food was good - not like mind blowing or anything, but it came out hot and how it's supposed to be. prices are pretty decent too, honestly it feels like it costs more to hit chick fil a drive thru now than to just sit down here and get a burger at a restaraunt, which is kinda crazy. big thing for us was the service. our waiter, andrew, was just on it. he actually paid attention instead of just doing the bare minimum. brought me a fresh lemon with my to go water without me even asking, packed up my senior mom's food for her when he saw she was having a hard time, and grabbed a little cup of fruit for my toddler (she's special needs) to help calm her down. that kind of stuff really sticks with you. you don't really expect that level of service at chilis, usually it's just "here's your food, bye." place itself is pretty normal for a chain, nothing fancy - music a little loud but not terrible, tables were clean, we didn't have to wait long to get sat even though it looked kinda busy. we found out he is not there anymore, which kinda sucks. there's like 4 chilis around jax (orange park too) so if the service isn't like that, we'll probably just end up going wherever's closest. we'll probably give it another shot at some point, just hoping we get someone even half as good as he was. read more

Haven't had any problems with our food even only get picky or make weird request and the service is exponentially wonderful from their management to their we had Amber waiting on us and she was great at checking on us and making sure that we were in the loop about what was going on and got a little busy because of graduation week and we kinda all discussed how that affects the local restaurants which was kind of cool to just have that introspection. After my girlfriend passed her Boards exam, which is a HUGE test CRNA students need to pass to begin their career, she came to this Chili's with family and friends to celebrate. How could you not love her for that lmao what a legend. I, unfortunately, could not be there which is probably the biggest regret of my life to date. My FOMO is immeasurable. I called this Chili's to pay for their meal, and they asked what the group looked like. I began to describe them in great detail from hair to clothing to height to eye color. Right as I finished my in depth description, the lady informed me they can't take payments over the phone as it is against their company policy. She let me look like a fool describing them for 45 seconds, but I ended up just venmoing her sister to pay so it all worked out. My little baby had the best time in here, smashing countless spicy skinny margs, triple dipper combos, chicken crispers, and sliders. You gotta love Chili's. So proud of her. We stopped in for a drink to avoid traffic and what a great idea! We sat at the bar and our bartender Magic was wonderful! So attentive, talkative and kind! We ordered drinks and the seasonal Witches brew margarita. Wow, that was tasty! It was around 430, so the bar wasn't too packed, but was starting to get busy as we were leaving around 530. I've been to this location many times and over the course of my many visits, I am rarely (if ever disappointed). The staff is nothing but friendly and attentive, the food is always warm and genuinely good, and the ambience is just right for an afternoon lunch. If you do ever visit this location, you can't go wrong with your server as far as I know, but I have to recommend Julian. I finally go to meet up with my friend Sri! He chose this location for us to meet up, since he was passing through town. It's always nice to meet friends face to face. I ordered a margarita and a chicken salad for myself and a steak quesadilla to take home. I wanted sit at the bar. The bar was pretty busy for one girl to handle, but she was doing it. Do not come to this location. It has always sucked and they do not do anything about it. Even after 4 years this is the worst chilis I've ever been to. The food is undercooked and cold, they skimp you on literally everything. I placed a to go order and got home and saw my burger raw and still cold, I immediately called up there 3 times and no answer. It was 9pm. My cup of salad literally had 2 bites of salad and I got 8 fries. My chips weren't fried all the way and had no salt. The whole meal was trash. I even emailed them and no response. I would have rated them a 1 Star if it wasn't for the server I haven't been to this location in a while. It is one of their remodeled in the new decor restaurants, so it has a vibrant up to date aura, and they were very busy. We sat at a high-top in the bar. Our server was excellent, very skilled, friendly and attentive. It took about 45 minutes after our arrival for our entrees to arrive. The server kept our drinks full and offered to bring us a refill of chips and salsa to pass the time. I ordered the Margarita grilled chicken and when the food finally arrived, the chicken was COLD, not lukewarm, COLD, like they took it out of the fridge and put it in the microwave, but not long enough. The kitchen had piled it high with tortilla strips, possibly in an effort to mask the unappealing chicken. The manager came over to ask how everything was, and since we didn't have much time, I refused his offer to bring out a replacement and told him I would bring it home. We decided to get some bogo margaritas while we tried to figure out what we wanted to eat. Noah gave us plenty of time to make up our mind and helped us make some choices. Finally we chose to do the $25 for 2 deal so we could get an appetizer entree and dessert. Appetizer: chips and guacamole - it was a good choice My entree: Cajun chicken pasta - not good, the chicken was chewy, the pasta was cold and for something to be described as Cajun I feel like it should have some kind of taste. His entree: honey chipotle chicken crispers - not great, in one of his chicken crispers my fiancé found a macaroni noodle..... neither of us ordered macaroni. The chicken was also dry and the fries were cold and a little rubbery. Desert: cookie skillet - it's a warm cookie with ice cream you can't mess that up! Drinks: margaritas - I ordered the $5 marg which was pretty good but there was no way I could have had more than one it was too sweet, we also ordered the bogo margs which were not really that good call me a lush but I like my margaritas to taste like they have some alcohol in them not just margarita mix. Haven't been to a Chili's in a while. I was greeted by a waitress. I placed an order for beer (two for one draft deal). She asked if I wanted both at same time. I replied "no." A bar staff member brought me chips. No plates, napkins, or cuttlery. I requested all of them from the waitress when she took my drink order. Waitress returned with both beers- no plates. It amazes me how often I am NOT provided with napkins, plates, etc. A short while later, when ordering, I was advised of a special that included three items...salad, soup, etc. I was informed I could count the chips, previously brought, as one of them- does Chilis no longer provide chips gratis? I ordered a Quesadilla Explosion Salad which I've ordered many times in the past at a different Chili's and I had to point out that my salad that was supposed to have chicken had NO chicken. My chicken came out after quite a long wait and it was on a separate plate. Kind of odd that there was no apology for bringing me half of my food and then not serving it as it's supposed to be served. I'd like to say good service made up for it but....I had to clear our table of the dirty plates and was still waiting for the drink refill I asked for and never got! I of course had to start with some buy one get one margaritas cause you know "When at Chili's". My soup soon came out and I will say I have always been a fan of the Chicken Enchilada Soup. Honestly probably one of the 3 best I have ever had. Next to the entree. The Honey Chipotle Chicken Crispers, they have never let me down and always a great serving size, plus their ranch is the best. I got 2 sides, fries and upped my other to Mexican Street Corn (which was the only thing that wasn't good, a little over cooked). I will be back to this Chili's as service and food were good. We went to Chili's, arrived around 7:30. The restaurant was not crowded. The hostess was no where to be found. We were told to wait, and someone would be with us shortly. Five minutes later the hostess showed up. We knew we should have left, but unfortunately stayed. The waitress took our order. (apps and drinks) The chips and salsa arrived quickly, the chips were shiny. They were stale/rubbery, not good. We ordered dinner and the order was brought out quickly. However, at this point our drinks had still not shown up, and I saw our waitress bringing drinks to the other tables she was servicing. The food was cold, and not great. The waitress came to check on us halfway through the meal, and we had to tell her that the drinks were never brought to the table. When I think of this Chili's I just seem to get aggravated. I have been here a few times, mainly to either have lunch or pickup lunch when I have ordered online. The parking lot is a great size so there is always somewhere to park. The restaurant also seems clean each time I have been in over the years. The food is fine, I know what I am getting when I go here. I am not expecting phenomenal food, it is quick service dining food. When I have eaten in, the service has always been fine. I can get in and out on my lunch hour fine. My issues come with orders I place online. Sometimes you pick up in the car side to go area but other time you have to go to the bar. When I have to go to the bar to get my order, it can take quite a while. I never seem to be able to get the bartenders attention. One time I went to pick up an order, we had ordered a pasta dish and a sandwich online. When I got to the bar, I was told that they didn't have the sauce to make the pasta and asked what I wanted instead. It was for my coworker so I had to call and find out what she wanted then tell them, then they had to make it. I was pretty upset that they didn't call me when they found out they didn't have the sauce and instead made me wait and be late back from lunch. They also kept my chicken sandwich and fries already done on the bar counter so they were cold and disgusting. They didn't even offer to remake it. It took about 15 minutes to get the substitute dish made, I was so angry. Since then the to-go orders have been spotty, sometimes they are fine and about 50% of the time something is messed up. Last time I ordered my chicken sandwich, they through everything in the box and when I got to my office, it looked more like a salad. Proof again that not all Chili's are created equal! Since Chili's is one of my favorite "go to" restaurants I consider myself a self-proclaimed Chili's Connoisseur since I have eaten at Chili's all over the world. I have eaten my way around the menu and whenever they have a new item someone in my family orders it so we can all try it. However, there are always those "Chili's staples" that keep you coming back...like Chips & Salsa, Bacon/Ranch Quesadillas, Triple Play, etc. Not to mention the 2 for 1 house margaritas (even though they are in smaller mugs). That said, and in short...this is my new favorite Chili's! Awesome experience! Huge kudos to our waiter Jason! We decided to stop although the place was packed. To our surprise, we got a table right away. The staff was very kind upon arrival and listened to my son. This is huge for us because my son likes to tell them how many, table type, etc. The staff didn't try to "look over" him to talk to me/us. We appreciate this very much and thank you for respecting our son as a customer too. Despite the crowd...our waiter Jason greeted us immediately at the table to get our drink order. Drum roll...our drinks came out in a timely manner and we did expect a wait since the place was crowded. Our food did take a little longer than usual, but it was to be expected. It was ok because Jason kept us supplied with our bottomless chips & salsa. On that note...OH MY GOSH! BEST Chips ever! Seriously! I think they fry them fresh to order or something and don't mass fry them in advance. They are warm and fresh tasting upon arrival...YUMMY! One time Jason did tell us it would be a few minutes on a refill since they were in the fryer. I don't mind the wait, it's well worth it. I'm telling you...it is worth it to go there just for the chips! Service was awesome! Highly recommend to ask for one of Jason's tables. The food & drinks were great. And of course...the chips are amaze balls! It's been a long time since I've seen a Chili's packed like this one and it's easy to see why. I told the server didn't even offer to make another(Wish I had taken a picture of it) then got the 2 for $25 got the half Texas cheese fries and they were over done ,for entree got the chicken fajita and it had no flavor like they weren't even trying. My wife got the Chicken ranch quesadillas and they were not bad.For dessert paid two extra dollars to get the molten cake and it was a disaster came out cold ,it's like they hurried and made the food and mind you it wasn't even busy. They usually have really good deals here, especially if you split the 2 for $20 with someone else or the 3 for $10 by yourself. For the amount of food you receive, you cannot beat those deals! The service can be hit or miss, with some servers doing really well and making your visit as best as possible. But some servers end up not doing a good job, and they serve you extra food or forget to bring you food or drinks or something you ask for. It all depends on the largeness of the group you are in and how busy the restaurant is. Usually their peak times, especially on the weekends, it can be crowded and too busy, but later in the evenings or weekdays it is not as crowded. If you want a quicker meal, maybe sit in the bar area, where the service tends to be quicker. For food, I highly recommend the margarita chicken with the black beans and rice. When pointed out to the waitress she quickly ordered me fresh hot ones, but it was 5 or so minutes. I'd eaten half of my poorly constructed black bean burger by then. It was slopped on the dry, almost stale bun. I gave up eating it, and ate some of the hot fries when they finally arrived. My husband ordered chicken nachos, and they were sad looking individual tortilla chips topped with chicken and cheese...my husband said they were not like they used to be. Overall the waitress was great, and the hostess who seated us was nice, but the food quality was very poor.
