Ok so this unassuming restaurant has been around for YEARS and while I have my favorites from their menu, (as in, the homemade horchata and steak tostadas), I recently tried their birria tacos with consome for the first time.... And BOY OH BOY, I can't help but to crave them right now as I type this out. Juicy, succulent and perfectly spiced, the meat just falls apart! I didn't even realize they didn't come with cheese until now because I honestly didn't miss it. As someone who eats A LOT, I found these surprisingly filling, although the platter only comes with 3 (haha I guess that's the normal portion size....heck, maybe even 2 is what others places are serving).
