The food was great I ordered Togo through the yelp app. My only issue was the server, when my order was brought out to me she had the audacity to bend over into my car window and ask me if I paid for my order. I contacted her manager to see if it was customary for them to ask such a question for a Togo order. I was extremely offended. Appetizers came out undercooked, entrees were OVERcooked to the point of inedibility, and our server was inattentive, walking by us several times with empty drinks and clearly trying to get his attention. He then offered no compensation for having to get a remake and waiting TWENTY FIVE minutes for that to come out. Chili's and I haven't seen eye to eye in quite sometime and I was hesitant about coming, but my gift cards persuaded me to overlook my previous issues and realize that this meal was literally on the house. We came during happy hour and were immediately greeted that was a good start. Our food and drinks came out quick and our server was diligent and equally yoked when it came to her job description. We started with the salsa and chips but couldn't finish them because they were drenched in salt, my salad that I got instead of fries was fresh but the ranch was definitely watered down. I had the grilled chicken sandwich with bacon and avocado (they left the avocado off) and my friend had the wings (I forgot the flavor) but her wings were the Star!! My sandwich ended up taking a 4 day vacay to the 2nd shelf of my refrigerator then it landed in the trash, but her wings were finished before I got home. I don't know if this was a good day or if this is normally how the wings taste but the flavor was to the bone, the sauce was great and easily this was one of the top 3 wings I've had in Jax! 5-Stars for that alone! Really nice spot. Close to where my new job is going to open. I ate there twice this week. The first time I sat in the restaurant and ordered the shrimp tacos lunch special with the loaded baked potato soup, minus cheese. I also got Jim beam with my meal and strawberry lemonade to drink with the meal. The shrimp tacos came with chips and salsa too. My server was really cool. The second time was yesterday. I sat at the bar. I ordered the lunch special double burger. Also got the same Jim Beam drink, but apparently it's a 2 for deal. Wish I knew that earlier in the week. The bartender let me know that he and his bar back were new and to be patient. Which I normally am. A bit of camaraderie was had. I did have to send my burger back once though since there was cheese on it, so I had to wait a bit longer, but it was worth it. I would definitely come back here. I had my order delivered. One meal was missing and another meal, The Triple Dipper, was missing the sliders so I guess it was a double dipper? I called to let them know that I was missing a meal and they said "oh yeah we know, we couldn't find it." So I ask them if I go through the delivery service for credit or if they can credit my card? I'm put on hold for a manager. I wait on hold for about 10 minutes and then decide to just go get the meal since they are literally down the street from me. I stay on the line just in case they come back and credit me before I get there. They don't. I make it there, hang up, call back and they answer. I let them know it's the call from earlier and I'm outside. Great, they bring my missing meal. I get that staff is short, and as someone who also works in a field that has experienced first hand the stress of current times, I hate giving bad reviews. But the food was bad, sloppy, missing sides, burger toppings, and a whole meal. There has to be some sort of quality control in place. I worked at Chili's in college and we checked all the meals for takeout before packaging. We made sure all sides were there, that the presentation was good. We sent it back if it wasn't. The first time we came here, we sat in the bar area and service was awful, our food order was completely screwed up, and I would have only given it one star. They have a 2 for $20 thing which is what we usually order. You get to choose an appetizer to share and you each get to choose a dinner entree (unless you get pasta, most come with sides). We always get the texas cheese fries which are covered with bacon and come in a skillet. Two thumbs up on those. I always order the same dinner entree which is the 8oz sirloin. I have it cooked medium and it's pretty cook. It has a nice flavour. It's a little chewy, but then again, it's a sirloin, so I'm not expecting it to melt in my mouth like filet mignon. For sides I get the mashed potatoes and corn on the cob; both are good and what you would expect mashed potatoes and corn on the cob to taste like. Their alcoholic drinks are 2 for 1 all the time. It's like a continuous happy hour. That's always a good thing. On the downside of that, they aren't very strong drinks, so 2 actually do equal 1. For dessert, the chocolate chip cookie which comes piping hot in a little skillet and covered with vanilla ice cream is very good. It's also very, very sweet. It's so sweet that I can only eat a few bites of it, so I'd recommend sharing if you order one. We are night owls, so we generally come here after 9:30pm. This means they are slower and could be a reason we get good service. I also like the fact they have a free rewards program. You can download the app to your phone and sign up for the program using one of the little Ziosk things that will be on your table. For every dollar you spend here (not including alcohol, tax, or tips), you get a point. Those points add up to free appetizers, desserts, and even full entrees. read more

My wife & I decided to give this place another try. Hadn't been here in over 10 years because of the service and wait time to get your food. My wife specifically asked that there be no onions with her fajita plate. Overemphasized it multiple times. Waitress wrote it all down. Guess what? Got onions anyway. Waitress never asked us the whole time whether we wanted a refill on our empty drinks. So we never got one. Ordered a cup of chili to start. Got my chili as we were 5 minutes from leaving. We then waited ... and waited ... and waited. No one working behind the bar the entire time we were seated ... 2 servers breezed past us preoccupied w/ their customers. Several other guests seated in the main dining area being served & what-not .... yet, we continued to wait......... After 9 minutes - no acknowledgement, we got up & casually walked out! As we headed toward the front door, the hostess saw us leaving - as she sipped on her drink. I mentioned it was sad that we waited almost 10 mins w/ no server acknowledgement... she continued to sip her drink - not a word - just a blank stare. Hmmmm ... we are customers, right?! Out the door we went ... down 2 establishments to Logan's Roadhouse. We were greeted upon entry & seated w/in 90 secs! Peanuts & bread (free) & a beer on the table - all in under 5 mins! Last week the service at this Chili's was awful. You could hear the kitchen staff arguing. The bartender wasn't as attentions as she needed to be. Salad was less than mediocre. They had a flood in the restroom that fled into the hallway and no one tended to it which left a mess ( I put out the wet floor signs). When I told a staff member she stated that mgmt knew. Minutes later my friend went to restaurant and they Saif no one even went to clean it up. So instead of cleaning it up they choose to close the restaurant early. How lazy is that? I was looking forward to a lovely meal with my family, but was sadly disappointed! When my food, a hot plate of Cajun Chicken Pasta, arrived, it looked delicious. There was a lot of chicken and it smelled delicious! Upon further inspection, I noticed that the food had tomatoes as well as a piece of hair! The tomatoes were completely my fault as I didn't know the pasta came with it, but the hair on the other hand... not so much. It was returned to the kitchen where they remade it, and when it was brought out to my table, I was not impressed. There was a significantly less amount of chicken, and after tasting it, I realized that it was nothing to rave about. They did, however, give us my meal for free, which made up for the mistakes made! Where should I start. This is my neighborhood restaurant and my family and I have been here too many times to count. However, its been a hit or miss with the food and service. First, why is the first place to sit customers are in the back near the kitchen or restroom. I think it's unprofessional to sit someone without asking them where they would like to sit, ie. table, booth, dinning area or bar. At the very least, especially when the restaurant is almost empty. Second, it is unacceptable for the server to come to your table without knowing the basic items on the menu. Saying "um" and "uh" every other word when the customer asks a simple question is not professional. Third, my food wasn't cooked thoroughly. The chicken was raw and manager of the day comes out and ask: "You had a question about your chicken?" Sir, it's not a question, its a concern, because as soon as I get food poisoning, you'll be upset when you get the hospital bill. Also, I had to get my fries seperate because of the server's forgetfulness. Even though they came out hot, my daughter's food did not. The plate was hot but the pasta was barely warm and cold on the edges. However, he walks away and does nothing. Well, thank you for my last visit. Well Chili's, after many visits, this is my first review and sadly, it could've been better. This was my wife and I first meal we'd had for the day and was hoping for something that'll satisfy our taste buds. I was pleased to see the options on the current special 3 for $10. Glancing over the options, my wife and I both chose to get the Southwest chicken soup, which was delicious, she got the blackberry tea and I the blackberry lemonade (all-time favorite). For the entree, she got the Cajun chicken pasta and I the margarita grilled chicken. After having our soup, we both stated how delicious it was and assumed the entree would really top us off. As the plates were sat before us, I took a bite and noticed my food was warm, borderline nearing the cold zone. I continued to eat because I didn't want to make a fuss. I will say this, it was good, just not hot. I asked my wife if she enjoyed her meal and she said, "Yes. I wish it was hot though." Needless to say, she and I both weren't fully satisfied with our meals. Some positives about our night, our waitress was very, very sweet and accommodating to us. She continued to check on us prior to our meals coming out and asking if there was anything else we'd want or need. When we did get it, it had been sitting under a dang heat lamp and was gross tasting. Everything but my husbands order had to be sent back. The manager did try and make everything right. But, by then it was too late! Hell, the table in front of us even walked out after a few seconds on dealing with our waitress!
