This was the worse experience ever. The server was very friendly. But the whole ordering process was horrible. We received our room temperature sweet potato fries. An hour later we had to alert the server that it's been an hour and our meals still haven't arrived and our glasses were empty. Finally our food arrived the orders were incorrect. Then it took two attempts for my order to finally get corrected. Then after asking for the manager Wes twice he finally arrived not apologetic at ALL. But was full of excuses and had the nerve to go back and forth. But later says I'll take care of the appetizers. Then I noticed my son didn't eat all his chicken crispers and to our surprise they weren't all the way cook. But Wes was quick to say it was probably the dough or sit in grease. Smoking allowed in the establishment is a huge negative for me. I went here with my family on the way out of town and was very disappointed. Yeah. There is a reason their score is not that great. We ordered a take out order on Friday 12/5. The order was prepared extremely fast, but I waited at the counter for 5 full minutes while the 2 bar tenders looked at me a few times calling for no one. Then, from where the take out order counter was, I could see straight into the kitchen and a couple waitresses looked right at me and still no one greeted me or called for anyone. The food was alright for take out though. I'm sure dining in, it is much better in terms of quality as I am use to at other locations but I would beware of the service. If I could rate my service today it would be less than one star....the service and the server was horrible.... someone else took the drink order and the appetizers did not all come out at the same time.... I don't particularly like a very cold salad so I asked for a salad in a room temperature bowl.... not for y'all to microwave my salad.... yess.... hot salad with melted cheese and all... With a nearly empty restaurant there is no way I should have had to call for the manager twice..... but he only came over once and did absolutely nothing....no only did he not come over but avoided eye contact as if we had the plague. we sat for 1.5 hours and witnessed several families come, eat and go.... all while we only had half full glasses of lemonade and greasy chip without salsa......I love chili's, especially the 3 for 10 but the service wasn't worth my time.....we were in there so long the temperature outside dropped 20 whole degrees!!! read more

I come here once a week and every time i go the service gets worse and worse. Every time, i order the exact same thing and this time it took 45 minutes for the server to take my order. Our waiter is a black guy with a mohawk. We sat here for about what seemed to be 10 mins before i was able to stop the waiter and ask him if we could get our chips and salsa out. Please think twice before eating here!! First time coming here, my boys & I received the worst service. After waiting for over an hour two of our orders came out. Me and my other son ended up waiting an additional 30 minutes before receiving our plate. Ok, fast forward 6 months later, my friend and I came to have a few drinks and grab a burger. Once again, the wait was at least an hour and a half. I vowed then that I was done!! But apparently not...here I am 4 months later! I placed my order online at 7:18p.m and the website stated my order would be ready for pick up at 7:56p.m. I stood there for 10 minutes before the young man even ask if he could help me. When I told him I placed an online order, he pretended to look in the kitchen and advise me my order was coming up. Not mention, he told the other 5 customers the same exact thing. One lady was there before me and she was finally told they were out of pasta...wtf!! After waiting for another 30 minutes, my order was finally brought out. My freaking Texas cheese fries was cold. The cheese looked as if it had been reheated in the microwave. When I got home, my boneless wings were so hard, they cut the top of my mouth. I ended up throwing away $15 worth of food. We have been coming to the chili for several several years. The bartender Rose is amazing but they have a new bartender and his name is Denzel and he has the worst attitude I've ever seen. When asking for a beverage he completely will ignore you. When asking for the second time to have your beverage after sitting there for several minutes without a beverage in front of us he gets an attitude and said he'll be with us when he has time. This was the worst experience I've ever had at this chili's. We actually got up to leave and spoke to the manager Jill and she did nothing in our presence but say sorry and hope to see y'all come back again I was expecting a little bit more from her. When my husband came back again by himself when Denzel was the bartender again, Denzel tried to charge my husband for the beers that we had ordered the time before when we got up and left. Where to start? First, waited 15 mins before anybody acknowledged us. Also half the restaurant was closed due to understaffing. Then, half the tables that were open, were dirty. The host said something about "waiters having to clean their own tables due to suspicion of hosts stealing tips". After the 2 or 3 parties in front of us left, we casually walked to an open booth in the corner of the bar. While seated, the waiter (who I assumed was the only waiter for our section, being he was the only one I ever saw) never came to ask us for drink orders. Or even acknowledged with a simple "I'll be right with you." It wasn't till about 10 mins later that the table next to us dropped a cup and broke it, that a waiter finally came in our direction. Called to place a to-go order. The automated system picked up and had me on hold for 10 minutes while I drove to this location. I arrived at Chili's in Lancaster, Texas. Parked. Got out of my car and finally someone answered. I placed my order over the phone while sitting in the car and was told my order would be ready in 15 minutes. I waited in my car for 20 minutes. Went in the restaurant and had to wait another 20 minutes. The employees were young with NO proper CUSTOMER SERVICE. The wait was unacceptable. I WILL NOT return. read more

We ordered our food online because it smells like an ashtray in this place. A short wall with an opening at the top "separates" the smoking and non-smoking areas. I got there about 10 minutes AFTER we placed our order. The sign in the pick up area said, "See Bartender for To Go Orders". There was no bartender for about 5 min. and when she showed, she helped her "regulars" (men) before me even though I was there ahead of them. THEN she proceeds to tell me I had no order and the "technology" screwed up. She knew my name and asked if I had already paid. How would she know these things if the "technology" failed? SO she reentered the order and I waited 30 minutes on a to go order! Of course they said I could wait in the "non-smoking" area since the smell was awful. This is the most horrible location when it comes to service. On three different occasions I've been here it's been a bad experience. I gave them a chance because sometimes stuff happens and they are close to my house. But the service each time kept getting worse. First time they took forever to come get our drink order. Then the 2nd time they took forever to assist us overall and their excuse was because they were short handed. Almost an hour and a half later we were able to leave. It was a ridiculously long time. 3rd time, we walked in and no one was at the front to greet us and sit us down. About 5 min in someone walked up and asked if we'd been helped and then said he'd find us a table. Another few minutes went buy and another person came by and asked if we'd been helped and said he'd find us a table. I'm not denying that by this time, we were frustrated. Another few moments went by and finally what looked like a manager came by and realized what was happening and immediately cleaned off a table and sat us down. Great, right? No. He told us that someone would be out shortly and then nothing. About 10 min later after seeing that everyone was catering to other customers but completely ignoring us, we decided to walk out. Walked out and went to On The Border. We will never come to this location again. Poor customer service. Poor management. Poor all over. Instead of going into specific details about how awful my trip here was, I won't. If I did that I'd be here too long and might consider writing a novel. Long story short this was by far the worst service I've ever received in my life. It was bad enough to make me legitimately consider if I were on a hidden camera show. Waited over an hour to get our food. And then when it came out it wasn't even hot, barely warm. Almost like it was just sitting there for like half an hour too long before being served. We then discover that the waiter didn't even get the order correct, didn't even put in some macaroni for one of the kids, which were already super hungry from waiting an hour, then to discover it wasn't even made at all. Waiter had to be prompted every time someone was running low of drinks. Had to ask for things 3 times to confirm that she did indeed do what we asked. Never cleared any empty glasses or dishes on the table, leaving us with a table full empty dirty plates that we were done with. These are just a few of the ridiculous things that happened in 2 hours that I spent inside this restaurant. I'd honestly rather stab my own eyes out with a fork or attempt a self-vasectomy or even chain myself to an automobile and have them drag me behind going 75 down the highway than go back to this place ever again. Easily the worst service I've ever had in a restaurant and quite honestly I don't think I'll ever receive worse service even if somebody attempted it.
