The only slight hiccup was that since it was sourdough bread I had very conflicting sizes of bread depending on what side I picked it up from. Love coming here. I have come by myself, with my son, family brunch, it has something for everyone! Very family friendly. It can get very busy. Pro Tip: go on the website and get on the waiting list on busy days ON YOUR WAY THERE. You get in front of everyone walking through the door. Just checking when you get there. Wait will then be 5-10 min. There is also a community table when you first come in. Anyone can sit there if seats available. Like a bar. Everything on the menu is amazing. My husband and I are big fans of First Watch. I think we have been to all of their Jacksonville locations. My go-to meals here are BLTE, Market Veggie, Power Breakfast Quinoa and Pesto Chicken Quinoa Bowls. Their seasonal menu of Shrimp and Grits is also another favorite, I wish they would just permanently add them in their regular menu. I would also prefer larger portions in their power bowls as I am still hungry after lol. Although there maybe times that we had to wait, once seated, service is quick. We went for brunch at First Watch today and had a great experience from start to finish. Even though they were busy, we only waited a couple of minutes to be seated. We love First Watch. It is always our go to for breakfast. Saturday morning we expected to be busy. But we got seated pretty quickly. It was a celebration for my 75th birthday. The fall pancakes were amazing and the chicken and apple sausage were delicious. I also need to congratulate Trinity for making this BD breakfast so special, she was very attentive and very professional. We will ask for her the next time we visit our favorite restaurant!! We love this plaza because it has SO much in here but this is a favorite breakfast spot! We got the million dollar bacon to start because if you're here - you have to get this!!! It's always seasoned to perfection with the perfect amount of spice. If you haven't tried it, please do! I got the egg sandwich with the runny egg & avocado which was really fresh and tasty. Went for breakfast after fasting for 24 hours. It was me and my daughter. Sat down quickly a waiter came by quickly and food came out quickly. Waiter Jared was very good attentive, friendly and got us what we wanted right away. I wasn't in a hurry but liked the fact it was busy and we were well attended. The place is always clean. The men's bathroom was out of order and it said to use the handicap bathroom. Only one stall in each bathroom Now the food the avocado toast was very good. My yogurt tasted like any yogurt granola bowl and was $11.49. My daughter had a Kale Tonic drink plus a trad w/meat and left more than half of the potatoes. She said it was too rich. Why the 4 stars, $63.54 for breakfast was too steep in my opinion. I also don't like to wait the line to pay after our meals. If you have bad timing you will wait a while. Finally got a chance to take my girlfriend here, while the dining area is super spacious and nicely decorated, I didn't get that the cozy ambiance when entered. Since we were social distancing, the waitress sat us pretty far apart from other customers, which is great and considerate. I ordered the eggs Benedict with veggies, while the eggs were cooked nicely, the salad that served with was not fresh and mostly inedible. So I had to throw that out, there was no sauce or dressing so my eggs were bland. I'm unsure if I'd come back, since my food was not great and it was some what pricey for breakfast. I was a bit disappointed by the food. I got the BLT Benedict. It was very lemon-y and then the bread it was on was half burnt. I did let the waitress know at the end and showed her and she apologized but that was it. My husband got the breakfast tacos which he said was okay. The eggs were a bit over cooked and then he noticed black spots on his avocado so he stopped eating at that point. With that all said, we probably won't be back here again. read more

First Watch, one of our favorite Brunch places to go eat at. And this is one of my favorite locations to go to because it's of course close to home, plus the staff here are outstanding. I've never had a bad experience yet. My personal favorite item is the Power Wrap, a regular menu item which I have ordered multitudes of time. It's a light and healthy wrap. Pair that up with some of their house made coffee and I am set to go for the day. Aside from the Power Wrap, I have, however been slowly venturing and trying other items. What makes First Watch special for me are their ever changing menu items, especially their Seasonal Menus. They change it up from time to time. One problem however, some of those Seasonal Menu items are really sooo good and delicious, that it takes forever to get reintroduced. The Shrimps and Grits at First Watch ARE THE BEST I've ever had. It's been awhile back ago since I've had it....and I'm still waiting for its comeback. Hint, hint...please First Watch, bring it back. I have been to other First Watch restaurants. This one is the best!! Everything from the service, the food, to the ambience. From the minute you walk in you're treated like family. Never have I had an issue here. When I've had questions or if I wanted to change something on the menu there has never been an issue made out of it. This most recent experience was amazing. I can't eat certain things. So I asked what the carbs, sodium and sugar grams were. The young woman just went and asked came back and gave me the answers. She never once expressed any aggravation or frustration. She did it all with a smile on her face and so courteous. That is true customer service. She made a few adjustments to my order and didn't even charge me extra. Amazing for today's times. The manager here is doing a fantastic job with his employees shout out to him.
