Had lunch at Chili's today with Grandma and the grandbaby, and overall it was a pleasant experience. The food was good, everyone enjoyed their meal, and we left full and satisfied. The only issue we encountered was with our server, Dani (or Nani, I'm not entirely sure of her name). She was friendly enough, but the amount of perfume she was wearing was overwhelming. Every time she came to our table, I found myself covering my nose and mouth because the scent was so strong. Unfortunately, it ended up triggering a migraine that lasted through the rest of our visit and well into the evening. I want to be clear that this wasn't about the service itself. The food was good, our order was correct, and lunch with Grandma and the grandbaby was enjoyable. I would just suggest dialing the fragrance back about 99.99%, especially in a restaurant setting where guests are trying to enjoy their food. I'm giving two stars because our waitress gave us a free (flat as hell) modelo. Okay, here it goes. I ordered the 5 "hand battered" Nashville hot flavor chicken strips. WTF was this crap? My strips were sitting in a virtual swimming pool of gross red oil/grease. The batter was so salty it was inedible and I like salty food. The cook must've stumbled with the celery seed in the batter causing this overwhelming bitter taste to blast through. My French fries were stiff and mixed with what appeared like yesterday's fries. The ranch dip was beyond salty too! Does this cook have some type of health disorder where they can't taste their own food? Then, I taste the small Mac n cheese side order and it's bland as hell?! I say again, WTF?! I was able to stomach one and a half chicken strips, and I pushed the whole order aside. My wife ordered the nachos, which was a gluttonous pile of soggy chips with about 2 pounds of shredded cheese to compensate for how bad they were. Seriously, if you can finish these disgusting loaded nachos you'd definitely be a match for a kidney transplant from a pig. Our waitress was apologetic for everything but that doesn't mean I'll ever be back. This was some of the worst food I've ever tasted and I'm losing faith in eating out. Chili's? Came here with my brother and my boyfriend as we wanted a quick lunch. They have plenty of parking on the front in the back and on the other side. Once we walked in, there was no wait time and got sat down right away. Our waitress came by and took her order pretty quick. My brother loves Chili's and he suggested to do the three for me menu. That was such a great suggestion! We mentioned to the waitress we were going to do the three for me menu and my brother wanted to get his chips and salsa first. From that menu, I decided to get a small side salad and the 6 ounce sirloin with asparagus and green beans. My brother got the QP burger and my boyfriend the chicken quesadillas. I was surprised with how big my sides were. This menu is such a good value. My boyfriend's quesadilla was a big sized and my brother's burger look good. The only reason I'm reducing one star is because our server wasn't as attentive and she didn't come back to check on us. She also charged the chips and salsa as an appetizer versus taking it from the three for me menu. We decided not to make a big deal about it, but we were an entirely happy. I had a great experience here at Chils. I stopped in on a Saturday night after having to leave the Red Robin across the street for lack of service. I was already in a bad mood from the horrible experience at Red Robin. We walked into Chilis and it was very busy so naturally I was already thinking here we go again. But no! We were seated as soon as we walked in and seated. Within just a couple minutes we had our drinks and appetizers. The server named Logan I believe was amazing. He took our order and within 5 minutes had our dinners. The food was okay. But the service made it even better. Chilis was on point and I will always be appreciative of their service. Came here on a Wednesday afternoon and we had no wait time to be seated which is always nice! Our server was Kaitlin and she was super sweet and attentive. I went to lunch with my cousin and the waiter took our order, well I guess he wasn't putting my cousins order correctly, she sent her lunch back 3 times. She had asked for her fries to be unsalted and her hamburger was no onions and she waned it plain. My husband and I adore Chili's! We've started to frequent this location and it's easily become our favorite! Our first server was Ray, and he was so kind in sharing that if we log in our account, we'd be able to redeem rewards for free chips, salsa, and queso. At the end of our visit, I asked for a box for the rest of the chips that were left over and he came back with a fresh batch to take home! Another server we had, Logan, was extremely attentive and would be quick on the refill of our drinks. He was kind and patient with any inquiries we had. I ordered the Bacon Cheese Burger (substituted Swiss cheese and held the mayo). It was the best burger I've had since they closed Fuddruckers in Buena Park! I will usually also get a margarita on the rocks. The servers are so attentive and take my orders fast, the food comes fast too, by 10 mins or before! We've been to this location many times and have had a good experience each time. The servers we've had have all been friendly. This weekend there was a particularly long wait, but Julissa, our hostess, figured out a way to get us seated quickly. Andrew, our server was also friendly, accurate, and provided all the accommodations we needed for our leftovers. The food was also great.
