything tasted delicious-o-yummy-in-ma-tummy! I was really worried that with the crowd the food would be sloppily prepared but everything came out perfect, and in a timely manner. I think they really stepped up their staff number. Because I've been here a few times and the wait is usually long, even during the after lunch rush when there's hardly anybody there. Yet this time we got seated right away and when our waiter came we gave him our complete order. We were given our drinks promptly and our courses came at perfect intervals. He even bought refills out for us without us having to ask, that was a very nice touch. All in all, this deal is too good to pass up. Our portions were so big we each had a to go box. i come to this location ALOT, i've realized if you are on a time frame do not come here during your lunch. So yesterday i went to order a salad my salad was not ready until 50 minutes after it being ordered, i was late going back to work etc, lunch was over and still was not able to eat, the front waitress left and somebody came to assist her i told the new bartender i was on a heavy time frame and told him i needed to pay my tab now. he says ok and walks back into the kitchen, i then walked towards the kitchen and had to repeat myself that i needed to pay now so i could immediately get back to work on time, i was completely ignored i told them they could keep the salad after the long wait and inconvenience i had to go back to work still hungry and completely unsatisfied i will never come back to that current location again. read more

Not many vegetarian options when you eat out with your family. I found the waitress intimidated because I asked if this had meat in it or any animal products. She was rude agitated and a hot mess. Very ignorant of her to get rude because I don't eat meat. All I can suggest is chip and dip. Black beans/rice. Maybe their spinach dip depending if you are a vegan. Stay away from the salads they are not vegetarian friendly. Most of the stuff on the menu is partially hydrogenated that goes for non vegetarians as well that watch their healthy. Salt is common and not friendly if you are sodium sensitive. read more

Came here to this chilies and we sat down no body came to take our order of drinks or anything.. some waitresses were around the area but none would come to our table only taking care of theirs. waiting for over 20 minutes my wife finally decided to go talk to the hostes and tell her if anyone was going to come out and take our orders and she didn't say anything she just got on the walkie talkie call some one but still five minutes when by an no one still came out to take our order we're a party of 8 people we just decided to get up and leave this restaurant and whent somewhere else. I wouldn't ever go here, except it is close to my work. 55 minutes...At lunch, to get my food, and when I get it, it's worng. The servers say "That's the cheese your ordered" on my burger ( Monterrey Jack ) 'That's what comes with it" Well, since they never bothered to take our menus I corrected him. Drinks...20 minutes each, and getting your server to BRING them to you is the worst part. Ask, Ask, Ask, Ask....It wasn't event that busy....There were like 5 tables. So the manager says she will discount half of our bills, since we can't EAT there...It's lunch and we are already very late. get the bill, she knocked off about 30%. This is a shame, because I like Chilis, and they are everywhere. But this one is probably the worst one I have ever been to, and this was my 3rd BAD visit before I put it on Yelp. Avoid this place at all costs. And I see the SAME issues at the place since 2012 on here. No improvement, they just don't care. That alone should of been the sign to get out but I was with another couple and didn't want to be rude. The strawberry lemonade I ordered was so watered down I couldn't taste the lemonade. I got mango ice tea and it was better. We ordered Texas cheese fries which were descent I mean u really can't mess up cheese fries. I ordered the steak with Mac and cheese and loaded mashed potatoes and I was so disappointed. It was less than mediocre.
